Stopped in here randomly for breakfast. Ordered the English melt muffin and an iced tea. They didn’t have iced tea made and the barista offered to make some for me on the spot — awesome. Sandwich took a bit longer to make than I expected however once it came out I completely understand why. It was quite possibly the most beautifully presented egg sammy of my life with a schmear of hot sauce and a schmear of yogurt with sliced fruit and mint garnish, both on the side. Beautiful and delish!

An okay café in the Inner Sunset. I came here to get brunch/lunch with a friend, and I got a breakfast wrap(can’t remember the name, but it had a lot of egg, avocado, mushrooms, some salsa on top). I thought it was very filling, and the egg was a little excessive for me. I wish it had more salsa on top because that was the only thing giving flavor for me. I got a soy latte, and that was pretty good — not too much milk and the right amount of espresso.

After coming here dozens of times, I’ve come to enjoy the consistency of the food and an appetite for exploring all the hidden gems on the menu. It’s the little things — like cream cheese in the roast beef(best roast beef sandwich I’ve had) and the non-stop bustle of the owner in the back that make this place worth frequenting.

Quick service. Lots of seating. Not too crowded. I liked coming here since it isn’t as trendy and overcrowded as some other places nearby, but still has good food. Coffee maybe isn’t quite as good as some trendier places, but I’ll gladly take it to avoid waiting in a line! The food presentation in my opinion is much prettier than it needs to be given the rest of the restaurant’s feel — which isn’t a bad thing at all, just something I noticed. Overall good experience, I’d definitely come back!

I like this place a lot. It’s quiet, the drinks are food and it has a good space to work. Lots of outlets and good wifi. Only downsides: Tables are a little low for working. And I’m also confused as to why the door is left open when it’s fuhhhhreeeezing outside. I’d love to sit by the front but it’s Arctic! Food is delicious here as well. The man who prepares all the food puts a lot of love and care into everything! A simple breakfast burrito is served with a beautiful presentation, it’s super filling too!

Cute place to get some studying/work done with good food to get you through it. I had the healthy eater breakfast, which was tasty and satisfying. A couple hours later into my studying I had the triple berry smoothie. Not the best smoothie, but still refreshing. Free wifi nice service and relaxing music, I’ll definitely come back when I need to be productive.

Amazing menu for this medium sized neighborhood café. The breakfast menu is only served in the AM so if your looking for a breakfast fix go early. Huge sandwiches and amazing salads. Great smoothie menu. They have cute art on the walls and a television as well. Great for work /studying as well. Soft lighting /natural light is used in this café. Only street or bike parking. Great service. Kinda pricey but well worth a stop in.

Came here as the taqueria next door was closed. Not very happy with the service. Took nearly 20minutes to get a roast beef sandwich that wasn’t made to what I asked for. The caesar salad it came with was dry. Food prep needs two people. While having to wait for my sandwich I noticed that there display case is not very clean, now is the shelving with the napkins and sugar for coffee. He floors are painted and need some attention it hides the uneven concrete and could use a scrubbing with a hard bristle brush to get at all the mashed in crud dirt and food that’s in the cracks

Atmosphere– it’s warm, Pepe the owner is really nice and strikes up a great conversation. He is also good about switching to your favorite sports team Coffee– French press so if you’re not ok with that, get an americano Other drinks– iced tea is my bffs favorite. Green tea frappé has no matcha flavor and I wouldn’t order that again Outlets– plenty! Study environment– music isn’t too loud and there usually aren’t too many conversations going on. If you’re ucsf, it’s nice to get away from seeing a lot of classmates Bathroom– single, clean

While staying in the Inner Sunset area last weekend for Outside Lands, I was a half block walk away from Café La Flore. I had never been before but decided to visit since it was in close vicinity, had great reviews, and served breakfast food. I ended up here two mornings in a row ordering the same thing — their Veggie Breakfast Sandwich. The food here is delicious and presented so well — you would think you’re having breakfast at a nice breakfast/brunch spot rather than a coffee shop. The Veggie Breakfast Sandwich comes with fruit on the side — the fruit sits on top of a delicious swirl of yogurt. I think all of their breakfast items comes with this and it is absolutely delicious. Their coffee beverages were also great here. On top of it all, service is friendly. The shop itself is adorable and the type of place I could sit at all morning enjoying myself. I loved this place — if I lived in the neighborhood, this would definitely be my go to spot.

