The drinks were just OK. It wasn’t amazing but it wasn’t bad either. Probably around the Quickly or Q-Cup quality. But not opening when the hours say they are, that’s just bad…(–1 star)

Really love this place, great tea flavors and selection. The only thing that I noticed that needs improvement is that the time says they open at 11am and the door is always closed sometimes past 12:30. Really wish the staff was more reliable on opening on the time advertised. That portion of this business needs serious improvement.

I been here many times and the food is pretty consistent. Boba is very soft and not sweetened at all. I would give it a 1⁄5. The reason why I rated this place a 3⁄5 is because I enjoy the taste of their milk teas. I always order the strawberry peach black milk tea since it reminds me of tpumps :) This place isn’t that bad for the Tenderloin. Although I def think that they should step it up a bit

Their boba milk teas are seriously the best! I have frequented several boba tea houses, even quickly :/, in search of the freshest boba and this place has it. Ok, it’s not in the best of neighborhoods and it looks pretty run down, but they have an insane variety of healthy teas that are brewed fresh! But the the best thing about them is their boba. Old boba is hard, their boba is soft and tastes great. If you are in search for fresh boba with real teas, you have to try this place!

My friend saw that this place sold glass jars and really wanted to buy one.(He did, he collects them.) Despite the fact that they were almost closing, the employee who served us was nice and welcoming. I got a regular milk tea with boba and I was pleasantly content with what I got. It was the perfect sweetness and the texture of the boba pearls were soft and chewy. You can mix up to 3 flavors for an affordable price, which reminds me of Tpumps. Next time, I want to come back and try their egg waffles and other boba flavors!

I tried the black forest milk tea with boba, grass jelly, and milk foam on top. The service was pretty decent, the lady at the cashier was nice and helpful. The best part of the drink was the tea, I liked the strong but not overpowering taste. The boba was chewy on the inside and hard and powdery on the inside. :(The grass jelly didn’t really have any taste. The milk foam was the worst part imo, my stomach started hurting after drinking some of the milk foam… I couldn’t tell but the flavor was either extremely salty, extremely sweet, or just sugary sour milk :(((It’s just alright boba, not really anything special but the little glass bottles are cute and more convenient than going all the way to Chinatown for Plentea.

Adjustable sweetness and they have agar boba! I’ve only stuck to their milk teas but they offer smoothies as well. Boba consistency: Chewy, with a hint of honey. Tea: Pretty standard. Not an super strong tea taste but it didn’t taste like it came from powder. They have Oolong available. Sometimes when I’m feeling bold, I’ll order a taro waffle and later regret not ordering two.

The fact that I thought I might get killed walking to the store from my parking spot aside. I didn’t expect too much from Boba Delight and was pleasantly surprised! They have plenty of options and unique jars(because who doesn’t want cute jars). You’ll need to request it though, and the charge is $ 2. I love the fact that the lids actually snap on, unlike the flimsy ones from Plentea. There’s also tons of Asian snacks here AND they serve Three Twins and mochi ice cream: D I wasn’t blown away by the taste(it was a bit on the bland side) but it was enjoyable nonetheless.

Just dropped by in here for the first time during my lunch break. Felt like a boba kind of day. Their plain black milk tea with boba was a-okay! Refreshing and hit the spot. Also tried their egg puffs. Added chocolate chips + sliced almonds = nommy snack! Cool place. Will definitely come back if I’m in the area and craving bubble tea. Props for carrying Three Twins ice cream, mochi and Asian snacks.

I was craving boba after getting banh mi, I came across this place next door. I saw pictures and initially was excited to have my boba in a bottle, but my dreams got shot and it came in a normal boba cup. What I had? Peach strawberry Oolong milk tea with popping lychee boba — my first time having all these crazy flavors, but hey why not –the peach strawberry had a mild sweet taste which was great because I don’t like things too sweet and you could still taste the tea –my biggest mistake was getting the popping lychee bona, usually I like it in my froyo but for milk tea not so much — i do suggest 50 cents more upgrade to large!

Quickly used to be my go-to. That is until BD moved in. This place rocks. And super friendly staff. The green tea crema is heavenly.

Back onto my boba adventures which I’ve missed so dearly, I managed to finally snag time to visit this tiny location after exploring SF aimlessly like a lost tourist. This small, hidden gem of a boba shop is now one of my favorite go to boba shops to visit when I’m in the area. When I walked in, it was empty inside, so I was immediately skeptical whether or not this place was worth checking out. They also sell snacks on the side of the shop, like Pocky, and sell Popcorn Chicken there as well. A minor turn off for me also were a few flies that were buzzing around, but it wasn’t anything too noticeable and it wasn’t that big of a turn off for me(I mean it wasn’t like they were swarming and it wasn’t like it was in the area where they make their boba, so I digress). I ordered a Jasmine Milk Tea with a Strawberry Lychee base with Popping Yogurt Boba, and a Regular Oolong Milk Tea. The Oolong Milk Tea was really nice. I was actually kind of skeptical whether or not I should order it plain, but contrary to some of the other reviews out there, it wasn’t powdery at all and had the right amount of sweetness to it. I was really pleasantly surprised. But my Jasmine Strawberry Lychee Milk Tea and Popping Yogurt Boba. Yes yes yes. I’ve never had another place offer popping yogurt boba before, so being extremely curious and adventurous, went for it. It was simply amazing. In combination to my drink, it paired really nicely and tasted extremely nostalgic. To be exact, it tastes like Strawberry Gogurt. An absolute recommend, and a newfound love for popping yogurt balls. I really appreciated how opposed to Plentea, they actually give you the option of whether or not you want to purchase it in a glass bottle, but I opted into buying the glass bottles anyway for 2 $ a piece. I also like the caps on these better as opposed to Plentea, as they are WAY more secure. The only downside to the bottles themselves are that these bottles are smaller and squattier than Plenteas, but they’re also cheaper too, so I digress. The girl that was working there was extremely sweet too. I went there twice on different days and the same girl was kind enough to offer me a stamp card my second time around, punching in my drinks from the first time and my second time. Extremely pleasant worker and was extremely friendly. Definitely a thumbs up for how pleasant the customer service was to me. Overall I would definitely recommend this boba shop and I really enjoyed my experience here. Is it the best boba shop ever? Though I probably wouldn’t consider it as one of my top favorites of all time, this boba shop is a definite hidden gem and a place that definitely deserves a little more recognition and love to it.

