Juice Shack

…I love this place. It’s a really small but clean establishment, and they’ve got so many fresh and healthy options for juice! I got one of their green juices, and it was deceivingly delicious for something that was mainly made out of vegetables and a little bit of fruit juice.
Honestly, I think I prefer this location a lot more than places like Jamba Juice, and the prices seem reasonable to me, so that’s also a plus! There’s also free self-​serve lemon/​cucumber water there if you’d like. Hopefully I’ll be able to stop by again sometime to try some of their other options! Their pretzels looked tempting…

I do enjoy myself a smoothie from Juice Shack now and then. However, recently they have made some changes in regards to price, options, management and overall establishment. The prices have skyrocketed through the roof and the cups no longer display the Juice Shack brand, but instead a plain plastic cup. Juice Shack no longer is trying to brand their name and create loyal customers, but instead push them away. Not to mention, their employees always seem to be very unhappy with their work environment, primarily the management. I do hope they pull themselves out of this downward spiral and hire an individual with integrity and basic customer and employee service skills to bring back what Juice Shack once was.

My smoothie didn’t seems right. It was too watery. The place was clean and the girls who worked there were nice. However, I might be getting my juice else where.

Great for grabbing whatcha need. Pleasant employee was happy to see me. The area this Juice Shack is in, I don’t think many people would rather drink healthy. Parking lot is always full & crowded, just wish it was in a better shopping center.

I love Juice Shack and I have always had a good experience with this particular one. (: So refreshing and delicious!

First… my healthy haze is delicious!
More importantly, Ashley and Hannah at the store next to Trader Joe’s in the shopping center are AMAZING young ladies. They stood up to a group of jerky jerks that were being rude to myself and two other young ladies. It takes courage and strength to do that and I applaud them for it!
Now…back to my delicious drink! :-)

Good options and prices.
Every time we have been in here the employees are nice and super efficient.
Fast service and the smoothies taste great.
Clean location, too.
The man always gets the peanut butter one and LOVES it.
I always get one of the fruit smoothies… I’ve loved every one I have tried.

I used to be all about Jamba Juice but Juice Shack is right by my new apartment I thought I would give it a try. Went in before work and I was the only customer. The girl behind the counter was super helpful. I asked a ton of questions since I had never been and she answered all of them the best she could. She smiled and was happy the whole time. My juice ended up delicious and well worth the price. Much better quality then Jamba Juice. I will be back for sure!

This is a fairly well done Juice shack. The staff is friendly and very fast. I work near by and always enjoy the friendly staff

Awesome smoothies! (sorry, but I’ve never tried anything but the smoothies, I find a menu item I like and/​or doesn’t scare me and I stick with it. Wheat-​grass juice? Tomato? uh, no thanks.)
You can order any smoothie non-​dairy, which is a big deal for me and my lack of a functioning lactose friendly digestive system. You get a free addition or boost or whatever it is called, so it’s at least keeping up with Jamba Juice. I like this place better. Jamba juice is way across town and half the time I order the same thing and it come back with different flavors. Juice shack so far is consistent. Also it’s pretty clean, I’ve never been disgusted by the hygiene of the people who work here. And they have pretzels!
I like sour or tart smoothies, if you do I recommend the Lemon Twistaberry. Juice Shack, I wish you would bring back the Papaya Pleasure, you took it off the menu in 2008, then I moved away. Now I’m back and it hasn’t returned. Please? Or is it a seasonal thing and I have just missed it every season you have it available?
I think there is some sort of arcade machine by the door to keep you busy, but they make the drinks so fast I never have time to play it.

Great fresh vegetable juices

I reviewed the Juice Shack on Mendocino Ave. This location is new and clean. The staff is nice as well. I tried the THE FERTILIZER JUICE and it is delicious! I had it today for the first time and I want another one already.

Like my other review on Juice Shack. it’s pretty much a local twist on the Jamba Juice industry… with some better options, as well as local flair.
During the summer, they offer what’s called a «Watermelon Warrior» which is watermelon juice, raspberry sherbet, and strawberries blended together with ice to form one simple, yet delicious smoothie. That’s my favorite at least on the menu.