Pesto chicken sandwich– 5⁄5 stars! Let my pictures do the talking. I really liked the slight crunchiness on the edges of the bread. The dish came with a sweet raisin salad(choose between salad or chips) that balanced the pesto-ness of the sandwich. Mocha– 4⁄5 stars! Loved the foam and the cute leaf in the center of the mocha. Service– 5⁄5 stars! The cashier/cook/waiter was really sweet =)

Very, very solid coffee shop. I like this coffee shop enough to try and move into the area(also helps there’s a bar down the way)! I ordered a Vanilla Latte and a Bacon, Egg and Cheese sandwich on a Everything Bagel and followed up with my usual drip coffee. The awesomeness: + TONS of seating and outlets! I mean a lot! I counted approximately 50 seats in the place(2 floors). There are power strips under the bench. + Great food! My breakfast sandwich was very good plus I creeped on other people’s orders and theirs all looked delicious too. Everything was well plated. +REALLYGOODLATTE! I haven’t had a latte this good in a while. My Vanilla Latte was very creamy with the perfect amount of sweetness. The foam art was also a nice touch. + Excellent service. The workers were extremely nice and they even bring out the orders! I love being lazy. + FREE wifi! ‘Nuff said. + Easy parking! Granted I came on a Friday, parking was very easy to find and I was able to find a spot within a block. + The Corner Spot(a bar) is down the block for all my post work /studying beverages. The not so awesomeness: — My sandwich had thin skinny bacon instead of nice, thick slices. This is probably one of my favorite, if not my favorite, coffee shops in SF so far. It’s the complete package and I’ll be back soon enough!

I always find big chain coffee shops like Starbucks and Peets, or even Philz to be too noisy of places to stay at when I need a quiet environment to work with my laptop. Saw a lot of good reviews about this place and decided to give it a try. Came on a Saturday afternoon around 3ish. It’s on Irving so I was expecting a hard time to look for parking; but this coffee shop is actually in a less busy area on Irving so I was able to find a spot quickly. The coffee shop was about 30% full when I arrived. One thing I immediately noticed was that it’s a lot quieter than those other coffee shops. I guess one of the main reasons is because of the high ceilings. I am bad at estimating length but I guess it’s about 20 feet high? I got a Cappuccino and Peanut Butter Cookie. Both were pretty good. The server/cashier was willing to introduce to me their menu based on what I felt like. Overall, it’s a very cozy coffee shop. This will be one of my go-to coffee shops for working/studying at from now on.

*Atmosphere: this is a small café that probably has about 20 seats. But this is what I really like about it. I came in at 1pm for lunch(hoping for that breakfast menu). And what made the place more pleasant was how the sunlight hit in the café. It felt very relaxing and it was great that many individuals brought in their work and laptops and just studied. *Food: I ordered the Vegetarian Sandwich. I asked for no cheese but in the end she still gave me cheese which was a bit of a disappointment to me.(not a big fan of cheese). It was really interesting that they had that dried up bean sprout(not sure on the exact name) and the sauce a slightly sour. I found this interesting though. I also ordered a Chai Latte. It is not that appealing because it had more milk than chai. If there was more chai flavor, it would really hit the spot. *Service: the waitress/cashier was really nice. I tried to order the breakfast bagel but she politely said it has passed the breakfast hour but if I wanted, they can make a sandwich that had similar toppings as the bagels. Really nice of her

Yep, it’s true what they say — great place to study or do a bit of work. It was pretty crowded here on MLK Jr. Day. We were just glad they were open. It’s a bit dark in the back, but still workable. I just ordered an iced tea, which was all right. Nothing to write on Unilocal about. All in all, would keep it at the top of my list for a good working café in Inner Sunset.

I find myself becoming a coffee explorer. I’m always looking for a good cup of coffee and it’s fortunate that San Francisco has so many for me to visit right where I live. I ordered a vanilla latte and it was delicious. Milk temperature was perfect. The staff brought the latte to my table with a big smile: D Café La Flore not only has coffee but they have delicious café food. Ranging from salads to sandwiches. They also have a breakfast menu that includes croissants, granola with yogurt, and bagels to name a few. There are plenty of seating upstairs and downstairs with free WiFi. Great place to study, read, or catch-up with a friend.

Café La Flore is a great place to grab a cup of coffee while waiting for a friendsie to start off a Saturday. Their coffee is forreal and they have a star-studded lineup of different sandwiches as well. Like I said, great place to meet a friend. This is especially true if you are a Fruit Fly. I saw several fruit flies meet up at Café La Flore last time. I think they were doing this speed dating thing cause they were flying around in circles at regular intervals. I mean it’s all good, fruit flies need to get it too, but sometimes their speed dating gets dangerously close to my face. Obviously I can’t be sure, but I think the two fruit flies by the coffee condiments met on Tinder. They seem a little bit more ratchet than the others, seeing as how they were moving much more rapidly. I wish they would behave more appropriately though. They were distracting me from my studies. There are a lot of study space at Café La Flore and their coffee is great. But I’ll probably take it for to-go next time since I am not too fond of third-wheeling these fruit flies.
