I went here expecting to get a delicious meal. Based on the reviews I thought I would be impressed. I was not impressed. The service was OK. But the food was terrible. It took a very long time I talk in 45 minutes. It was bland and had no flavor. Maybe they’re having an off night who knows…

My friend and I were in the mood for pizza. I googled the«best pizza in Santa Rosa» and Cibo is what was recommended. I spent 30 years in New York and the pizza in NY is my standard. I have tried almost every pizza places in Santa Rosa and have been disappointed so I wasn’t expecting such an amazing pizza. I can’t say enough about the owner, who is a lovely gentleman who was attentive and pleasant. The pizza was wonderful. Cooked perfectly and obviously all the ingredients were prepared in house. Perfect amount of sauce, cheese and the crust was perfection. This will now be my go to place for pizza. The appetizer,(grilled veggies) was amazing, and the wine was superior. The atmosphere is cozy with outdoor seating. I would certainly recommend Cibo to everyone!!! As good as it gets!!!

Fantastic mix of food and wine. Ray the owner is a very nice and thoughtful man. The pizzas and salads are great! Nothing I would change about this place.

AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME! Dined at Cibo’s last night-first time. I’m a wood oven pizza fanatic, and Cibo’s pizza is among the best I’ve had. We also have samplings of many other items on the menu and it was all outstanding. Ray also makes his own wine, and our table couldn’t get enough of it. In fact, I think we depleted his ’14 vintage. Can’t wait to go back.

We hosted my wife’s birthday dinner there with 6 friends and it was just amazing. You will not find better hospitality than Cibo. Ray is the consummate host. It felt as if we were in his private kitchen and other than the pizzas we ordered, the food just kept coming. Oh, right, the pizza! Excellent Neapolitan wood fired pizza. A true measure of of wood fired pizza joints is how well they execute the signature Margarita pizza. It was spot on and true to style. The added benefit is Ray’s wine from his very own D’Argenzio winery, a perfect compliment to the food. The Grenache Blanc was dry and crisp. Excellent with the«primi.» And the Super Tuscan was perfect with the pizze! We will be back. Thank you Ray and pizza chef extraordinare, Mike

Last night I went to d’Argenzio for a Plant Night. When we were finished we decided that pizza would be a good idea so we crossed the parking lot to discover the best gourmet pizza ever! Long family style tables that allowed plenty of space for our party of six. The food was amazing, the service was friendly and relaxing. There is no doubt in my mind we will be back to this treasure spot.

If you want a family feel… this place treats you like family from the minute you walk in. Ray was so awesome. From the appetizers to the margarita Pizza… everything was amazing… and the grilled veggies are to die for. I loved the pizza crust. They make the pizza to order and everything is so fresh and delicious. Very comfortable atmosphere. We will definitely return soon.

From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were about to eat at a relatives … a good relative. Ray the owner was gracious and assisted us with our order. He was attentive and gracious. Wonderful appetizer, asparagus wrapped peccuto with bread, and a thin crusted margarita pizza … yes, a glass of grenache blanc. We will be back. Thank you, Ray.

Wow! What a fabulous dining experience! First of all, the staff here is truly Italian. I felt like I had been welcomed into a family dinner the moment I walked in. The staff was so friendly and greeted our table with complimentary appetizers right away! We were so impressed with how great the restaurant décor looked and loved the ambiance! Michael was our server and was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered 3 of the pizzas and they were made fresh to order right in front of us. All of them were piping hot and delicious! Our meal was complimented by an amazing Sangiovese and some grilled veggies served fresh from the brick oven! No doubt in my mind that my friends and I will be back :)

As part-time Sonoma County residents, we’ve been looking for a pizza place here and we’ve found it. The thin-crust margherita puzza was divine, cooked over a blazing wood fire, and the wood-fire roasted vegetables were amazing – corn on the cob pieces, peppers, mushrooms, and asparagus. The proprietor greeted us with tastes of red wine and pizza bread. The pours on the glasses of wine were generous. Wines are from nearby wineries and the beers from nearby breweries. All-around an enjoyable dining experience!

