Let’s be real the food is in great in East County, I’m so happy you have this place close to my house. The sushi is really good and the prices aren’t too bad either. I also like that they will allow you to customize your own roll. The rolls are really fat and the sashimi is generously sliced.

Service was super slow !!! My Red curry was ok but I have to sadly say there was no meat :(lids on the spice tray were extremely dirty and tops had not been wiped down for quite some time with food and grime smeared on the top ??? Come on Guy’s ??? Our fire roll was great but rolled super loose so when we dipped it into the soy sauce it kinda fell apart and we had to fish it out with our fork :| They do have alot of regular’s though. For Santee I would have to say overall their decent. I have only been there once but are willing to give it another go.

I know I’m not going to be very popular but I did not enjoy this place. The service was great the sushi however was mediocre at best. The fish did not taste fresh the sushi roll was at best average. I don’t think I’ll be coming back anytime soon. I wanted to like this place but I didn’t.

The Shashimi platter which is usually the best fish at sushi restaurants is not good here. Almost as if the fish has no taste. Also on Friday afternoon they will have 1 waitress and she’ll be trying to eat and help the guest.(This was our experience last week) We decided to give them another shot. I called in an order at 7pm guy told us 15 min. My husband arrived at 7:15pm the cashier charged him and then told him it would be 15 more min. Okay it’s Friday night and they are busy we understand. But it’s 8pm and my husband is Still Waiting. I called the restaurant and ask the lady if they could please take care of my husband who has been there since 7:15pm waiting for our food that was suppose to be ready she argued with me said that the person that took our order told my husband 50min not 15min. I told her that was not true because I called the order in. She gave the phone to someone else! They apologized and said they would have him out in 5min. We will see. Hopefully they don’t spit in our soup now. Not going here again.

We really enjoy the food at this restaurant. We just moved to Santee and are so glad to be 2 blocks away. Try them out if you like Thai and/or Sushi, you won’t be disappointed!

I love this place. I will drive from the beach area just to go here. I love their sushi and the rolls are all so different. The staff is super friendly. Their museman is also really good! It is my favorite! You can also create your own roll and if it is a hit then they will list that roll and name it after you!

Back here again. Quality and taste is outstanding! Everything is fresh! My kids love it here too. Their sushi rolls are huge and really good. Thai panang curry is delicious, including their spicy edamame! Yum!

Wanted to like this place but will never come back. Ordered the garlic beef which was supposed to come with miso soup and salad. When the waitress brought it out, it was the smallest serving and no soup or salad. I asked if there was a mistake and she said that I ordered the appetizer. I then asked for the entrée I ordered and the beef dish portion was the same — tiny!

Grew up with this place for all my life! The best and most crispy salmon skin rolls in town! Excellent chicken satay and vegetable tempura as well! The sushi chef there named Mike has been known by my family for years! He knows just the way my dad and I like our salmon skin rolls!

Usually good food but lately have become slow and careless as evidenced by the vegetable label still affixed to my food.

Usually a restaurant that serves more that one type of ethnic dish will usually flop but they do an excellent job with both Japanese and Thai… Sadly they took their best app off the menu«Japanese beef»…BESTEVER

I stopped by while driving around lakeside. The place was clean and basic in décor. I noticed lots of signature rolls, many with tempura shrimp. I opted for my go-to: eel roll. It didn’t taste as fresh as some I’ve had. The eel itself was overcooked. I prefer it tender and flakey. I noticed Suriya ki on the menu and thought.: hey why not? It was on the bland sidere, with chunks of chewy beef instead of thin slices. I wasn’t offered any egg. The boyfriend ordered spicy rice hotness 10⁄10. His take: «not spicy». I was pleasantly surprised to see stuffed tempura jalapenos on the menu. I wished for more than 5 pepper halves for $ 8. I could have eaten 5 more by myself. We also had some tom yum soup which was passable.

Hmmmm, Jack of all trades master of none. Keep in mind Sushi is my favorite and I’m a professional fish buyer for a living. Pros: cute place, friendly service. Nice variety of rolls. Salmon sushi is fresh and thick cut and fresh. Cons: most rolls are similar in flavor, nothing really stands alone. Price, compared to places on the Coastal communities it’s overpriced. Having fewer choices in East county likely dictate the excessive cost.

So far 10 out of 10 times it’s been fantastic and has moved into the best sushi spot for me. I base my rating on quality of sushi and the cut, they are unique with Thai food as well which is also great yum I’m about to eat more

Love how this place has a two in one. Went here for the first time for dinner. Was craving sushi and thai food at the same time. Small place, but enough people working. They’re very nice and welcoming. I had the Pad see ewe($ 8), which was good but I wish it was somehow a little spicy. I also got the sunny roll($ 12), everything I like in a sushi roll. But I wish their crab meat was a little more fresh. Pricing is average. Definitely will come back for their lunch special!

Unfortunately, not a fan of this joint. I live so close and really wanted to enjoy this place after several tries. They have a combination of Thai, Japanese & Chinese foods on their menu… but can’t do any of the dishes well. I should have known better as I tend to stay away from restaurants that serve mixed cuisines. The sushi was rolled in disproportionately large sizes and oozing of too much rice. Sashimi was not cut very well– thick, weirdly shaped and looked unappetizing instead of thin beautiful cuts that show off the grain of the fish. The yellow curry had grainy & tough chicken and the sauce was disappointing. Two stars. The food came out quickly and their mango & sticky rice was great!
