Never been to Philly so I can’t compare it to authentic cheese steaks. As far as a tasty sandwich, they serve them up. They have a lot of different sandwiches, so dar my favorite is the cowboy, bacon, bbq sauce, and onion rings can’t go wrong. As well as the regular toppings. Staff is friendly, the seating ok usually get mine to go. Parking sucks, as well as every other business in the shopping mall. Come here every once in a while, and always happy with the food and service.

Sorry but the commercial is crap. The sandwich looks nothing like the one on tv. There’s more meat on a subway. And that says a lot!!! I’ll take my money And hunger down the road. Quit cheating people out of there money… Give them what they pay for!

Not bad, but not really authentic either. Wrong bread, wrong cheese. Decent, but a bit skimpy on the meat. Very unfortunate that no one seems to be able(willing?) to make a real east coast cheese steak around here.

Cheesteaks are something only a few can master. This place is giving it a decent shot but it’s no Philly cheesesteak. But for a Sonoma county shop … It is deliciousness they are doing ok. I’m not a fan of the rolls they use… But the fillings are decent.

I’ve been looking for a decent cheesesteak since I moved from DC to California(notice I excluded philly from that cheesesteak reference because it’s such a mundane thing to be judgmental about). These are spot on. Cheesesteaks have long been my favorite quick bar food, and now I’ve found one worth driving half an hour for. Stop by, get free fries when you check in using Unilocal(why not?).

I love cheese steak sandwiches! This place had a damn good one too. I bought a 15 inch, «The King of the Philly» with med soft drink an curly fries was about $ 15(rounded up). I ate the whole thing in one sitting too. I’ve never been to the east coast, so I can’t compare this philly to any others. I wish there was more meat in the sandwich. It would have been messier but I don’t mind that. But that’s just the fatboy in me talking. Great food. I would eat here more often but the location is out my way.

Pretty darn good Philly. The King of Philly was delicious. The restaurant has photos of authentic Philly cheese steak businesses in Philadelphia. The prices are moderate and the serving size is plentiful. Enjoy!

Had the«king of Philly». It was great!!! Might not be authentic but it’s pretty close. Lots of meat and cheese melted together on the grill. Soft hoagie roll. Food was hot and fresh. The steak fries were a plus. I would normally give this place a 4 ½ but for the price I give it a 5. Good food, good prices, good customer service. Spent $ 11 on a huge sandwich, fries, drink.

My friends rave about this restaurant. When I went there I ordered a cheesesteak, I thought it was Ok. But maybe cheesesteak just isn’t my thing

Okay I am not eating red meat as much these days. No you are confusing me with someone else who wears large sunglasses, hat and trench coat and lurks around the Oliver’s BBQ truck. That guy JUSTLOOKSLIKEME! Seriously though I have gotten a Philly Cheese steak sandwich from there once and absolutely Loved it. Superb concoction on a bun. Lots of steak, cheese, onions, peppers, etc. — absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying it all you carnivores out there in meat eating land. Heck, I might even go back there sometime — that is if I can find my mislaid sunglasses and hat.

It’s no Geno’s or Pats but it’ll do the trick if you live in Santa Rosa Ca and are from South Jersey like I am. They even carry Tasty Cakes.

My girlfriend and I shared a 7″ Classic Philly Cheese Steak and garlic fries as a late afternoon snack before dinner. Our food was cooked to order. After getting our food and biting into the cheese steak, I was immediately disappointed. I wished that the Italian roll was toasted, and I couldn’t really taste the cheese in the cheese steak with the exception of one bite towards the end. I did like the hot peppers that are included though. The garlic fries were definitely no better than the sandwich. They were steak fries with chunks of minced garlic slabbed on top, not even evenly distributed. It looked very oily and the garlic flavor was not cooked into the fries. The two employees in the shop were not very engaging, spending a lot of time gossiping with each other, and they didn’t even greet us. I might give another location a chance but you most likely won’t be finding me here again.

Having eaten authentic philly cheese steaks in Philadelphia, these subs here are substandard. They don’t use whiz cheese here. They overload the subs with way to many onions. I come here maybe 3x a year, thats it, if i m craving a sub.

I, too, am ultimately unconcerned by the issue of authenticity. Sure, I know«cheesesteak» means a particular dish, but who’s to say there’s only one way to make the dish? As far as I’m concerned, if it’s got steak and cheese on a roll, it’s pretty much a cheesesteak. This place goes the extra mile by giving you a bunch of topper options, of which I took full advantage. I ordered the«spinach,» which comes with spinach and mushrooms, and got the hot/sweet peppers and onions on top. Really, really delicious. I also ordered a side of garlic fries and my only real quibble is that they weren’t salted enough. Nice, fresh garlic flavor, though. Staff is super friendly and prices are really decent. Place looked clean, smelled yummy, and for a strip mall chain, I have to say I liked it. Also love the idea of a stamp card(double stamp T/Th? Yeah!) and we’ll be back.

I can’t talk about authenticity but this place is awesome. Nice staff, good food, no complaints here. Definitely a good quick eat around here where honestly there isn’t a lot of cheap good food. People on here are so grumpy sometimes! Just because something is better doesn’t mean this place is bad. Man. Sometimes I think some of the locos on here think it’s their job. Loosen up.

Not even close to authentic. Not even close to a good cheese steak. I’m not even sure what this thing is, they’re serving. The place has an odd(non-food) odor and the sandwiches are sloppily put together. Sorry kids, save your stomach and head to Phat Philly off Valencia Street(on 24th) in SF. You’ll see what I’m talking about.
