Pizza is delicious(Bruno special), beer is cheap and good selection, staff all very friendly and attentive. I like the restaurant layout and bar and it’s only a few blocks from me. Never very busy though but I can’t figure out why! Such a neighborhood gem.

We tried cheese pizza, garlic bread and salad on Thanksgiving night here. Pizza was awesome though I tried it after I reached home. I was not the one who had ordered it but was the one to take the left overs :). One of the very friendly gentleman who works there gave a small toy car to my nephew. That was such a sweet gesture. My nephew who is 4 or 5 years old was very happy along with all of us. I really appreciate it for making our day. Thanks a lot!

Went out to find jazz music, but found a amazing bar. The food was delicious and the service treated us like friends. I recommend the fried ravioli.

it’s a sports bar and pizza joint. Don’t expect more. The pizza is ok. The crust. Is crunchy and it arrives hot. But it isn’t anything fancy. The beer is good and the service was not fast but meant well and was friendly. Every neighborhood needs a good local place where you can have a beer and a slice and watch the game. Oh, and stick to the pizza. The meatballs were dry and the salad was a little soggy.

Excellent service! The new manager was so nice and thanked us for being supportive(I believe he just took over the place.) The food was great too, champagne refills, game on the big screens, and almost like a little hole-in-the-wall on pretty Filmore, SF. Definitely a place to check out if you’re in the area!

So very slow for a sandwich. Even the prime beef steaks would take sooner to get ready.

Their Bruno’s special pizza was so good, and it’s a very lax place to watch a sports game! I’d go back if I were around the area.

Mike(the owner) and his team are fantastic — great customer service. We live in the building and are proudly invite our friends over to this neighborhood pizzeria. Awesome cheese pizza, garlic fries and greek salad. Fantastic beer selection — really enjoy the fresh squeeze IPA. Mike was totally cool with us showing the cricket World Cup 2015 while it aired which brought a lot of people from the neighborhood in. Highly recommended!

Love love love this spot. It’s a neighborhood joint with the kindest owners! They are willing to go above and beyond to accommodate — including streaming the Cricket World Cup on their TVs through our computer. Stick with what is best: great Greek salad, awesome fries, cheese and pepperoni pizzas are on point. Also, the wings. Don’t love the calamari but my friends enjoyed it.

Happy hour = good stuff at reasonable prices. Even normally, it wouldn’t be too bad. But go in around 6 and get a slice for $ 3 and a beer for $ 3.75 is a pretty sweet deal! A single slice is more than enough for a meal. I upgraded to the Hawaii 5.0 and man, what a sweet combo of toppings. I’m not usually a fan of Hawaiian at all, but this take on it combined sweet with savory in a masterful way that just… mmm…buenisimo! That pizza with a cider made for a really great dinner. Service was mostly super fast, until I needed the check. But even so, sitting at the bar, I was in and out in around a half hour, which makes me happy. They had some games on, but no one was really watching them. Not really sure what the atmosphere is like here at busy times, though; I was in around 6, and it wasn’t too bad at all.

Any establishment that litters my neighborhood with wasteful door handles is no friend of mine. I will not be taking my business here. I understand you want more customers, but you should invest in improving quality and avoid activities that literally amount to dozens of flyers strewn throughout San Francisco’s streets. This is not a good experience for your current or future customers.

We were in town for a night so as soon we saw their street banner with happy hour we decided to try them out. We ordered chicken wings with some draft beers and the wings were okay, but after trying a couple of beers my boyfriend saw some nasty stuff that was in his beer, looked like small pieces of meat so we called the waitress and asked her about what it could be and all she could say was«our cups are clean so it must be something from beer» lol and my bf keep saying he never seen that in beer before lol. She left and we see her talking with her cook guy but never came back to our table with our answers since we already paid our bill. Overall was average, but the way the server handled the beer situation was not right, thus the 2 stars.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon, and the place was dead. We ordered some lagers on draft, and a large half hawaiann half margarhita pizza. to be honest the beer was tasty, and the pizza was not bad. It was fresh, hot, and tasty. The place has a cool atomosphere and open air seating which i like. id come back

Being right next to my apartment, Brunos has always been my go to place. Not because I didn’t have any option! I had options but this place makes sure that it becomes a second home to you! The staff is really friendly! Food is great(the choices are somewhat limited though but quality is always the same i. e good!!). Umm the beer is somewhat expensive but I believe the ambiance, food quality and taste does the justice! Now I’ve moved from San Francisco but I really miss watching the game, drinking beer and having their great pizza every now and then! Would definitely go there whenever I’m around!

I like this place, the pizza was a 3 – 4 but the service was good, and it’s what gives them 4.5 stars. What counts is how awesome the cooks, and staff are. We arrived in a large group no reservations, and they put the tables they could together immediately, they sat us down served us didn’t complain, and all they had was one waitress that did her best, and managed even with a full house and more patrons constantly coming in. The food and pitchers flowed, the food was good, and my only issue would be that the beer was definitely too warm. But the service, and kindness made up for it. Great place!

Good hh prices on beers. Terrible food. The ingredients on their pizza were not fresh. I’ve had better frozen pizza than the one I had here. I had a spicy chicken pizza here and the chicken tasted like the prepackaged chicken breast from the grocery store. Fake grill marks and all. The jalapeño on the pizza also tasted soggy, like straight from the can. With so many great restaurants up Fillmore street, I would pass on this place.

Being a huge fan of pizza and beer, I have to love this place. I came here a while back. It’s a good combo-platter bar and restaurant. They have a nice pizza-oven. They have an awesome $ 3.75 Happy Hour Beer-List. Be careful to look for the red stars on the list fro the deals that qualify. But, look at the whole list, because there are some winners. The menu is somewhat limited. But, the pizza looks good. I need to get a by-the-slice taste one of these nights. Calzones and Cheesesteaks are also on the menu.

I ordered super late night and had a great experience. The pizza arrived within an hour, hot and with peppers and cheese. Usually you have to ask for that. Nice to automatically include. The pizza itself was good. The calamari order was a little light in amount but taste was decent. The tartar sauce had way too much sugar for my taste, though. Would totally recommend for late night delivery. I will say that I thought it was expensive for a pizza place.
