EVERYONE is always so nice. They make you always feel welcome. I love how they have fun dress up days. The staff always looks like they are having a lot of fun working there. Great vibe. Spicy chorizo sandwich is THEBEST!!!

I honestly would not give this many stars. Everytime I go to this store I walk away with my drink made wrong and the staff is so rude. We pay way to much money to not get it right. They don’t clean the blenders well, leaving the flavors of the previous drinks behind and they put the ice in the cups over the ice bin spilling coffee into the ice. I don’t even like coffee! Beware when you go to this store. Management sucks! There are plenty of other Starbucks around that get it done right.

I had the best customer service here. Alyssa was doing my order. Sadly my coffee was taking A while but she was super friendly and patient. She was very sincere and truly cared about me and how I was doing

Two stars because they’re nice, but the drinks suck. Every time I go here it’s like a 10 minute minimum trip.(I only go when it’s an emergency coffee day) The worst part is, after your 10 – 25 min long wait, your drink will never taste right. It’s unfortunate.

Your usual Starbucks. The only comment I have is that they get my order wrong about 20% of the time. For example, I asked for a caramel macchiato, and was given a latte with caramel syrup… similar, but not what I asked for.

The coffee is good. If you go through the drive thru then don’t be in a hurry, waited for 30 minutes. It’s ridiculous!

Probably the slowest drive through and all east county services also you better tell them exactly what you want because your coffee does not taste like a regular one like how many pumps you want and everything

Got boxed in at the drive thru, not knowing I’d be sitting there for 25 minutes. Kids working were talking about shotgunning beers while I wait for my drink at the window, standing around and playing with straws. My drinks came out wrong, for some unknown reason the barista put caramel in a Double Chocolatey Chip frap and I didn’t know till I was well on my way home. My drinks were menu drinks, nothing special, nothing added, nothing substituted. I told the young man working the window that a 25 minute wait in the drive thru is ridiculous. He scoffed and said«well, I assure you, we’re working as hard as we can»… RIGHT. Real crappy customer service. The employees here make the manager look like a fool– though with these types of employees, I can only imagine what the manager is like.

Lacks customer service, I stood at the register for a couple of minutes, then the manager(black shirt) told me «be with you in a minute». Lacks integrity, no one atteneded me at the walk up register for over five minutes. Lacks staffing, if you are«too busy» to take care of the walk ups and«swamped» drive thru, hire some staff. I was the only one standing at the register, hire some good staff, flush the attitude down toilet. Lacks diversity, the staff is all hand picked, by someone(NOLATINOS, NOASIANS). Oh yeah a token ½ black kid works here. BADEXPERIENCES equal BADREVIEWSKLANTEESTARBUCKS. Stereotypes exist because they are usually true.

I love Starbucks but I hate this location. Staff is slow, careless, and dare I say cocky? Drive through is a minimum 15 minute wait regardless of whether or not there’s just 1 person ahead of you in line. Slow slow slow. Dislike. Go down the street. Avoid this location unless you are bored and have time to waste!

If you’re going to have a drive thru, put competent employees at that station please. 1 have issues with the service at this store. One, extra means EXTRA! This includes Ice! Second please double check the orders. 2nd time now through this drive thru and both times drink NOT made to order.

