I am always down to try new foods. All the pictures looked good. The reason for the low stars is due to lack of strong customer service. I am not someone with a stick up my _ss, but i was waiting in line patiently and was skipped twice. I was trying to exercise my angry customer volume, but i didnt even get an apology for the being skipped. So, eat here if you will, but for being new business i did not feel a sense of importance in being drafted to be an ongoing client. A restaurant’s longevity goes beyond the taste or quality of the food, it requires a sense of warmth. –p.s. The food was aiight…

Tasty! Good prices and the best part is that it’s not super oily. I’ve eaten here a few times and been satisfied with everything. Good, fresh naan too! It has a little bit of crispness which is my favorite kind. I think it’s by far the best option in the food court!

Loved the Tikka Masala combo which came with rice and naan. Mango Lassi was great too. Service was great and quick. Portions were a lot larger than expected. Will definitely be going back to try new things.

I stopped for a late afternoon lunch(3:00). I ordered the chicken curry($ 9) and was encouraged to get the special which includes rice and naan($ 11). So I ordered the special but was surprised when the dish came out. Very small portion of very bony chicken. Huge portion of rice and naan. It felt like they gave me the last scratch. The curry was tasty, but for the price, I expected more protein. Don’t go there late in the day.

I’m going to make this brief. It was our only alternative since al the other places had a line. That should’ve been the first sign(not one customer waiting in line). They burnt the chicken in the Tikka Marsala and there was things floating in the water. Overall we all weren’t impress and I think my stomach is starting to ache. Never again.

Lame service, bad attitude. I expected a wait. That’s fine. But when I went to get a seat and missed the guy calling my number by less than 5 minutes he gave away my food. He argued with me he was calling me for 10 minutes. I paid for that food. Why would he give it away? Instead I’m supposed to wait again, which I wouldn’t mind if they were nice about it, instead they were argumentative. Food might be good, but I won’t know.

We stopped in for a late afternoon snack and were very impressed! The food was excellent and the service was fast and friendly. The prices are decent too! My husband and I shared a lamb seekh Kabab(amazingly delicious), chicken seekh Kabab(also awesome), and an order of samosas(tasty) with flavorful chutney. The food came out fairly quickly, the guy taking our orders was friendly, and we liked the fact our filling little snack was just about $ 10. This definitely exceeded our expectations, especially given this place is in a mall food court!

Fresh, delicious and fast! Of course you might not expect food this good at a mall, but this place is really worth a try. Riyaz is very friendly, accommodating, has a great memory and obviously cares about his customers.

Food is amazing and flavorful with very good prices. I feel like I owed them more for what they gave me. Coming from someone who has never had curry or any Indian/Pakistani food. I feel like I need to try everything they have. I was told it would be spicy by my friends and the employees reassured me that not everything was spicy. They pointed me to the traditional dish which was a number 1. The sauce was amazing and was mild in spicy-ness as they said it would be. I’ll definitely be coming back because of the amazing food and helpful and friendly staff.

Well thought out combo items, great prices, as well as premium customer service on the register. Superb experience everytime. Recommended if visiting Stonestown Galleria.

We stopped by for a snack while shopping at Stonestown Mall. I had wanted to try their samosa at the Tanforan mall but they ran out. We got 2 samosas for $ 3. They were OK, nothing spectacular. I tasted potato more than anything. They gave you a small container of this sliced wedge of what tasted like an olive marinated in a spicy sauce, we threw it away. Would be better if they served a dipping sauce with the samosa instead. The samosa was a little spicy. We tried samosas earlier in the week at the Century 21 theater where they served a frozen brand, Sukhi’s, which was better tasting than the samosas at Curry Express. Will have to go back and try some of their other dishes but skip the samosas.

The service has definitely improved! The cashier asked how I was doing and asked if I needed a bag before giving me my food this time. Again, I ordered combo #1 and the wait was surprisingly only a minute. The chicken tikka masala was just as good as my last visit :)

Curry express YOUROCKS !!! Exotic garlic naan and chicken tikka masala They have 7 kinda different Combos Manager /owners was friendly enough to explain in details, I don’t mind waiting for 5 to 10 minute to get fresh Naan from tendoor, this place is kinda busy in lunch and dinner hours. You can always call them ahead to get your food ready

An Indian restaurant finally opened at Stonestown! I tried the Aloo Gobi($ 6) and got a side of basmati(an extra $ 2) with a mango lassi($ 3). When I ordered, they said«ok, it will be 10 minutes to cook». It makes me wonder if they would be able to handle a large crowd. Everyone working there was friendly and running around — I could definitely tell they were still new. My meal wasn’t anything special — the aloo gobi had way more cauliflower than potatoes. There were probably 3 pieces of potatoes and 10 cauliflowers. I prefer it a little more balanced than that. Given that they cook it on the spot, you’d think they’d ask how spicy I’d like it, but they didn’t. The spice level was mild — medium. The prices place them as great competition with the other restaurants here — this place is a lot cheaper than the others. I’d definitely try them again next time!
