We were not sure if we wanted to try this restaurant or not after reading some of the reviews; however, we thought that we would go ahead and try it. Soooo glad we did!!! We stopped for breakfast this morning and there were so many great items on the menu that we had a hard time picking something. I selected the Ortega Chili omelet and my wife had the grilled cheese(yes it is not typical breakfast fare, but she loves grilled cheese sandwiches). Anyway both of our meals were delicious … the grilled cheese was one of the best we have ever had and the omelet was nothing to sneeze at. Service was quick, attentative, and courteous and the prices were more than reasonable. I know we will be back.

The staff is awesome, the menu is huge & the food is excellent. My only negative feedback is that the French fries & breakfast potatoes are awful. The ones they serve are more«natural» «healthy?» and tasteless, making them difficult to eat. Kind of like a bigger version of In n out fries. If they changed the way they cook the fries/potatoes, I would give it 5 stars.

We were looking for somewhere to eat close to our hotel. Food wasn’t that great. Took forever to get waited on. There was a older gentlemen working who wasn’t the friendliest. Had biscuits and gravy. Gravy was too watery no flavor. Biscuits didn’t taste fresh and we’re dry.

This is the perfect spot to go afterba long day at the JC, I love their burgers here and their breakfast is phenomenal. The service is always great and Lita is a sweet heart. The menu has a very large selection of breakfast foods, burgers, sandwhiches, salads, and dinner plates. The price is very fair and the food will always leave you satisfied. I highly recommend coming here for breakfast and/or lunch.

Only thing holding me back from 5 stars, is I have not tried lunch or dinner here. The breakfast is the best in town. I know some people like Sam’s or Piner café, but they can not match the breakfast at Litas. First, thing is the gravy! Bacon gravy that is, I know no other place in Santa Rosa that does that. My go to dish is the chicken fried steak. Absolutely delicious. Breaded and fried just right. Of course topped with bacon gravy. You can’t go wrong with the biscuits and gravy. The staff is always friendly. Even on a busy day the place is always clean. I don’t think I will even think of eating breakfast anywhere else is Santa Rosa. I had breakfast at Litas this morning, and will be back tomorrow.

A great little dinner in Santa Rosa. Came in with the family for brunch and we all had a great time. The host was very accommodating and put a few tables together for us. We were seated right away. All of our food came out quick and it was super tasty!

This little hole in the wall café was so relish! We ordered omletts and hash brown. The omletts had just the right amount of meat and cheese. The hash browns were good… I would have liked them just a bit more crunchier. The service was fast and quick. Beautiful patio. Relaxing.

We’ve been here for breakfast a number of times. First discovered it from other Unilocal reviews while looking for places to go for breakfast after moving to Santa Rosa. The food here is great, the prices are fair, the service accommodating, and the menu is extensive. Unlike some places, they’ll give you what you want, like 2 eggs instead of 3 in your omelet or fruit instead of potatoes. And you can build your own omelet or scramble with a wide choice of ingredients. Our most recent visit was the weekend of the balloon festival. We had family visiting and after an early morning watching balloons in Windsor, we came to Lita’s. Breakfast on the patio was delicious and surprisingly pleasant. Given the location in a strip mall, you wouldn’t expect such a good experience. We will continue to go back.

Very clean place and good service. I had eggs Benedict and I am sad to say it was a let down. Fake hollandaise sauce out of a can or something. For a huge eggs Benedict fan like my self that was a huge letdown. Like I said the place was clean and staff nice so I might give them another try but not eggs Benedict. My wife was happy with her biscuits and gravy.

We discovered this little spot in a strip mall last year on Unilocal. We were looking for an inexpensive hardy breakfast before going out to wine tastings. We enjoyed so much we went twice that visit and returned on this trip. The place is nothing fancy, just very tidy and clean. She serves the usual fare for breakfast– the hubby enjoys the large omelette and hash browns he gets for the price of a Starbucks. I like that you can get smaller portions– my single fluffy pancake and a sausage patty is plenty. Service is friendly and you coffee cup is never empty. In the future we may have to try her lunches.

Lita’s is a pretty good little breakfast spot when you want some decent food for little money. I don’t think I’ve had occasion to eat lunch here, but I would certainly do so if I found myself in the vicinity. The latest breakfast I had here was the biscuits and gravy and they most certainly didn’t disappoint. They make some tasty bacon gravy. That’s right, bacon! Grab a fresh squeezed orange juice to go along with your breakfast. While I don’t have the menu in front of me to quote prices, most breakfast plates here will set you back $ 6 – 10. That’s pretty amazing these days.

Update: Since Lita’s is no longer serving dinner later when we are available, Lita’s will have to be retired as our«go to» place for dinners. Maybe we can get there once in a while for breakfast or lunch. Lita’s has become our«go to» place to grab a bite. The menu is extensive so if you just don’t know exactly what you feel like having, you’re sure to get an idea from flipping through the menu. The last time for us, we each got a «hot plate». Mine was roast beef and my wife’s was meat loaf. The food was hot(which seems to have become quite an issue with other places we have visited) and tasted great. The sauteed vegetables were done just right. We have not been disappointed! The large menu selection is one of the features that keeps us coming back! There will always be a selection to please any particular mood or taste.

My gym partner and I decided to refuel ourselves with some grub at Litas’s, after an early morning gym session. We were greeted promptly upon entering and were asked if we wanted water. We proceeded to order a orange juice($ 1.60) and a Coco-Cola($ 2.10). After 10 minutes of deliberation through Lita’s expansive menu, I ordered the SOS and my buddy ordered the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict. My SOS($ 7.95) was ground beef smothered with country gravy on top of your choice of toast and a side of eggs. I really liked the meal and thought it was cooked flawlessly. I would appreciate it more though if they added an other piece of toast, because two pieces just isn’t enough for a grown man, such as myself. My buddy loved his Crab Cake Egg’s Benedict($ 10.95). I didn’t take a bite out of it, but I trust his word. Service was attentive and the ambiance of the whole restaurant was really calming. I love them for playing the radio country station in their restaurant! Lita’s Café expansive menu consists of burgers, sandwiches, salads and other miscellaneous items. Definitely give them a try, you won’t be disappointed..

$ 13 prime rib blew me away! I was not expecting that type of taste and quality for that price. It was juicy, tender, and cooked perfectly right. Comes with two sides(mashed potatoes, vegetables, etc.). I would definitely come back just for the prime rib. Soup of the day and carne asada fries were fine. A small town sit-down with extremely friendly waitresses and home-style setting. Prices are right for an economical restaurant.

After wine tasting at a local winery in Santa Rosa, my friends and I were looking for a place to eat a little something. So we decided to come here, especially since you could check in on Unilocal and get 10% off! When we came in and looked at the menu, I was kind of surprised at how extensive the menu was which was good. Also, everything ranged between $ 5-$ 10, which was pretty cheap in my opinion. Since my friend and I weren’t hungry, we shared Chili Cheese fries, while my other friends got the Prime Rib and a bowl of soup. The Chili Cheese fries I thought were alright, nothing special, as I’ve had better. When my friend’s Prime Rib came, I was surprised at how big the portion sizes were. For $ 12, it was definitely a good deal. My friends really liked the Prime Rib, but I thought it was alright. Overall, I think the service really bumped it up to a 4 star restaurant for me. The servers here were very friendly. Plus, for the amount we paid and the amount of food we got, I think it was definitely worth it.