I stumbled upon Boba delight in my quest to find the best boba in San Francisco. It’s a nice little shop in the southern part of the TL which is slightly nicer than just a few blocks north. They offer a wide variety of confections but I went with the standard milk tea with boba. Overall the drink was just OK and I think what makes the drink less appealing is that they use a soy powder rather than milk which gives it a creamy imitated milk flavor which I do not prefer. The boba itself wasn’t too bad but it seemed like it had been sitting out a little longer than I’d like as the balls were not very firm. Great place to stop by if you want a quick boba fix especially in this area where the options for good boba are a bit limited.

[No Non-Dairy Options Here] This place is pretty low key and no frills, but the boba was decent enough quality for the price. The flavor of the tea wasn’t the best, but if I came back here I might want to try the waffles and would probably order boba again to pair. Still better than Quickly up the street though! Cash only below $ 5FYI.

The jasmine milk tea was average. The boba was not bad. You can get your milk tea in a plastic juice-like bottle for extra 50 cents or in a stout glass jar for an extra $ 2. They also have eggettes which were just ok as well.

DRINKS: I like the boba drinks here! They are not bad drinks but not my favorite either. I usually get a green milk tea which is hard to mess up so I don’t have high expectations for boba. I like the little shop and they have a lot of Japanese snacks sold inside. I would come back to pick up those hard to find snacks. WOULD I RECOMMENDIT? Sure. If you’re looking for boba in TL, this is a spot you can go to. Is this my favorite? No.

Coworker got their panda milk tea that is basically original milk tea with black and«white» boba. He said it wasn’t great and that the white boba was really hard. Eceech. That does not sound appealing at all. However, I was craving a waffle and lo and behold, they had a taro waffle! Kudos to them to think of that! You don’t often see taro waffles just anywhere! They took a little longer to make than other places, but I think it was to make sure the outside was toasted crispy and golden brown. Not bad at all! The long wait, bad milk tea definitely lowered my star rating though.:(

Grown Up Quickly’s, while less mainstream than Plentea! If you’re in your upper 20’s(or older) and date little Asian girls in their early 20’s(or younger) who still love Boba, Boba Delight is an awesome way to not have to set foot in juvenile Quickly’s after you hit up Turtle Tower or Saigon Sandwich! Eat your Saigon Sandwiches here! I always get the Black Forest /Panda, both are money. Chicks dig all the fruity options.

Finally, decent boba in the ‘loin… and it’s not Quickly’s!!! Boba Delight has a wide variety of flavors. Obviously this is not for the serious tea aficionados. This is all sugar and balls baby, sugar and balls! They have the usual plastic cups, but if you want to get fancy you can purchase a reusable jar. They have reusable plastic one for 50 cents but you might as well go all the way and get the glass one. It knocks a bit off your total if you bring it in with you the next time you order a drink. If you’re around this area frequently, then it is economical. If not, just stick to a plastic to go cup. The first time I had just a regular olé milk tea w/balls. The boba balls were decently cooked. Not too hard, not too soft, definitely still al dente. The only thing I didn’t like was that my milk tea had a big hard chunk in it. I spat it out immediately and I think it was a chunk of rock sugar? It happens. I have also had the lychee QQ and lychee lover drinks. These are light and refreshing. They’re a bit heavier on the tea taste rather than artificial fruit flavoring so I appreciate that. They also carry Three Twins ice cream Again, this spot isn’t Quickly’s so I appreciate it. Welcome to the ‘hood!

Businesses like Saigon Sandwiches, Pagolac, Lee’s, Quickly’s and many family-owned businesses need help to revitalize the dangerous area of the Tenderloin. Having another boba shop definitely helps and a good start. The newest boba place could not come at a better time. It also replaced the old Prime Dip Sandwich place, a sandwich place I was honored ROTD. Between the two sandwich spots along with Saigon Sandwich, I think you know which business definitely reign on Larkin Street. On my debut of the new beverage shop, I had the Black Forest Milk Tea. The $ 3.50 drink had iced Black Tea, Grass jelly, and topped with creamy milk. I also wanted that beverage in their-own customized glass bottle for additional $ 1.95. Like many places, you can also customized your liking of sweetness. You bring back that shop’s bottle and receive 10% off your next beverage. «So leave the bottle in your car or purse,»(Like that is an easy task to remember). With the newest boba shop, the transformation has begun. I hope.
