I appreciate this little shop. For the change in your pocket, you can grab a beer and a snack for the long Caltrain ride home. My choice of beverage is their 21st Amendment, sold by the can. They usually have their seasonal in stock too! Don’t tell me you don’t like a little Hell High or Watermelon while trying to pass the time on the train. Lots of snacks, newspaper, coffee, and hell even flowers if you want to surprise someone when you arrive at your destination. The line moves pretty quickly since they’re really efficient at what they do. That means that even if you only have about a minute to spare, you won’t be left behind.

Love this place, nice people work here. George makes the best cup of coffee in the neighborhood, no joke.

Cute little basic morning coffee shop by the CalTrain. The coffee is fine but nothing special, and the guy working there couldn’t be nicer. You can definitely get better bouzhy coffee elsewhere, but for price and service and convenience you’re not gonna beat this if you’re a commuter.

Florist and convenience store business in one place? This is what it looks like to me but anyways, the people here are nice and friendly. It is always a good spot to get something to eat when you are waiting for your train. Although, I find that this spot is more of a snack and news stand. This is one point brought up by one of the reviewers which I highly agree with. Overall, positive experiences so I’ll definitely be back.

Honestly, I don’t even know how they make money, they have coffee for $ 1.25, redbull for $ 2 and lot of snacks and drinks for the same price as in Walgreens across the street. They are conveniently located in the lobby inside the Caltrain station. They also have a pretty decent selection of beers, wine and liquors that you can drink on your Caltrain ride. The guy with the SF Giants hat is really cool(hurts to say that since im an A’s fan) and the line is always short.

Loving the people of Bow-K(and what a cute quip for a name)! First, they are super nice, and that’s without even comparing them to the snarling woman at the coffee place next door. Second, they have everything you could want on your commute and then some — gum to trashy mags, juice squeezes to liquor(hey it helps when dealing with MUNI after my train). Most recently, I left my nalgene bottle on their creamer table and when I called the friendly woman informed me it was still there and they’d hold it in the frig until I come back tonight! One stop commute shop. Loving you!

Bow-K is where I buy wine and champagne every Friday night after work for my commute home, I like to call this the champagne train. I wish I knew the guys name who works there in the evening, Blonde, tall entertaining? Anyone? He makes champagne train even better by calming me down after a hard days work with a nice comment or a reminder that I still have time to catch the train and for champagne. There is a small town charm to this place and I have like everyone I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Thank you for helping with the work weeks and easing delays.

Bow-K is a kind of snack shop, news stand, gift shop, and drink shop all rolled into one surprisingly tiny little space. We’re talking a literal hole in the wall — a small shop that’s basically a counter facing you, and a rack of products behind it. Bow-K is basically everything a commuter might need quickly, efficiently, and with friendly service. Coffee? Got it. Red Bull? Got it. Beer? Got it. Snacks? Magazines? They have it. For a tiny shop they have an amazing(and well-chosen) selection of just about anything you could want. You can look and look again and realize there’s some product you missed among all the ones they carry. On top of having everything a commuter needs to wake up, relax, or grab a snack, the staff is friendly and they remember repeat customers. I get off the train, and when one of the morning attendants sees me, he gets«my usual» read for me as I’m approaching. That’s the kind of service you don’t see enough of. A shining star of the Caltrain station and a beacon of friendliness to every commuter, Bow-K is the best.

If it wasn’t for these guys, I wouldn’t have my coffee in the morning! The folks here serve coffee for a buck! Who can beat that? They even have cigarettes, snacks, magazines, soda, water, juice, wine, liquor & postcards. These friendly people are open when the CalTrain opens and closes. I suggest stopping by here and just saying hello. You probably walk past them all the time anyway. So yeah, buck for coffee gets me through my day! Cheers for 2010!

What would I have done without you Bow-k? Three years of riding CalTrain, and you(and Beer) got me through the challenges of taking public transit. Bow-K is a lot more than just a flower shop. They do sell beverages, snacks, magazines, etc… as well as flowers. The staff was always very quick(for those rushing to catch their trains) and friendly. Their prices are astonishingly low($ 3 for a big Sapporo) for doing business in SF.

They’re listed as a florist. The business cards on the counter say they’re a florist. But, umm, it looks more like a snack/news stand to me. Not that there’s anything wrong with being a snack/news stand. Quite to the contrary, I find snacks and news much more useful than flowers! Especially considering they’re in the 4th and King CalTrain station. $ 1 for coffee to take on the train if you’ve got a hangover. $ 2.75 for a big-ass import beer to take on the train if you’ve *really* got a hangover. Ooh, and only $ 1.50 for some tasty locally baked muffins. Granted, these aren’t fancy, organic, whole-grain muffins with unrefined sugar that we health-conscious San Franciscans are so accustomed to, but old-school, sugary, moist, sweet-ass muffins that get your fingers all sticky as you’re trying to tap away on your laptop on the train. In fact, it’s probably good that these aren’t «healthy» muffins. I get the bran muffin when I can, and were the bran to be any more wholesome, I’d have to drop a deuce on the train. And really, nobody wants that. So thank you, Bow-K, for giving me what I need in the morning, and more importantly, not giving me what I don’t need.
