This is really the best deal in town! I came here for lunch when I was waiting for my husband who was having his procedure done. Didn’t know what to order, decided to order a chicken sandwich and it was the best ever! Freshly grilled, tasty and simple! I was surprised!!! Oh, and their baked goods are really good. Moist muffins — wow!

food is extremely reasonably priced. grilled chicken and curly fries are about 6 bucks. eggs are even cheaper. grill master dude has a funny deadpan sense of humor. food is good for the price — nothing too fancy. i come here as a patient when i can to escape the hospital patient room food. the cafeteria food tastes muuuuch better than the patient’s food.

I had a breakfast sandwich here, English muffin, egg, sausage, and cheese. Tasty and piping hot, for $ 2.95. They were practically paying me to eat breakfast. Good deal. This would be 5 stars, but when I went to order, the women behind the counter looked at me like I was interrupting whatever they were doing looking down at their phones.

I HATEKP S PHONETREE. I have spent 2 months trying to find out how much i owe. And it has been a nightmare. Many calls several hours wasted. I haved been bounced around so much. WHAT kind of customer service is this!

Nothing special but works in a pinch if you are hospital-bound with friends/family. The breakfast omelets and other options are A-OK and made to order. The lunch/dinner items and salad bar are adequate as well. There is a heavy emphasis on burgers/chicken sandwiches etc at the grill. I had a decent enough Asian-style noodle salad with grilled tofu and spring rolls. You won’t be amazed, nor would you come here under ordinary circumstances, but the prices are very reasonable and the quality is decent enough.

Save an eye. Save your hunger. Two weeks ago: Emergency retina detachment surgery. Successful. Today: Follow-up appointment. Waiting for my prescription. Hungry. Veggie burger. Wheat bun. Four bucks. Successful. Two weeks later: Another appointment. Cup of yogurt. Cup of granola. Fruit by the pound. Swirl. Consume. Kaiser cafeteria can save your life too.

I’ve been spoiled in my past life in terms of hospital cafeterias. For the past 3 years I’ve been an intimate customer of a world renowned hospital in LA’s cafeteria and that place was just phenomenal. The Kaiser cafeteria isn’t horrible, it’s just nowhere even close to what I’ve seen in a hospital cafeteria before. It’s clean and the variety of food is ample. The chicken phở at lunch is delicious… and then I found out there was MSG in it… boo. The sandwiches from the grill are actually pretty darn good(I tend to get the turkey sandwich) but it takes quite a while to get it(about 7 – 10 minutes). The coffee is your standard coffee with the option of getting Starbucks beans(I miss having a Starbucks iN the hospital). Never tried the salad bar yet… not sure if I will anytime soon. Overall a clean environment to enjoy relatively good food priced at a standard cost. Nothing special but nothing horrible. Good for patients and patient families. I will say it’s magnitudes better than the CPMC cafeteria. For a private hospital that cafeteria is an embarrassment!

For cafeteria I mean it’s not so bad. If this was a breakfast joint I would give it 3 stars. But for here, right now it’s delicious. Does that make sense? We had a extended stay and these is the only spotto eat without moving your car in and out of the garage.

A typical cafeteria with a grill, salad bar, and entrées. They hav about 100 chairs of seating with 1 microwave, some vending machines, and free wifi. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food and they do accept credit card(min $ 5). If I worked here I might buy lunch once a week while bringing lunch the rest of the week to save money. Either way nothing too special but Ive seen worse places to eat lunch.

A huge fluffy pancake with egg and sausages made to order in front of your face for only $ 4.00 definitely deserves 4 stars. Totally.

for being a hospital cafeteria it’s pretty good. they’ve got a grill where you can order omelettes, breakfast, hot sandwiches, fries, etc. they’ve got a pretty good salad bar with all the fixin’s most hospital cafeterias wouldn’t have. they’ve got a hot food line with different food daily. and a sandwich maker who makes sandwiches on the spot for you. always there for me when hungry at work. i’ve become addicted to their cous cous. i even buy a slice of lemon cake which costs me near two bucks, knowing it’s the same cake from costco that costs like $ 10 for the whole thing. there lies my loyalty!

I am so embarrassed to say this, but I LOVE the cafeteria at Kaiser. As a former nursing student, my favorite part about going to clinical or my internship at Kaiser was the fact that I would get to eat at the cafeteria. So what’s so great? 1) Breakfast egg English Muffin with bacon or sausage patties. You can even get one bacon and one sausage. The cooks are awesome and the always custom made my sandwiches with egg whites. 2)The SALADBAR! — Potato salad, delicious American style chow mien, sushi, curry rice noodles, tuna salad, cucumber salad, fresh fruit and much much more all fresh and made daily. 3) Soups. I’m a particular fan of their pasole and Mexican chicken tortilla. 4) Sandwiches made to order. 5) Lunch specials. Phở, spaghetti!, BBQ chicken. 6) Fro Yo and toppings. I wasn’t lying when I say I really like the Kaiser cafeteria. I can’t wait to get sick. I shouldn’t have typed that.

Food’s okay, though the grill & hot specials lean toward the greasy. Decent salad bar. I ate here for quite a while before I got bored of it. But I’m too lazy to make a Trader Joe run, so I got a hot link w/curly fries for lunch. Not bad. If you’re at the hospital, you might as well check it out before schlepping down to Divis or TJs. Then again, if you’re in the hospital, maybe that schlepping ain’t so bad an idea, fatass.
