Their crepes are delicious, fluffy and a generous portion! Will definitely come back for more!

My friend and I were craving crepes and this place was the nearest to us, so we decided to try it out especially since they have a 4 star rating and are open late! However, we were both disappointed and unsatisfied with our crepes. I ordered the nutella & strawberry crêpe and it wasn’t anything special. My biggest issue with the crêpe was how hard and crunchy it was. I prefer my crepes to be balanced with crunchiness and softness, but this one was overly crunchy, which I didn’t enjoy. My friend said she watched them make the crêpe, and saw that they have the crepes already pre-made and they just reheat them with every order, which may have caused their over-crunchiness; so they are not fresh! On top of that, the strawberries in my crêpe were pretty sour and not really sweet at all and the whole crêpe is wrapped with a paper towel, which makes the place seem cheap. Other than the crepes, the staff was very nice and friendly, but I don’t think I’ll ever return even if I was in the area. I’d rather make the 15 minute drive out to the Richmond District for Genki’s crepes instead!

If you haven’t already, I highly recommend trying this place! They’re not just the best crêpes in SF, but the best and most authentic I’ve had in this country. When I lived in Paris, I had a few crêpe stands near my flat, and I’d often order them with just confiture de fraises(strawberry jam). I’ve tried crêpes in the U.S., they’re still delicious in their own way, but only when you load them with strawberries and Nutella, and even still they’re not nearly as good as a simple French crêpe with jam. That is, until I tried this charming little eatery. I ordered a strawberry and Nutella crêpe, while my boyfriend has the turkey, egg, and cheese. Mine was absolutely INCREDIBLE, and he really enjoyed his as well. The batter was the perfect consistency, cooked to the exact crispness it should be. This is totally the place where I’d feel confident ordering something simple with strawberry jam and know it would turn out delicious. The staff was also amazing! We stopped in last night after seeing a movie at the French Alliance, and enjoyed the opportunity to chat a bit in French with the gentleman making the crêpes and the woman who rung us up. You could just tell they were lovely people, and they made us feel extremely welcome. It’s a small space, but you can easily enjoy your crêpe at a table, or eat it while walking down the street. It’s very clean, the ingredients are fresh, and it’s interesting to watch your crêpe get made by an expert. They have great hours, and are open late. We loved it here so much we’ll continue making it our Tuesday night after movie treat.

El lugar de bajón de San Francisco. Está en la zona de bares y se llena mal de gente en horarios atípicos, es súper chiquito pero hay DOCEMIL cosas para meterle a los creppes. Dulces(chocolate, frutas, crema, nutella, etc) y salados(pollo, pavo, queso, espinaca, champignones, etc). LOQUEDE! Precios buenísimos!

Never disappoints. Crepes here taste awesome. Even though they’re pricier than what I’d expect for crepes, they’re worth it. The guy working nights is really good at what he does. Amazing! Strongly recommend for amazing late night food in Polk Gulch!

And here goes… one of many reviews I’m playing catch up on. My friend was craving for some crepes and we all just happened to be bar hopping on Polk St., and she wouldn’t stop raving about her favorite crêpe place in the whole wide world. Okay, she didn’t exactly say that word for word, but you get the gist. Even though the door was closed, the owner(I presume) secretly ushered us in and said they were open, but I’m guessing due to the amount of heavy foot traffic related to Santa Con, he didn’t want all the drunk people inside causing any trouble. Our group opted for one of the sweets; nutella is always a big hit and one of the meat; ham if I remember correctly. Made right as we ordered and wow did it hit the right spot after an afternoon of drinking, I can see why my friend spoke so highly of this place. We were the only guests and got VIP treatment, delicious crepes at a really cheap price and enough to feed a group of completely sober ;) individuals.

Came here after a concert. Just wanted something small and quick. Place is old so yeah it’s a bit run down. Wasn’t anything special. But the crêpe was good, likes the texture of the crêpe.

They are strategically located on Polk Street where all the bars are at. They are open late for you to get your drunk munchies on. I had the spinach, mushroom, and cheese crêpe and it was delicious! My friend had the smoked salmon and basil one and that too was amazing.

Their Nutella strawberry raspberry crêpe is super good, especially before or after going out on Polk street. Highly recommend. Haven’t tried the savory crepes but my friend got them and they looked good too. I’ll be back!

A good crêpe, 3.5 stars, but I’ll round up. Doesn’t appear to be different crêpe skin for savory vs sweet crepes. I had the beef, onion, cheese, and jalapeño. Tasty and greasy, really hit the spot. Service was fast and friendly.

