Very fine establishment for the things
I buy there:
1. Sandwiches. 2. Fruit drinks
3. Moscato wine. 4. Cookies/crackers
5. Danish pastries

I’ve lived in the hood for 4 years now and have been going to Sario’s ever since. My roommate and I make a trip down to the«corner store’ probably 3 – 5 times a week to get munchies. Love coming in and meeting with the crew that works there and saying hello. Sometimes they even fill me in on a late night Saturday that I may have came in and forgot: P They are like family. Prices are a little steep, and they got rid of the 2 for 3 Powerade deal, but overall it is very convenient and not too bad.

Folks — this a neighborhood liquor store where the guys are helpful and pleasant. Good wine selection — prices are not out of control. Open late — these guys work hard. They even let me watch TV one night when the Giants were on(they love the Giants — that is a good thing). Thanks for providing a valuable service.

Terrible customer service they told us to get out as soon as we walked in. A group of fine upstanding Asian and white people. Buch of jerks.

The owner is racist. Fact. Total a-hole. Walked in with a group of Asian friends and he actually told us to get out. Of course he waited for us to make a purchase. I get that this type of business deals with bums all the time but that doesn’t mean you treat all your legit customers that way. Jackass.

For those– oh crap, I need batteries/booze asap– moments, Albertinos is great. I mean, really there isn’t any other place to quickly go so yeahhh. They do have a lot of variety in the little store which is nice. Like I said, it’s perfect for when you forgot an essential item at Safeway and need it fast! Only thing is that they charge extra for using a debit card. Also, why do the 18-year-olds that run in there for alcohol think they can pass for 21? Wait your turn!

This little liquor store provides almost all the little snacks and«grocery» items I need. Diet Red Bull? Check! Gum? Check! Pop Chips? Check! Milk? Check! Cookie dough? NO! Hence the missing star.

Two words. FOURLOKOS. Yeah call me gangsta. But I love it! Watermelon flavor is the best. But I bought it at 11 am on a Sunday morning. Therefore, I am gangsta. LOL. First, the alcohol will help my hangover chill. Second, the energy to function. I was buzzed all day! Oh na na na…

Probably the best experience I’ve EVEREVER had at a convenience store. On April 10,2011. Haha. I bought a grape juice. And while I purchased it, I was being sheltered from 50 mph winds. Albertinos — take me home tonight! Be mah little babeeeehhh.

To mix it up, I sometimes go here for water and things for work. They have a few things that Valentino’s doesn’t carry, and maybe a larger selection of alcohol and wine. Good selection of pain meds and cold tabs if you need it.

This is my emergency, I need pain medication or cookies stop. I also think it’s the closest place to get advil near Union Street. Their cashiers, or one in particular are friendly, and I know I’m paying through the nose for the convince of them being a corner store instead of a Rite Aid or something. But when I have a headache… just ask me if I care.

Cheap life lesson department(–sigh-): You know when you give a cashier a twenty and a single for a $ 10.94 purchase so you’ll get back a single sawbuck instead of five grimy bills? If you don’t want to get short-changed at this establishment, be sure you make a big show of it when you hand over your money.

I love Albertino’s. It doesn’t hurt that it only a mere two blocks from my apartment AND they sell all of the essentials: beer, wine, liquor, gatorade, milk, pasta, chips, red bull, and a variety of frozen foods that always seem like a good idea to buy when walking home from the bars(advice: the frozen egg and sausage sandwich, not the best idea). One of the guys there actually knows my name I go there so often, and he doesn’t even judge me when I’m buying jack daniels at 9am, he just smiles and rings me up!

It’s a liquor store that serves liquor. Thus it is good. Minus one point for yelling at my friends and I at 1:45AM to «HURRYUPANDGETYOURALCOHOL!» We already are buying two cubes of Coors Light. Drinkers like us don’t need to be reminded of that dreaded 2AM deadline. It’s always there. Like a nasty headcold. Why can’t California go the way of New York and have bars open until 4AM? That would be WONDERFUL.

Im with Rob on this one… The guys there are personable, the booze selection is above average and theyre open LATE… Now, if only they had a deli…

They have a better than average selection of top shelf stuff(especially vodkas). Fast cashiers. Can’t really complain about anything. They are exactly what I look for in a convenience store: good selection, low prices, and quick service.
