I’ve never waited so long for an ice cramel machiatto, I had 15 mins to wait for the trolley so I decided to go to this starbuck, since is right in front of it, after ordering my drink 10 mins had passed and still didn’t get my drink so I left, I didn’t want to miss my trolley to go to work. Thanks i was hoping getting a boost, all I got was a boost of nothing, waste of my time and money. I’m giving 3 stars just because I’ve been here other times where I order up to 5 drinks and it didn’t take this long.

The staff was very nice and friendly. However, the coffee was burnt to oblivion and tastes terrible I could hardly drink it(and I really like coffee). The restroom was in poor condition(actually quite filthy).

While I don’t normally choose Starbucks for my coffee-drinking needs(yes, I am a bit of a coffee snob, and also the type of frugal gal who prefers to make my coffee at home), I do appreciate them for their ubiquity, and for the fact that you can pretty much sit there nursing your drink forever if you’ve got work to do. So this is why I decided to pick a location relatively close to me for a free Meetup group I wanted to start. I posted our first Meetup for January 2016, and noted that the location was in the Trolley Square Mall. Of course, there’s at least one other Starbucks located on Mission Gorge Road, so some people ended up at the other one and there was a bit of confusion.(Ubiquity of Starbucks thus can be both a blessing and a curse!) Luckily, the other Starbucks’ employees were able to direct the missing members of our group to the right location, and we all met up for our critique group. I will agree with others who’ve said this location is on the small side. It is a free-standing Starbucks location, however, and not the café inside of the nearby Barnes & Noble, so that’s a plus! They’ve got a patio outside with tables and chairs, if you’re up for some sunshine, and insides there’s a table that will seat four if you’re part of a critique group like we were. :D The biggest plus for this location is that it’s right off the trolley line, so if you need to get your coffee fix and can’t drive, this spot is super handy. And since it’s in a mall, you can also pick up some cat food at the Petsmart, browse for the latest bestsellers at Barnes & Noble, grab some lunch at one of the restaurants, or grab party supplies at the Party City right next door. As far as Starbucks’ go, this one was definitely easier to find than the one I was searching for just the day before, on Adams Avenue… but in that case, I would also blame Google Maps for their faulty directions. And if you’re looking for a nonfiction critique group, check us out! We’re the Nonfiction Authors Association, and we’re meeting at this Starbucks on the last Saturday each month. Be sure to RSVP(it’s free, but we limit the group to 6 participants so we can organize things) on our Meetup page if you want to jump in on the critiques( ).

I enjoy walking into this location and bypass closer ones just to get the service I’d like. Sean is outstanding and is always working hard. It’s always a good start to be greeted by Sean and enjoy my Starbucks. Great service. Friendly staff. Thumbs up.

Although this Starbucks is in a busy location/shopping center… your coffee is worth the wait! All the staff here are so friendly. Sean, Jon & Grace just to name a few of the wonderful employees… If you go there often like I do… they remember your name & drink and always greet you when you walk in the door! I like to run over there before I head to work or on a lunch and I am never disappointed! Great Starbucks! :)

There isn’t a lot of seating here it seems as compared with other locations bit the coffee and service are commensurate with other Starbucks. I like to get a café misto(poor girls latte). Coffee with steamed foamy milk. A tall is 2.85. Not a bad deal. There are only two Starbucks in Santee so it gets pretty busy.

Stopped at this Starbucks during the morning rush hour to get my wife a sugar free pumpkin spice latte with whipped cream. The barista told me that they could not do sugar free pumpkin spice. Because my wife is diabetic, I had to think fast and got her a sugar free mocha latte with whipped cream, which she absolutely loved. I was surprised that Starbucks was unable to make a sugar free pumpkin spice latte.

What a dump. New store in new shopping district. Manager needs to take care of cleanliness in this otherwise nice store. Window washing needed too.

Customer service is 4 stars, but skills in making a flat white is extremely terrible. Just because you have a recipe doesn’t mean it will taste right. No bubbles should be seen when you have a finished flat white. Bubbles galore.

The drinks here are always great. By far this is this is my favorite Starbucks. However I’m half and half on the service. The staff is always nice, unless there super busy they get kind of rude not gonna lie. The guys are always sweet but more than half the girls are always super bitchy! I’m not sure If it’s just with me or with everyone, but I’m always here on a daily basis since I work right across from them. One of my biggest issues with this place is I always ask for mocha drizzle on my mocha frap and whoever takes me order never writes it down and I literally get bitched at when I ask them to put on because they didn’t. There always saying«next time you need to ask before I make the drink» with a nasty attitude. And I ALWAYS ask and this ALWAYS happens. I’m not a person who likes to cause trouble so I just smile and apologize for THEIR mistake, and even after I get attitude. My point is even if was me or anyone at that matter who forgets to ask, they do not need to treat the person so rudely! It is a business and they are representing the business, those couple of girls giving horrible customer service ruin it for Thai Starbucks. Overall though I love this place and most of the staff is always super sweet and talkative. Art is the best!!!

Tonight after I had ordered my drink and was waiting in the drive thru, I realized I left my debit card at home and had no cash on me. I got to the window and explained to the man what the deal was, he turned to his manager and said something that I couldn’t hear, then turned back to me with my drink and said«since we already made it, here you go. Don’t worry about it.» Needless to say I was incredibly appreciative that he would even consider doing that for me. I know this has nothing to do with the establishment itself or the quality of it’s products, but I thought it was well worth mentioning. I will definitely make this location my regular spot!

This is definitely my Starbucks of choice to go to. It’s not the biggest on the inside, it’s not the prettiest, and it’s pretty much in «weekend consumer/soccer mom» country, BUT I love the atmosphere. They have pretty much all learned my name by now, I have my favorite baristas there that we joke around with eachother(yes, ART, I will mention you here!), and I have NEVER had a drink made badly, it’s never been dirty, or had a pastry that was not fresh. This is my Saturday/Sunday ritual, as my boyfriend works nearby and always works weekends, and I always bring him my free refills(only on iced coffee/tea and you NEED to get your Starbucks gift card registered to do it). Love you, guys!

I have been to this joint many times over the years. But have just now checked in. It is likely better to be a grab-n-run coffee joint than to try to sit down and do work. The lines are often wrapped to the door, but the drinks come out fairly quick. The seats are always positioned in front of the hottest windows~! I’ll go down the street.

I am a fan of coffee and Starbucks seems to be a common theme in my life. I have stopped at this Starbucks location a handful of times when I am in the area. For the location — a busy shopping center– this location is small. The service is fair and pretty quick. However since it is a small location seating seems to be a little limited. Each time that I have been here the staff moves the line along fairly quick. Which is a good thing for me since usually I am in dire need to load up on caffiene!

It’s funny, I was here about a year ago, and then there was a man sitting talking to himself, and this time, when I walked in, right outside the door, there was a man talking to himself. Perhaps it s a reoccurring theme at this location. At any rate, the customer service continues to be very good, and my Ethiopian grande was very good. I tried their coffee cake for the first time,( ) and it was quite crumbly. The top was very good and the inside good, but I thought it could of been a bit moister.( ) They had three barista’s at the time I was here, and they busily working and meeting their customers needs.
