Talk about finding a gem, this place is THECOOLEST little coffee house in San Francisco

The matcha green tea latte is SO pretty. Idk how the matcha sits perfectly on top of the milk without mixing together. I’m not a fan of super sugary drinks, and it’s perfectly, mildly sweetened. I always add boba to it as well! Highly recommend. A great place to catch up with friends.

Great local coffee with a very mellow vibe. Tried a pour over and a lot of care went into it. Looks like a very loyal customers from the neighborhood. Music is just the right volume and the feel of the interior is sleek and clean

Grabbed a coffee to go– tasted great. Loved the inside of the place; very simple and clean. Staff was nice, too. Not many seats, though, if you’re planning on sitting down and enjoying a cup of tea/coffee.

I really like this café but the mixed berry drink I bought today had a piece of plastic string in it. I almost swallowed the string but caught it in time. This is quite scary. What is it???

Stopped in while waiting for a table at Hong Kong Lounge II across the street and grabbed a lavender earl grey latte. I’m lactarded so I got the almond milk upgrade and must say that it was delicious! Very sweet without being cloying.

Finally got to try this place while waiting for our number to be called at a close by restaurant. Me: I’ll have the lavender earl grey latte Barista: Would you like that hot or cold? Me: Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, hot. Usually people make it difficult for baristas but I always end up making it more difficult on myself. HOTORCOLD gosh darnit?! I’ve had the lavender latte at other places but this place does it right. The lavender and earl grey was a great balance of flavor. The mixed berry tea was good too. It’s the perfect drink to sip on while chillin on the beach. Make sure you have an awesome friend with you to tell you that you have lipstick on your tooth when it was really the berries from this drink. Great service, good drinks. Will definitely come back.

I moved to this neighborhood months before and only discovered this cute corner café after a friend raved about their coffee and tea. Trusting her, I gave this place a shot and now it has become one of my favorite coffee spots in the city. Fifty/Fifty has a great staff and seems to be growing their menu options. Their coffee beans are from Ritual Coffee, and they can prepare it in different ways: standard drip, pour over, cold brew, etc. I am a big fan of their milk tea lattes, which can be done hot or cold. Their Match Green Tea Latte is delicious, as is the Jasmine and the Lavender Earl Grey. Tapioca/Boba is available after 12pm, and is the perfect chewy texture. They serve Dynamo Donuts too if you want to pair that tea or coffee with something sweet in the morning. The best part: they take credit card, Apple Pay, and Android Pay through Square, which means I never have to worry about bringing cash. They have a great stamp card system too: one free drink after purchasing 10 drinks! It’s a great place to grab a drink and chat with someone or get some reading done. On the warmer days, there is outdoor seating, with tables on the sidewalk.

Stopped by here on a recent trip to San Fran with the boyfriend and I was not disappointed! The whole vibe of the store was very hip and modern, a really cute place for a date. They had a variety of selections, from coffees, tea lattes, and flavored teas. Let’s start with the review. Service: The employees were super sweet and nice. I always feel like service also plays a huge part everywhere and anywhere. No matter how good the food or drinks are at location if the service sucks it’ll ruin the taste of the food as well. I was served by a the guy with the cool hair who was sweet enough to make me a bear in my tea latte. He helped me choose which drinks I should get and was really helpful, not to mention patient when i asked 100 questions. If you want cute coffee this is the place to be! Drinks: I got the early grey lavender tea latte and it was one of the best lattes I have ever tried. It was not overly too sweet, really creamy, and rich, just the way tea lattes should be. It tasted just right on a cold day. My boyfriend also got the mango green tea with boba! The boba was cooked well and the tea was really good. I think I also saw some fruit bits in it as well. Overall my first experience and certainly not my last was a good one. I will make it a tradition to visit here every SF trip. It was hard to find at first but it is on the corner of spruce!

My new obsession has been tea lattes and this place did not disappoint. I came here to try their lavender earl grey latte. It definitely hits the spot! I also got their Dynamo donuts, which are always amazing but I wish they warmed it up because it was cold. Overall, a small but great spot for tea lattes!

I’ve been here multiple times here within the past week and all for one reason. The lavender earl grey latte! I’ve never had anything like it but the lavender just added such an amazing taste to the earl grey. Warning though, it does come out a little extra hot! Which is amazing for this insanely cold weather but can be bad news for your tongue if your sips are too big! This is my #1 spot when I’m craving for an earl grey latte and for those non-coffee/tea drinkers, try the hot chocolate! I had brought my cousin once for hot chocolate and it’s her new go-to spot for drinks!

Tea is on point. Huge fan of this place as it’s right next to our friend’s place. They use real matcha in their latte. It’s nice and bitter, but they sweeten it just enough so that it retains a hint of bitterness, and thus, its matcha character. If you find that it is too bitter, then you are not drinking proper matcha, and what you may *actually* enjoy is «matcha-flavored things» without the actual characteristic of matcha. There is no shame in this, but do note that this is actually decent proper matcha and I believe they make it well. They also have a fantastic lavender earl grey milk latte(it’s basically milk tea if you order it cold — after 12pm they have boba, too) which is a must for lavender lovers! I also picked up the hazelnut hot chocolate. It is, basically, like drinking liquefied Nutella, which is exactly as good as it sounds.(No sarcasm. Truly a dream.) Oh yes… and there’s stamp cards. Visiting friends is always fun, but it’s EXTRA fun when I can also get quality milk tea out of it.

