I be grudgingly awarded a third star, after my prior comments regarding their two star rating. Tonight our meal was OK, not good not bad, but not worth more than three stars & no less than three stars. I must admit the food this excellent although my comments regarding small portions still stands. There are at least five Thai restaurants in the area that are better. The only reason we went to Thai Taste tonight was that it was in the neighborhood.

Authentic Thai food for sure! The pumpkin curry and pad Thai are the best here! If you’re feeling adventurous, order the Yellow Noodle Soup with prawns or chicken. That dish will change your life!!!

Jesus, this was the most disappointing Thai food I’ve ever had. I ordered pad Thai with prawn, and the flavor was bland. Not a hint of spice in the dish, and all seasonings and flavores were muted. The flavor of the prawn and the garnishes over powered any hint of that delicious flavor we seek out in good pad Thai. Basically the dish tasted like raw noodles with veggies and egg in it. Disappointing

I finally tried this place because it is close to my house; what a disappointment it turned out to be. They don’t have sticky rice. The massaman curry was mediocre. The fresh rolls tasted surprisingly unfresh because they were made with a weird wrapper. I don’t even think it was rice, but either way it was all wrong. It had a spongy texture and looked suspiciously like a wrapper that was meant to be fried. Definitely NOT your standard rice wrappers. What more can I say? On to the next!

Delicious and great and quick service! The pad Thai is delicious; we gobbled it all up. The masaman curry was delicious as well. I like it more here than other restaurants because there is a variety of fresh, perfectly cooked(still slightly crisp and not mushy) veggies that I can enjoy.

During our stay at the Flamingo we ate at Thai taste for 2 meals, the soup was bland, we ordered 5 dishes between the 2 meals all the dishes were ok quality and cooked quickly, it was a nice change from hotel food but coud come up a notch in flavor, the fried banana was very well done.

Avoid this place. Had some curry for lunch yesterday and was up all last night throwing up and other horrible things. Soooo sick. Go somewhere else

This is a favorite go-to spot for our family when we’re in the mood for Thai. The food is good, the service is pleasant and swift, and you really can’t go wrong anywhere on the menu. Our plan next time is to go hungry and just eat a big plate of the pineapple fried rice. But it doesn’t seem like we’d be able to skip the yellow curry(flavorful and mildly spicy), or the green curry with prawns(more spicy and seriously delicious), or the excellent Tom Kha soup. So our plan is probably destined to fail. We’ll have to get as much of what’s on the menu as our consciences will allow.(We call it grocery shopping.)

Thai Taste did not disappoint. I had the Cashew Nut Noodles with Chicken for lunch — it was a perfect lunch portion and had a really good taste. I asked them to substitute the half & half for Almond milk in my Thai Iced Tea, super good! I tried the online ordering process and that was just confusing. Call your order in.

Hands down the best Thai food in town! In fact my favorite Thai food I’ve ever had! Great prices, lovely staff and amazing food!

My first visit with the family was 4 stars. Then we visited the place for the second time and it was not up to par. The sampler appetizer was overcooked. The cashew noodles were very greasy. The panang curry did not cut it. The pineapple fried rice had too much curry powder, not a dash as described on the menu. Totally disappointing!

Good food, well prepared and with fresh ingredients. The prices are fair for what you get and the service is very friendly and efficient. Likely, the best part about this restaurant is the ambiance. It is dimly lit(but not gloomy) and quiet. It is a great place to have a conversation with a friend or to go on a date. While there is some traffic, it is never very crowded. I guess I am defeating my own purpose by writing this because word will get out and then it will be more crowded. So, uh, yeah, don’t go there. Don’t. Leave the place for me and my wife. JK. :)

I had much higher expectations. Thai food is supposed to be bursting with flavor but this place was really bland. Although my dish had a nice presentation, the chicken in my dish had a really bizarre texture and taste. tough and almost fishy. The coconut soup was not good either. On the bright side, the spring roll appetizer was alright. The interior was really outdated/dark and also hot/stuffy. The service was really nice and the waitress was really friendly at least. Unfortunately I will not return.

We stopped in for an early dinner Tuesday 3÷5÷14. Bottom line, great food and very good service. We ordered primarily from the special board: the appetizer sampler special, Duck Hot Basil, supplementing that with Tom Yom Soup and brown rice. The appetizer plate was very good, two Chicken Satay, two fried spring rolls, two fried shrimp and a small salad. The two sauces(one for fried items and one for the satay) were outstanding additions. The amount of spiciness was perfect for us(your mileage may vary) building as we enjoyed the plate. The Small we shared Tom Yom soup was flavorful and delicious. A little different that what we have experienced in the past, a bit lighter, but not a disappointment. The highlight of the evening was the Duck Hot Basil, bite sized pieces of perfectly cooked duck in a wonderful Hot Basil curry with vegetables. Service was very good from a young fellow on this his first day with a very nice attentive pro waitress as backup. He’s got some«learnin» to do being his first day at all, but he struck just the right balance of eagerness and attentiveness. If he didn’t know the answer to a question, he quickly asked his manager and relayed it back. We’ll be back!

First Off — I ordered online and when I got there they had no idea there was an online order… hmmmmmmmmmmm. But it only took 10 minutes — I ordered the Scallops and Red Curry which cost me $ 15 bucks. $ 15 Bucks — how much should you get for 15 Bones is the real question here. Yes the food was good — there were ‘enough’ bay(small) scallops — barely. I like the bit of heat, a small kick — certainly not like you would get at an authentic place — but it is Santa Rosa. By looking at the people in the dining room I’m pretty sure most of them were looking for mild not wild. Still — 15 bucks isn’t cheap for Thai Food — The young lady kept asking me if I wanted something with it? what would I want — oh, no rice is served with it — that’s odd. How much does Rice cost that you don’t serve it with your 15 dollar meal. Are you starting to get my obsession with this 15 buckaroons. I get it home and make my own damned rice — the smallish white box is wrapped in plastic — good — I open it up and the 3 inch box is filled HALFWAY to the top. What? NO Rice and Half of a small box for most of a twenty spot. UHHHHNO. Maybe I’ll go back and try some other stuff — fact is Sea Thai nearby is delicious and you get MUCHMORE for the same money. They also had a nice kick in their food with ‘see-able’ thai chili’s.

I don’t really want to give this only 3 starts, but it wasn’t the best Thai experience I’ve had… even though I heard from friends they were great. My sister and I came here for dinner. There wasn’t a lot of people but for some reason it took quite a while to order or even get water. We started with soup but when that arrived we had no silverware. We were sitting at a table kind of in the corner and it felt like maybe they forgot about us? We ordered a few dishes to share, and considering it’s Thai food we thought we would get our food somewhat quickly, but it took about 25 – 30 minutes before we got our food… again, it wasn’t busy at all. The food was okay. Pretty fresh and good flavor but the curry was so «watery» that it was a bit disappointing. The spicy rice was great and the Thai iced tea was tasty. Nice staff, and a comfortable setting but overall was not really impressed with the food as I thought I would be, but it wasn’t terrible or anything. I would give them another try but there’s a few other Thai places that I would go to first.
