OMGoodness… Delicious! Ordered our Christmas pastries from here and we will be back! I have had pecan stickey buns from the Best throughout San Diego and when I asked if they could make them, they said «sure, no problem» I initially was a tid-​bit worried as the girls had to ask… never heard of them before, but the older man (maybe the Dad) said they could do it… I ordered a full dozen — and other yummies to give our full house a variety for our Christmas Brunch … Everything was PERFECT, but, especially the stickey buns OMG they melted in my mouth… they are now my all of San Diego BEST! Glad I ordered the dozen and a dozen of the cinnamon rolls… I was able to send extras home with our guests for continued yummy eats for the day after! Go to CMB… trust me, you’ll return!

Best kept secret of Julian. Having been open for only 4 months, but doing wholesale for 5 years, there was luckily no line unlike other overrated bakeries in the area. Their pies and turnovers have the best crust I’ve had, and the apple filling was equally as amazing. I’ll be back.

What a wonderful bakery run by a great family! They have by far the best crust on all their pies and filled pastries of any place in town. I know for a fact that they use locally grown apples. I just had a sweet potato empanada which was «to die for.» Go there! You won’t be disappointed!

OMG! Amazing! Loved everything about it. The pies were delicious and the turnovers are to die for. I have been going to Julian with my family for over thirty years and I have tried every Pie place including moms and Julian pie company, always finding those pies too sweet and apples mushy but these pies are perfect! You have to try them, you won’t be sorry.

Tried this place for the first time today, and WOW!!! Fantastic! The Julian area has quite a few bakeries, and in our 15 years here, we have tried them all. This one is the best — by far. The pies, the pastries, the cookies are all WONDERFUL! I sure hope this place is successful. They need to be around for a long, long time.

I came in the morning just after they opened. The breakfast pastries all looked amazing. I had the blueberry and cream cheese pastry, and a mango empanada. My daughter devoured half of the empanada: which is high praise from the especially picky foody. I didn’t get a chance to try their pies, but the price was reasonable, and they are the only place in town that uses only Julian apples in their pies!
