Best donuts I’ve had in a long long time! I arrived early on a Sunday morning. Some of what I purchased was still warm. Great service, I was in and out in no time.

Not impressed whatsoever! Read the reviews and was excited to bring the apple fritters to work. Arrived at 6:55am and asked for apple fritters only to be told they didn’t have any ready and I would have to wait 15 minutes… I don’t have 15 minutes to wait when I’m on my way to work! I ordered chocolate old fashioned donuts instead. My co-workers thought they were ok but since I just had donuts the weekend before from Donut Café and Loved them– the donuts from Crystals were nasty! The film of grease on my palate was a rancid taste– no thanks! I’ll go back to Donut Café next time I need to bring donuts to work. DONOTRECOMMEND!!!

The staff are super friendly and cheerful, and the food is just great. I can get a huge burger, some fries, and a drink for about ten bucks. They’re also a very diverse little diner. Where else can you get won ton chicken, a double bacon cheeseburger, and donuts under one roof? I cant think of any other place I would rather go than Crystal’s to get good food, great service, and friendly customers to chat with over a donut.

I love the donuts, but go early if you want an apple fritter!!! Simple coffee shop items, good prices, and nice people serving you! Thank you! I will come again.

The donut holes, the cinnamon twist sand rolls are THEBEST in Santa Rosa — bar none. Always light, sweet and just the right texture. They’ll customize them for you too. Go for the moon, get the donut holes chocolate dipped. Savor those chocolate and maple bars, heck, have them with custard centers! Crystal’s will satisfy every time. And the owners are really really sweet and take great care of their regulars.

My review is basically for the old fashioned glazed donuts that you get right when they open and are fresh and warm! They also have good coffee. Great service, AMAZING donuts. I am dying to go back and try more donuts! They also serve Chinese food and other savory items.

This place is alright– the most appealing factor is that it’s right across the street from my apartment, so convenience is a huge plus. It’s also next to Whole Foods and other stores, so you can go grocery shopping right afterwards! I came here on two occasions: 1) to get donut holes and 2) to get breakfast before a flight. The donut holes were quite delicious, but the breakfast was disappointing. It’s unfortunate that they don’t mix and match certain things(like instead of hashbrowns, sausage patties). This breakfast was something I could’ve made at home, and it didn’t fill me up. Not cool. I probably won’t come here for food itself, but donuts instead. Whenever a craving for donuts come, I’ll walk over to this place. If you’re a donut fan, I suggest coming in the morning when all the donuts are freshly made. It’s not the most crackin’ lackin’ place, but it’s cute in that it’s a mom and pop shop trying to survive amongst bigger chains and restaurants.

Great service, great prices, quick and easy. The customer service is refreshing. My fiancé always gets the teriyaki plate, I love the breakfast bagel and donuts!

the freshest doughnuts you can get! My personal favorite breakfast entrée is a fried egg sandwhich,(over medium) with xtra ham on a english muffin. It never gets old…

This place has amazing donuts! Went here at 5 o’clock this morning and I’m glad I did. The owners are quirky and made me laugh with their playful banter between themselves and other customers. The blueberry cheesecake fritter was sugared music on my palate. Warm and soft with a slight candied-like crust, I highly recommend trying this pastry. In fact, all of my pastry choices were some of the best donuts in town. Each rounded with a sweet buttery batter, and each spotted with various apple, chocolate and blueberry flavors. I’ve read other comments about the dated décor, but this isn’t a fine dining pastry place. Behind me in line looked like the entire produce department of Whole Foods, coffee mugs in hand, waiting on hot coffee. The two owners handled customers with experienced efficiently. Will come back again when the baby wakes up for an early morning feeding… which is tending to happen every morning.

This unassuming Mom n Pops greasy spoon is so full of charm you can’t help but fall in love with the cheap décor and plastic ambience. With a true«Ready to Serve» attitude they take your order with a smile at the counter, and whether you are getting the basic breakfast, a burger, or one of their delicious donuts(the freshest I have found in Santa Rosa) you can be sure you will get your money’s worth. What they lack in sparkle they make up for in price and quality, making Crystal’s Corner a return destination in Sonoma county.

Oh, it does break my heart a little to rate this place as mediocre, but the«Chinese» food, the dusty room and donuts are pretty bad. I ate the chow mein noodles. Mushy, slimey, a few little strips of chicken thigh meat accompanied by a few florettes of broccoli. The old fashioned maple syrup coated donut was hardly better. Tasted like old safflower oil. The room is completely made of formica, a la 1968. Everything feels like it’s coated with a thin layer of grease. Check my photo of the big parrot trio fabric poster that hangs on the wall here. I made it in 1977, gave it to Goodwill in 1985 when I moved outt’a Santa Rosa. The owner probably bought it there for $ 1. It hasn’t been dusted since then. The owner is a cheerful, truly nice guy. I’m sure that’s how this place has survived for so many years. ‘Cause it ain’t on the tastiness of the food. Dive alert!

Donuts, donuts, donuts is all these reviews talk about. I hate donuts but I like good coffee and croissants. Tasty croissants at half the price of most places in town, excellent coffee and they are ready to roll at 5AM! That’s right FIVE in the morning. When you have to get going early(or coming home late) this is the best spot in town.

This place is in desperate need of a face lift. It isn’t dirty but it is extremely cluttered and out dated. The place seems to get a pretty steady flow of people. There is some seating inside but it is very basic. It definitely feels more like a doughnut shop than a restaurant. However, the owner is extremely friendly, the food is fine, and the prices are good. I have had the burger and the teriyaki plate. The burger is a good simple diner burger. The vegetables are fresh and crisp, the meat is moist, and the bun is soft. The fries and onion rings are almost certainly mass produced and frozen. The fries are better than the onion rings. The teriyaki plate was just ok. The sauce is much too sweet. The vegetables again looked(e.g. crinkle cut carrots), tasted, and had the texture of frozen vegetables. The rice was a little on the mushy side. If you are in the area and want some cheap and decent food served by a friendly person than go here. I have not tried the doughnuts but they do look good.

The people that run the place are very nice and down to earth. I like that it gives that kind of neighborhood burger place vibe. Their burgers are extremely tasty as well. Haven’t tried the donuts but their cheeseburgers are definitely something to be proud of. Super delicious, great service and cool vibe! Great job guys!

Dinners are the best kept secret in Santa Rosa. Try the Chicken Teriyaki! Relaxed, local hang-out…sit with high-schoolers, business folks, school moms and retires all talking up a storm… fun place to be!

The donuts are great but I’m here to talk about«breakfast». There are a hundred places in this town where one may acquire the first meal of the day, but none like this. Are you oppressed by the plethora of menu choices at iHOP? Do you flounder in confusion over the omelette options at Mac’s? Despair no more! At Crystal’s you have none of these dizzying choices to make. «Breakfast» is two eggs — any style, two slices of toast — your preference, two slices of bacon and a hash brown. The hash browns taste pretty much like their hamburgers, probably because both frozen patties are fried on the same grill, and the bacon won’t be done quite right, but you won’t mind in the least because it was served by the happiest little folks you’ll ever meet and they charged you less than five bucks for it. Really, there’s no better deal anywhere and you’ll feel like you’re contributing to a living example of the American Dream.