I don’t know if I came on an off day or what, but this was probably my worst pizza experience. No, this was my worst pizza experience sadly. We were passing through Santa Rosa and we were hungry. I narrowed it down to two restaurants, Coqui Puerto Rican or Cibo restaurant. We returned from Sicily not too long ago and Cibo’s pictures on Unilocal reminded me of the pizzas there. So we opted for Cibo’s. It was about 4:30 pm on 26 Mar, 2016. I was the only patron there as my wife waited in the car with our two dogs. A lot of reviews raved about their Margherita pizza so that’s what I ordered to-go. I immediately paid for my pizza with $ 20 including tip. While waiting for my pizza, the owner poured me some wine to try. After I finished, he attempted to pour me another. I thanked him, but stopped him from pouring another as I informed him that I still had about a three and a half hour drive home. He was really nice, hence the three stars. It only took about 10 minutes for my pizza to come out. It only took about 30 seconds to walk to my car. We immediately opened the box and it looked great. I naturally took a pic for Unilocal.I then attempted to pick up a slice and it was a soggy, mushy, limp mess. It was only a couple minutes after coming from the oven. The only part of the pizza that was hard was the crust. All of the ingredients slid off the pizza. I could not even fold it the traditional way. I had to take the pointed end of the slice and fold it towards the crust twice just to be able handle it enough to take a bite. It was like eating uncooked pizza dough, which it probably was. I wanted to return it so bad, but the owner was so nice. The pizza’s flavor was underwhelming. The tomato sauce was bland; as well as the crust. The buffalo mozzarella was of good quality, but I couldn’t taste the basil. We obviously didn’t finish the pizza. Even if I lived closer, I probably wouldn’t try Cibo’s again.

Came here on a Wednesday night for a paint nite event. Ordered a margarita pizza for $ 16 and a Stella $ 6. A little pricey for pizza but SO worth the authentic flavor.

Hospitality at its best. This place is absolutely amazing. We were welcomed with open arms and a little vino and treated like gold. The crust of the pizzas is perfect and tasty and the ingredients are fresh. We had an overwhelmingly wonderful dining experience during Restaurant Week 2016 that has made my husband and I question why we have never been here before. Roasted vegetables, cheese, wine, pizza… Bring an empty stomach and open heart and you will LOVE this place. My husband and I have been a fan of D’Argenzio wines for a long time but we will continue to return for amazing pizza, laid back atmosphere, and impeccable family like customer service. This is what people mean when they talk about«when you are here, you are family!»

Gave it a try for lunch. A bit on the pricey side for lunch. I got the Margarita pizza. It was very oily for some reason. I did enjoy the atmosphere. And the music. But the food just didn’t do it for me. I have been to a lot of wood fired pizza joints in my time, and this does not rank very high in my book…

So, in our ongoing search of pies Cibo has definately raised the bar! Tonight’s pesto sausage delight was truly a gift. With the house-made sausage, italian caputo flour based dough, packed with fresh mushrooms and the pinenut pesto sauce, Frank, Dino, and all the classics playing in the background, Cibo has officially been added to our to-go places for rustic, firewood oven pizzas(like, is there any other kind?) …oh, and fyi«Cibo» is italian for #foodie Love this place! A hidden jewel in our town.

«…but there’s no cheese on the pizza?» That was my reaction when our spicy pepperoni pie arrived at the table. Hesitantly, I took a bite, then another… and three slices later… didn’t miss the cheese at all! Cibo was empty but in all fairness, it was 3:30pm on a Wednesday and they were preparing for a large(40ish) party. The décor was simple, as was the menu, and the atmosphere was quite relaxed. Depending on your personality, this can be a good thing or not. For us, «relaxed» is what we needed after a day of wine tasting. The grease from the pepperoni was likely the reason the bottom was so charred but overall, hubby and I both liked the crust and the sauce. Actually, unlike some other reviewers, we really liked the sauce. So, would I return? Maybe. We are still trying to find the perfect wood-fired pizza in Sonoma County.

I saw the comment about not driving to Geyserville and so had to try this place out. Pizza would rank as one of my favorites, the thin crust is delicious. salads were yummy and the veggies so fresh. Owner Mr. D’argenzio was our host and most attentive and great conversation. Love this place, will be back.
