I love this place. I come here almost every morning before work. The couple who runs this is super sweet, and they know what I want before I ask. This place is a little gem.

Adorable little mom and pop shop. And a nice place to pause and watch the rush go by. Yummy toasted bagels. The sign reads New York Bagels as the store title.

Super tiny, delicious coffee shop. Locally owned. Coffee was great. Perfect stop for a quick pick me up :)

I have passed by this little coffee shop on multiple occasions on my way to/from work and generally on Monday mornings, I can see a crowd inside. I figured any place with a crowd must be relatively decent. Checked the Unilocal reviews and saw it has 4 stars, so decided I would try it one morning when I am in need of coffee. The past Monday was that morning, and so I ordered a large latte and a raisin bagel with cream cheese. The lady behind the counter was really sweet and served the coffee with a smile. Service was relatively quick, and I was in and out within 5 minutes(there not being a crowd when I stopped in). I agree with most reviews in that the latte is a good choice. Definitely strong… as I was pretty wired the whole day – and I thought caffeine had lost its effect on me. The bagel came out nice and crispy on the outside and soft and chewy in the inside with the cream cheese warm and partly melted(just how I like it). Bagel choices are limited to about 5 different bagels. I wouldn’t say that the price is only $, given the price is pretty comparable to the cost of coffee that I get at a Philz or Blue Bottle, but the quality is there, so justifiable. Today I stopped in and ordered the white mocha. Again, very delicious. A bit sweet, but something my sweet tooth appreciates. I’ll definitely come back if I need a coffee picker upper.

Great bagels… I recommend the Lox sandwich. Even better people. They are so nice and so fast.

Lame service; burnt coffee. The cashier barely acknowledged me. She asked me the same question three times, which I answered clearly three times. It wasn’t busy, but the layout was complicated. I had to move around two people for cream. I’m not sure why this place is popular. Maybe they should call it «Bagel Choice»… It’s the opposite of my great experience at Café du Soleil.

Good bagels but they change price on you if you ask for add ons. One day $ 2 extra one day $ 3.50 and if you ask what happened just very rude response. Won’t be going back after that!

No place to sit here, grab your coffee and find somewhere else to sit down. Nothing much more to add here.

Kind staff, and cute little hole in the wall, but the prices do not match the quality. For a bagel with salmon cream cheese, and a small steamed cider, I paid $ 6. The cider was good, and the bagel was pretty average.

Honestly… I really wanted to like the place because of its proximity but the circumstances surrounding my visit prompted me to give 1 star. The company I work for recently moved from Fremont street near Noah’s Bagels over to the big building across the street on Folsom. Before, every morning I would do the walk portion of my commute, stop by Noah’s Bagels and get a big, warm and fluffy lox bagel for about $ 8(dollar more than Coffee Choice). So imagine my sadness when we moved away and I had to figure out another place for my morning bagel sandwich routine :( Finally today after visiting the Crunch Fitness next door, I walked by Coffee Choice and saw that they had a lox bagel sandwich on the menu! I walk in, order the usual lox on wheat with low fat cream cheese. The Russian lady then tells me she doesn’t have wheat but they offer multi-grain instead. I say okay. *This is where I’m giving the one star. She makes my sandwich, I pay, I leave, I open it up at work — it’s a freaking everything bagel. I visit the site and Unilocal and as it turns out, they only offer about 5 bagels and a multi grain one is not one of them. She gave me an everything bagel thinking she could pass it off as multi grain. Just wow. On top of that, it contained only one slice of salmon and after she had made the sandwich she slides in that it’s 25⁄50 cents extra because it’s low fat cream cheese. I paid $ 7 to be bitterly disappointed and lied to. I tried calling to let her know it’s not okay to have done that and that it was very shady but as it turns out, they don’t pick up the phone either. I would’ve been fine and still bought something had she told me they didn’t offer that option but she shot that horse in the face. This was a terrible business move and I’m glad the other bagels are good and people seem to like the place but out of pure disgust for their practices, I will no longer come here.

This place has perfect bagels! The cream cheese here is so smooth and creamy — I am pretty scared to ask how it is so smooth(please don’t tell me they mix it with mayo or something). I always get the asiago bagel with veggie cream cheese. It’s $ 3 and for $ 3, you can probably get a whole pack of bagels but it’s worth it because the cream cheese is that good!

Excellent lattes — smooth, flavorful and just the right temperature. I was kind of apprehensive that their«low carb» bagels may taste like cardboard. But to my surprise, I found my sesame seed bagel to be extremely good. The only thing I would say is, they are very generous with their spreads and this causes the bagel to get very messy. All in all I would go there in a heartbeat.

I actually love coming here but I get the slight feeling the Russian woman who works at the counter doesn’t like me. It’s not like I’ve ever said anything substantial or anything. I smile. I say thank you. It’s like a eerie feeling that you would get from a hostile cat. The cat doesn’t say anything but it glares… and you know.

I work right next to this little coffee shop and finally went in today. I asked for a iced coffee but blended and they were more than happy to do that for me. It’s a small little shop but prices are right and the staff is very friendly. The coffee was really good too! $ 2 for a 12oz which is slightly pricer I believe than starbucks if I remember but i think it tastes better. I would have liked more ice and less foam but next time. I’ll be back for sure!

I’ve always wanted to try this place out since I live very close but it’s not open on the weekends so we decided to check it out during the work week. It’s a small place and has two doors that you can enter and order from which was a bit confusing. I got the Asiago bagel with roasted red pepper cream cheese and a tomato and it was ok but nothing that really blew me away.

I choose this coffee as you can see coffee lovers. coffee, is very serious to me actually. it is one thing to take a trip to another land for casual enjoyment but it is wholly other to change the coffee flavor of the destinations. that is not acceptable and I hope that this never happen to you. actually this DID happen to me once in Guatemala. times are different there you do not understand. the point being, bring your choice of coffee to your destination because good coffee is nothing without good water. make good choices compadres. God bless to you
