Remy’s Bar & Grill

I have been going with a group for meetings to this place for the past couple years. I have never been impressed with the food, décor or service. It’s like the servers have had no training (they don’t know the menu or how to fill a water glass or how to remove finished plates or even how to bring the correct check!) Also the interior is just gross with peeling walls and junky furniture that I wouldn’t even put in my garage.
So a couple months ago it became my job to organize a meeting. I called Remy’s FOUR different times — each time talking to a young female who said she would give the manager a message about a reservation. Why can’t a hostess take a simple reservation? Anyway, I never received a call back. EVER! I also messaged them through Facebook with no response. So we started meeting at a local pizza place instead. SEE YA REMYS!

Great place to go to relax and sit on the patio by the water. The owner is awesome but the servers are not the most attentive… they have a great happy hour!

I have been here for a few reasons. We have a monthly meeting for work here and I have been here with friends.
Work meetings: They are very accommodating when we put together many tables and chairs. They also are awesome for giving us separate checks without us even asking (and we would ask). That being said, the service isn’t great — there is usually only one server and they come to our table very infrequently. It also takes forever to get the check.
Personal visits: I usually sit on the patio when I’m with friends and I haven’t had any issues at all.
The food is always good! The happy hour prices and options are the best!!!
I really like this place! They seem to be in a constant state of construction — I can’t wait for that to be finished! The bathrooms also need A LOT of work!

All day Sunday Happy Hour makes it a good spot to watch football. Happy Hour menu is great but wish I could say the same about the service. I can’t blame the waitresses because it’s a staffing issue. They are very understaffed. I’ve seen people leave due to lack of service. I even gave them a heads up once as I was bringing a large group but they didn’t take that into consideration. obviously management doesn’t care. Too bad, it really has such potential. But, it’s a great value so I guess that’s why people keep going back.

Great good, great prices and an amazing happy hour menu. Plus Sunday’s have all day happy hour.

I’ve gone here several times after work for Happy Hour with some work friends. Overall the atmosphere is nice, the food is good and cheap and the alcohol is decently priced. The only down side, which makes this place 3 stars is the service. Wait staff are hard to come by here and we usually wait a significant time to be greeted, for refills, and of course, for our check.
The staff are nice but they really don’t appear busy enough to justify the lack of attention. Still, we go back because of the cheap, quality food and drinks.

Still a great place close to home for good happy hour food & cocktails. And we love Audrey! Terrific bartender, waitress, server… she does it all & with a smile!

For a place that claims to be known for burgers, it’s a travesty they served what they did today. How difficult is it to do a medium rare burger? Oh wait! It’s not.
The worst part was not that it was overcooked — it was the burnt blackened bits of charred and blistered remnants left over on the grill surface from some previously scalded items that glommed onto our burger to give it that lovely scorched flavor and made it smell like cauterized surgical mistakes that really put the burger over the top.
Let’s be honest guys. A burger place you are not. You’re in the heart of Sonoma County where we have the freshest meats and vegetables available in the country and serving that branded, singed poor meat patty was a waste of a cow’s life. Should we even go there about the winter tomato? It should’ve stayed on the vine another couple weeks. Organic? Probably not.
Oh and one last thing. If you want to be a sports bar then be a sports bar. At least have multiple games on your various TV’s instead of every TV playing the same mundane commentary of last night’s game.
Here’s my challenge to you Remy’s. Step up your game and serve quality burgers that will make people want to come back. Lackluster food will not help you survive here in Sonoma County. I’ll even follow you on Facebook and here on Unilocal to see if your reviews improve. If they do I’ll give you another try. Before I do though please, please clean off your grill throughout the day. No pressure …

Very Fine courteous, Up To Date, Clean, Smiling, Hosting. Great food. I’m always ordering the Cheviot. I always order the Happy Hour cheap stuff. That stuff does not taste like Happy Hour food. I recommend this place Big Time. Margaritas are very good.

Great food and happy hour but poorly understaffed. It takes forever to be acknowledged and you’ll have to search for a wait staff because they disappear for long periods of time (this would be taken care of if they hired enough staff).

also the Jalapeño poppers are delicious.
They do get very very busy and it can be hard to find a spot to have a seat especially when there is a game going on. Otherwise its a great spot to have a drink, a small bite with there Happy Hour menu and if you are hungry there are also Remy’s large salads and burgers are sure to fill you up.
It is also nice that they have outdoor seating available.

I love going to Remy’s — I’ve only been there for larger events, but they cook solid meals and their portions are extremely generous.
I’ve had their taco bar which is amazing — but recently had their BBQ — I loved their pulled pork.
The atmosphere is awesome and so is the stuff. There’s a lot of people who go for happy hour — I recommend checking it out!

This is one of the best places for happy hour! Everything is very inexpesive and tastes amazing! Everything I have eaten here has been great, and the people that work here are super friendly. The other things on their menu are also worth trying; a lot of sandwiches and burgers. If the weather is nice, sit on their patio and listen to the fountains :)

We we have stopped at this place ongoingly for the last few years. It has a very good, scratch that, excellent, happy hour menu based on Mexican food appetizers and is an incredible value. The rest of the menu is typical pub fare but offers great value and quality food. The wait staff is excellent, friendly and attentive, focused on serving customers. The owner typically checks on tables to make sure patrons are enjoying their experience.
Several monitors keep tabs on the local sports teams.
Offering indoor and outdoor seating, it’s great to watch the geese and ducks in the pond adjacent to the restaurant.
It’s a great place to unwind after work or meet with friends and family on any occasion.

Went there last night it is a good place to have sum drinks and get your groove on nd the DJ was awsome played great music it’s a younger crowd but had a great time

Went for happy hour. Good Mexican bites. Someone that I was with put it perfectly, «Healthy» Mexican food (I guess as healthy as it can get). Everything tasted fresh and delicious.
Im sure we will be back.

I really wanted to like this place, it’s so close to my house…
Went there for appetizers and cocktails on a Friday evening. The service was EXCELLENT, 2 super nice waitress’s working the outside tables. My dislike has nothing to do with the staff, instead it was the cleanliness, or LACK of cleanliness. All of the glass doors and windows were disgustingly filthy, looked like they haven’t been cleaned in months. Everywhere you look is glassed, and a 10 minute cleaning with some Windex would have been so simple. Same for the mirrors in the hallway that leads to the restrooms. The silverware had stains on it and I had to clean my knife before I used it. Uck! Makes me wonder how clean the kitchen is being kept, if the outside is so filthy. The restrooms weren’t any better and really need some help, paint maybe?
While I can’t complain about the food (although it was just ok) and service, the Cosmo I had tasted like a pre-​mix, maybe it was, but chances are slim to none I’ll be back here anytime soon.
Please clean up the place! It could really be a fun place to go to on a Friday afternoon after work… but it needs some attention…

We had a great late lunch here. The food was fresh and really presented beautifully, a nice surprise from a «bar.» We sat outside by the lake and enjoyed the sunny weather.
Our service was very good. I can’t really complain about anything except the outside patio would be great with some house sound. I has the chicken taco salad and my fiancé had the chicken nachos. Both dishes were huge (we will share next time)!
We plan to go back at night and have some cocktails. Seems like a fun place to hang out.
