The quality hair Kelli uses and the quality of design/construction of the wigs is something that’s very difficult to find now. Most manufacturers, even the high-end ones, have changed their methods to reduce costs. The wigs have less body, and do not frame the face well. They also tend to be much thinner, using less hair. Kelli’s wigs are of a quality from 20 – 30 years ago, before substantial changes were made industry-wide. My one complaint is that she doesn’t always follow the customer’s instructions and preference on how to cut the hair. She cuts even long styles in odd layers, and cuts the hair more to her preference than the customer’s. sometimes cutting too short overall. For the expense of these wigs, problems like that shouldn’t be arising. She offers no refunds or discounts if she ruins a hairpiece by cutting too short.

I have been going to Kelli for 20 year. I have Alopecea Totalis, total hair loss. She has a keen sense of hair design and ability to match your personal needs and lifestyle. She provides the highest quality human hair. When I tell people I wear a hairpiece they are often surprised and remark how natural it looks. Many times I have seen people totally transformed through her amazing skills.

While I waited Lorraine brought me tea. I haven’t had a professional haircut in … well … many many years. Kelly completely understood what I wanted and delivered the perfect haircut. Her salon is small and personal and she gets it all done with grace and expertise. Thanks!

I have been a client of Face To Face for nearly twenty years. I believe that for humane hair replacement Kelli is the only person in the Bay Area who really understands the art of creating and maintaining hairpieces. My sister, who also has androgenetic alopecia, flies out to San Francisco from the East Coast to have Kelli make and maintain her hair pieces. Kelli’s goal for us is to have hair that looks and feels totally natural. Many times I’ve been in a store trying on hats or scarves and woman would say, «I wish I had beautiful hair like you.» I’m torn between just accepting the compliment and telling her my secret. Kelli is a master colorist who goes for a natural look blending the strands of hair into several different color shades to give it a natural look with beautiful highlights. If you want something different you can bring in a magazine photo for her to work with. Kelli is also totally confident and courageous when she cuts in a new hairpiece(remember it doesn’t grow back!). She achieves a bouncy, trendy look that is not over-the-top. The quality of the hair Kelli uses is superb. High quality human hair is expensive, so t’s a good idea to get the prices in writing so that there are no surprises, but she has barely raised her prices in years. Having alopecia could be very difficult emotionally but as I age, and most of my friends’ hair becomes thinner, I feel very grateful that I get to have such exquisite hair.