I wrote a review expressing how not impressed I was with this place and this is what the owner sent me back. The slave comment really bothered me because my wife did not yell at his employee. She simply was trying to speak with him through the glass of your window because the owner didn’t have the decency to open the door and speak with us like human beings. He shut the light off and basically yelled at us and told us to leave. Why would anyone want to go to this place with a owner like this? New! Photo of Abdel F. 0 friends 1 review Abdel F. San Francisco, CA Send Message For your review of: Crepes Ooh La La I’m so happy that you won’t come back again. When someone disrespect one of the employee I usually shut them down. We were breaking the fast after a hard long day. My friend tried to be nice to you by telling you we will be open in 30 minutes but your wife sir was shouting at him saying we should be open at that time. We make our crepes with love and we interact with our customers with kindness. But when the customer starts thinking we are his servants or slaves he or she crosses the line! Have a nice life sir!

Great business! The food is fantastic, the owner is charismatic, the location is great. It’s tiny, almost standing room though there are a few tables. We got the Ian’s Fave and the Spinach, Cheese, and mushrooms. Both were delicious, made with fresh ingredients, made to order. I would go back just to watch the owner make the crepes!

You’ve already had pizza drunk. Try a savory crêpe. Pretty bomb. It’s good by itself, but it’s better with sriracha.

So after my terrible experience a couple doors down at Quetzal Internet café, I came across this place. Now THESE people know how to make a great crêpe! And even taught me how! and by the way don’t be fooled by their hours. They are open right now even though it says closed. They are open from 11AM to 3AM. What an amazing thing to eat after partying all night

Their crepes are okay. but their service is kind of awkward? My friend and I went in here after dinner and there was literally no one in the shop. He took my order and then went on to go make my crêpe. Nice for me. but my friend was like uhhh??? Wouldn’t it have been more efficient to take both our orders and then make both our crepes? We ended up just getting that one and then leaving.

I got a savory chicken special one. After finishing it, I couldn’t help myself, I had to get a chocolate and banana for desert! They’ve got the freakin whole package. Small bonus: they got the cleanest and best smelling bathroom in town. And no im not drunk/high, it’s just a super rare thing around here.

Crepes Ooh La La is a small, take-out centered savory and sweet crepery that makes a darned good smoked salmon crêpe. I came around 8PM on a weekday night and there wasn’t really a line. I got to watch the chef make the crêpe right in front of me which was a great! The pricing is fair(not cheap and not expensive for San Francisco) and this place is also not good for big groups as there isn’t much seating at all. I absolutely loved the flavor blends of my smoked salmon, basil, and tomato crêpe, and I think the only thing I would’ve done differently at my visit here is order a second crêpe.

After a night of bar hopping, we all have at least a couple of needs before heading home to collapse in bed. 1. Carbs Savory crepes filled with protein? Carbs filled with sugary, fruit goodness? Check! 2. Toilet Access to a bathroom that has TP and doesn’t reek is a gem in itself, especially in this ‘hood. 3. Seating Because you’ve probably done a good amount of walking and want to sit/talk to your friends without having to shout. A four instead of five since the crepes aren’t outstanding, but they are yummy and well-priced. Thanks for meeting all of my needs, Crepes Ooh La La. Whether I’m sober or not. we shall meet again!

The crepes here are so DELICIOUS! I tried a strawberry with nutella crêpe and a King Lias(claimed as the sweetest crêpe on the menu and that’s absolutely true!). My favorite fruit is strawberries and I was surprised that the crêpe contained so much of it! I absolutely loved that they do not skimp out on ingredients. I expected a tiny bit of Nutella but there was so much inside when I got it that it was hard to cut with a plastic knife since it kept oozing everywhere, but I’m not complaining. That’s what I love about it! An overfilled crêpe is simply amazing. For a late night snack, I couldn’t finish my crêpe since it was so big! I think I negated all the calories I burned at the gym, but it was so worth it! Guess I have to try harder tomorrow. The seating inside the place is a bit tiny, only three tables with a limited amount of seats. It gets a bit busy after people go to the clubs and stop for a late-night snack so expect big groups and happy/drunk people chowing down on sweet and savory crepes. The crepes are made in the front of the store so you can watch them make your crêpe if you like and the smell is just so delicious inside the store. This place accepts credit cards so it’s a plus!

You almost have to ask yourself, why are you not eating a crêpe today? I grew up lucky enough to have a strawberry and whipped-crème crêpe as a kid. I has blown away. I’ve loved them ever since. Crepes Ooh La La is really good. I’m hooked. This is one of the better neighborhood fixtures of the last two years on Polk Street. Crepes are France’s burrito. This place hast a great selection of savory and sweet crepes. I’ve had a pretty good range. If you are new to crepes, they can point you in the right direction. Their crepes are good, and hearty. Every savory crêpe I’ve had has been good. For dessert, I’ll just say, it’s hard to beat strawberry.(orange marmalade or Nutella are good candidates, though) Overall — a good experience. The place is well-staffed. About $ 6 – 7 for a crêpe.
