Buen Sabor

I’ve been to close to 20 tacquerias in the city, and I can say without a doubt that this place has the best super burritos. Just a perfect burrito every time. Their horchata is great as well.

Delicious food (I ordered the Carnitas plate and it is delicious!), great service, and it’s super fast!

The Spanish rice and the whole pinto beans (taste like they’re homemade). They are a really good combination on the super carne Asada burrito. My girlfriend ended up getting the tostada, which isn’t a traditional tostada, but more like a taco bowl/​salad. None the less the tostada was filled to the brim with fresh, delicious ingredient. This will definitely be my new local taqueria, a must try. Can’t wait to try more!

The ladies here are literally so RUDE! they don’t greet you, thank you for anything and it almost seems like they don’t want your business. They are almost always too busy chatting amongst themselves to see if anyone needs help. I like to buy little containers of rice and/​or beans from here if I’m too lazy to cook that night and they almost seem annoyed at my purchase! They should be happy I’m buying something! They’re always empty!

I give it 5 stars for the food. Great burritos. In my opinion, one of the most consistently good burritos you can get in the city. I would give the service about 3 stars, because sometimes the nice lady who owns the place is not there, and the other employees are very quiet and even unfriendly. I live close, though, so I keep coming back for the delicious veggie burritos!

Food was delicious and fresh! We both had the enchilada dinners, but with different salsas: Rojas & Verde. Husband and wife owners were friendly. Husband does the cooking. The wife spoke little English so when we asked about the different dishes on the menu it was hard to get her to understand so we just settled on the enchiladas but it was a good choice! We had been driving around after doing some errands and the husband had a craving for good Mexican food. Google’d for Mexican Restaurants near us and were surprised that there was one nearby. We must’ve arrived around 8:30pm and it was on a Thursday night and I think they close at 9pm. Anyway we were the only ones there. She told us that she was closing up and told us to take our time, no hurry. Moved out of this area over 20+ years ago and lots of changes have happened especially on Leland and finding a good restaurant nearby was a find!

Good taste.
Restaurants don’t always deliver on their name. Oftentimes a hyperbolic statement. Not with Buen Sabor.
Two locations in San Francisco. One in the Mission. And this one. Gives new meaning to the phrase «food adventure».
Your reward for getting out of your comfort zone? Awesome tortas. Mine was packed with grilled chicken, black beans, lettuce and tomato.
Basically my dream burrito. As a sandwich.
Good taste? More like great.