GREATCOFFEE! You’d be lucky if you can find a seat here on the weekend because the seats here are usually taken by studying USF students. I love the simplicity and clean look of the menu on the wall. Also really like how they have a wide variety of tea lattes which can be served hot or cold(with boba). I’v tried the Jasmine Tea Latte, Early Grey Lavender Latte, and Lavender Cappuccino. All very good :) The tea lattes are extremely hot so it takes awhile to be able to drink it. Oh they also have a stamp card! Buy 10 get one Free :)

My friend from out of town was visiting and I was tasked with finding several new food places to spend try out with her. I go to the Mission or the Sunset for food, but I decided to branch out and see what the Richmond district has to office. I’m a tea lover, a coffee lover and a lover of all things sweet. So first, the food/drinks. I went on a Saturday so they had these Dynamo Donuts(which I had yet to try). These donut was amazing. After reading the reviews I decided to try the tea lattes — both the honey coconut and the lavender earl grey were great as hot drinks. I returned the next day to try the boba everyone was raving about here on Unilocal, and I will agree that it’s pretty darn good. The lavender earl grey wasn’t my favorite as an iced drink though — I’ll just try something different. They have a public restroom for customers only, which is awesome because it’s clean(and we know how a lot of places don’t have restrooms in SF so this alone got them to the 5th star in my book). It was a little difficult to see from the street and the inside is fairly place and minimalistic, but I assume that is on purpose. I have no real complaints or recommendations. Try it out, it’s worth it. Definitely my new favorite spot to hit up. Mind you, I live in the east Bay Area so this isn’t easy for me to get to two days in a row, but it proved to be worth it!

Got the matcha tea latte — decent but not amazing. The Americano was pretty meh. If I’m in the area again, I would be up for trying their fruity tea drinks to-go. It’s not a reliable place to work at. There’s only 3 tables with plugs, 3 – 4 small window seats, and 2 tables outside that are always full.

«A» and I were driving to Trader Joe’s when he decided to look up something on Unilocal and Fifty /Fifty Coffee and Tea popped up with photos of some delicious pastries! Well, one look at the photos and we decided we’d have to stop by sometime the very next day. So we walked over on Sunday morning and they don’t have a huge selection of pastries, but we ended up getting two donuts — salted caramel and lemon buttermilk — as well as a twice baked almond croissant. The salted caramel tasted a lot more citrus-y than salted caramel. The lemon buttermilk was deeelicious! I also really enjoyed the almond croissant. We didn’t try any of the beverages. Neither of us are into coffee, but we might try their tea one of these days!

I am so happy I found this place! Tried the peach green tea with boba. Really yummy and just the right amount of sweetness. The tapioca pearls were just the right texture and sweetness too. Ambiance was nice with some seating and large windows to people watch. It’s super easy to get there on the 38 or 38R – exit at the Spruce stop. The service was wonderful too. It’s always nice to see a smiling face. FYI, it’s a great place for drinks but there isn’t a large selection of pastries. Good thing the area has lots of other options for food and snacks.

Ritual coffee(cold brews, pour-overs, and more), tea lattes, boba tapioca, fruit purees(with real fruit), dynamo donuts, and other baked goods from devil’s teeth baking co. Basically some of the best of SF all-in-one shop. They take their food and drink pretty seriously and do a great job ensuring quality. Minimalist space with about five bar seats and three tables for two. However, you don’t need to be shy about pulling out your laptop and getting some work done(if you can find a seat). Each table has an outlet, but you may be scrounging for an outlet at the bar seats. Wi-fi was great at 7.55 mbps up /0.80 mbps down. The fruit purees had a bit of a stevia/fake sugar flavor, but I could tell they use REAL fruit from seeing fiber(and seeds for the mixed berry purée). That FOAM on top of the fruit purees though… I could really tell they gave that a good shake. The matcha tea latte was a bit bitter for my tastes, so they definitely didn’t skimp on the matcha. It was very smooth with a lightweight foam to top it off. Great place that I would definitely come back to, but maybe not worth it to go out of the way if you’re passing through SF.

After reading an article stating that this coffee shop is the«best in Inner Richmond» I’ve had my heart set on stopping by. They brew Ritual Coffee(my favorite!!!) and have a nice extended selection of tea latte beverages, non-caffeinated drinks, and pastries. The bf got his mainstay, a hot mocha, and I branched out and tried an iced salted caramel tea latte. He likes Ritual’s mocha from their storefronts and this one was no different. If you like sweeter drinks and want to diverge from coffee, the salted caramel tea latte is a good choice! We also indulged in one of the Dynamo Donuts they have on the weekends. The maple bacon was really tasty and fresh even at noon. I had to take one star off for their lack of seating! We had to squeeze into the bar seating when a table was preferred. Perhaps they should put some café tables outside? Something to consider.

Awesome café for the Asian side of me that is lactose intolerant. Great lattes and also has boba after noon– Sundays they tend to run out of boba early so I’d call ahead to check. Everything here looks delicious, the almond croissant was bomb, and I’d love to try more of the baked goods and different tea lattes. Don’t forget to bring in your punch card:)