I visited this store on Thursday, 3⁄10. I was doing a network upgrade at a nearby business and after running cables all day, my co-worker and I were thirsty and in need of caffeine. So of course, when we saw the Starbucks nearby, we excitedly headed over. While I was in line, I noticed several bugs(fruit flies?) in the food display case. Obviously concerned about this, I made mention of this to one of the employees — a taller gentleman — advising him I had witnessed the bugs physically land on the food and crawl around. When I told him, he didn’t seem too concerned, and just sort of shrugged, and then walked away and continued making coffee for guests. Never once did I see him take out the food I saw the bugs land on. Second, my co-worker ordered a plain iced-tea — non-sweetened. Just regular iced black tea. Not only did they never call him(he had to ask if the drink was his), it had lemonade in it. When he asked the female barista for one without lemonade she rolled her eyes(I witnessed the entire exchange) and said, «Sure.» and then took the drink back and remade it. After she gave him the new drink and he walked out, I watched the employees glance at him and snicker. To say the customer service at this location was lacking would be the understatement of the year. I am appalled at the lack of customer service, politeness, and care for health safety. While it is true the coffee business has a stereotypical reputation of baristas being snobby it doesn’t mean your employees should live up(or down?) to the expectation/stereotype. Each employee can make a conscious decision to actually care about their job, or at least pretend they do. Instead, my co-worker and I walked out of this Starbucks feeling as if we had been a bother to the employees and had somehow burdened them. Is that really the feeling you want your guests to have? Starbucks isn’t the only coffee slinger in town — there are plenty of other options, and yet I choose Starbucks almost every time. This location dropped the ball — big time. If anything, just for the fact they had bugs crawling around their food items. This has been reported to the County of San Diego Department of Environmental Health.

It’s an average starbucks for the area. Always a long line at the drive thru. Maybe we need another starbucks in santee? Parking is always hard. I have a disability, but not handicapped plackard, which isn’t a problem most places. But here I have to park so far. There is almost never a close spot. They made my drink wrong last time I went in, but let me keep both, so I was able to give the other drink to my mom, which made her day. The staff is friendly, but they’ve never gotten to know me like at the other starbucks.

Probably the slowest Drive-thru Starbucks in history. Like seriously, you might want to bring a drink with you to enjoy before ordering your drink because it’s going to take about 20 – 30 mins.

Do not go here unless you want to wait 40 mins for your coffee. Every Starbucks is busy & I’ve never waited that long for a regular hot coffee & iced coffee. Then they got the order wrong.

They seriously need to get it together here! This place is always a hot mess. I stopped coming here a year ago because it was such a diaster every time. Stopped by here again this morning because I didn’t have time to drive the extra mile to the next one. My mistake! 4 out of 4 simple drinks made WRONG! Don’t even me started on the customer service. Won’t be back again. I’d suggest to just keep driving.

I cannot give any Starbucks a bad review. However every time I go to this Starbucks they forget to put whatever flavoring inside my coffee. Yes they are slow in the drive thru but I can get past that when I order a drink and I pull away I want my damn drink that I ordered.

This Starbucks has some of the nicest barista’s working at it. The coffee is always consistent and they are typically never out of any coffee or food that you’re craving. The only bad thing, and it’s not even that bad is that they are constantly busy so never come here if you are in a rush.

I just had to post a review at this exact moment because I’m currently stuck in the drive-thru here. I’ve been idling in line for 33 minutes so far, with 3 cars still in front of me before I get to the window. I typically sit inside coffee shops but when my baby falls asleep in the car, it’s much more convenient to use a drive-thru… isn’t that what they’re for? I have never, in my life, been waiting this long in any drive-thru, anywhere, except this location. Once you enter, you’re completely stuck in line with no way out and no way to gauge how long the wait will be. Once you realize you’ve hit the 20-min wait mark, there’s no escaping the line. May as well cancel your other plans for the next hour. The handful of other times I’ve come here have been equally horrendous, with waits anywhere between 20 – 30 minutes. Yet I keep trying to give this location the benefit of the doubt. Today is by far the worst wait I’ve had. Now going on 37 minutes… It’s incredulous to me that it takes this long to serve people. I may as well go to a sit-down restaurant — at least I’d have appetizers while I waited. Finally got my coffee with barely a cracked smile and an unimpressive«hello,» then was given incorrect change. There were 3 baristas/drive-thru cashiers at the window when I pulled up. Why? Certainly not to speed things up. Does management ever read these reviews? Something needs to be done here. It’s pretty bad customer service when a simple drive-thru run leaves you in a foul mood for the morning. Come on Starbucks, you’re better than this!
