Pretty addicted to baked goods, so yes I like this place. The nutty bars and peach fruit hand pies are good. I got a cookie with chocolate and walnut and it was amazing. It was a little small so just buy more cookies! I used to like their«sticky buns» but after my forth one found them to be too sugary. Wish they made some without the sugar coating. Also if u buy more pastries don’t make the mistake of putting the sugar coated bun in the same bag as the others because the sugar will fall off everywhere in the bag!

Chocolate Brownie was incredible and really worth trying. The best part is that this company is from Healdsburg! So when else are you going to try to eat at this place. I will 100% be trying more of their items.

Morning Sticky Bun Nice caramelized glaze on top instead of sugar crystals If you like the dough dense– this one’s for you! Not a big fan of doughy bun, but this one is quite addictive. Not too sweet, just right cinnamon and mace… PS– Gotta try the apple galette next

With Tuesdays being my usual shopping day, Downtown’s presence at the Ferry Building made my wallet a little lighter. Usually, my only opportunity to get their morsels is the Saturday markets here, but you know how I feel about crowds; I did visit their store in Healdsburg just before Cyrus permanently closed. On a recent Tuesday, they offered a great deal on their almond bars( ), 6 for $ 9.00(normally $ 1.75 each); if you like pecan pie, you’ll enjoy this one. I also noticed their latest focaccia aptly named Volcano( ). Packed with a variety of cheeses, fresh tomato slices, and black olives, this looks like a savory bundt cake with the center hole. Heating it up in my toaster oven, I could not finish this in one sitting as I finished a little more than half for my dinner. Their flavors are just right for me, neither too salty nor too sweet. Glad that I can get this during my regular shopping routine and save an hour of sleep on my Saturdays.

Morning Sticky Bun is my favorite! It’s a bun that is flaky like a croissant, chewy on the inside, crunchy on the outside, and sweet/sticky from the glaze all in one treat! I also enjoy their apple galette as well as the pear and raspberry galette.

I really do enjoy their donut muffins. I always wondered how they were made and it was actually featured on the Food Network(The Best Things I Ever Ate) and I guess it’s good to know they aren’t fried(they’re baked), but they are also covered with butter, which is probably what makes them taste so good. Well, these are great and I will continue to have them!
