Excellent pizzas. Ingredients are fresh and pizza dough is yummy. I’ve ordered twice and pizzas arrive earlier than expected. Good staff on the phone and it was nice to be able to order directly from the Unilocal app. Highly recommended.

Now, I will start by saying I have never been inside upstairs — I’ve only ordered take-out and I’ve only been drinking at the bar downstairs. Based on take-out experience I love this place! Santa Rosa has super limited take out food options and when we found out Joeys delivered to our area we decided to try them out. This is now our go-to delivery pizza joint. We typically get the Verdict –large–(Pesto sauce, sausage, olives, bacon, garlic, mushrooms and artichoke). The large size is HUGE. It’s a great deal for the price. The quality is great, it is always hot and fresh when it arrives. There’s only been one time when the delivery was late and they called us to let us know, which I appreciate, good customer service. We’ve also had the Suzi’s pizza with potato, bacon, green onions and alfredo sauce, which was good, however it reminded me of potatoes au gratin on pizza dough and quite frankly I’d rather just have the potatoes if I am going in that direction. Still good, just not my style for pizza. They did recently change their online ordering webpage and now it is difficult to navigate and not super convenient, they really need someone to check it out and update it to be more user friendly.

Amazing pizza!!! Had the Big Tone… INCREDIBLE pesto! The Aegean reminds me of a margherita pizza. Really friendly and fast service. Definitely coming back.

Simply Ridiculous pizza. The best Pizza in Santa Rosa by a landslide. Massive options. They split specialty pies and make huge specialty slices – no problem. And Im eating a Suzy’s hot potato right now and the crust is literally perfect. Lowkey kinda SR’s best kept pizza-secret

Pizza was burnt! Tasteless, kinda like a frozen pizza. Spoke to another woman at this event she said she will never eat the pizza there! The event we went to was a success!

The pizza was below average. Little sauce almost zero cheese. We had a regular hand tossed pizza. We had sausage, pepperoni, bell peppers, onions and mushrooms. The crust was close to thin crust maybe that’s the style. I’m giving it a 3 stars because delivery was relatively quick and the pesto cheese bread was terrific. The rest of the pie was not impressive at all. I think Pizza Hut or dominos would of been a better choice. I would recommend them to elevate their product especially for a $ 27 pizza…

I signed up for Unilocal simply to say how disappointing this place has become. If I’m going to pay $ 40 for pizza and some bread sticks, I would at least expect the order to be right and fully cooked. Order was almost an hour late, order was wrong and our breadsticks were raw! RAW. This place used to be awesome, but lately is HORRIBLE! I’m done dealing with them. Customer service is awful, food is raw and order will be wrong… And that’s if they even show up! If that’s your thing, this is your place.

Love this place, been here few times and love their spicy eli sandwich. Their Pizza dough is very much New York style hand tossed. :) A huge menu with so many great items to choose from.

HHHHHHORRIBLE. We were in Sonoma for the weekend with friends(watching our boys play college ball!) and were actually referred to this place by one of the hotels. It was absolutely horrible. The joke started off for the evening of how long the food was taking simply to come out… Hey, the guy who referred us must be family or works here part time as well. Hahaha. It started out as a joke, but then became reality. The food took forever to come out. The young girl who was our waitress looked a bit lost or unsure of how to do her job. We get it, she may have been new, no worries. Moving forward. When the food actually did come out it was just nasty. Don’t ask me why, but my husband ordered a hot dog. I think he thought it would come out before the pizza and he could at least get something to the table. The hot dog however comes out pretty much like at Wetzel Pretzels and is wrapped in dough, but not crispy at all… just doughy. We ordered two versions of breadsticks. One was just pepperoni and the other was pepperoni and cheese. The pepperoni one doesn’t have any sauce or anything and it’s just twisted in the dough and taste very much just like… well, dough. The pepperoni and cheese had so much cheese on it that it was greasy and tasted like nothing more than… well, cheese. We ordered two pizzas. Both of which came out so limp and floppy(feel free to insert your pervy jokes here). Soooo, salad. One would tend to think«how hard is it to screw up a salad?»… well apparently it can be done. The salad comes out and it looks fine, but then taking a second look the cheese was nasty and best part… it was dry as a bone! There was absolutely no salad dressing on it! Antipasto salad and no dressing?! $ 91 later… and yeah… need I really say much more? Looking back at the reviews previously before mine I see a photo of cobwebs. Yeah well they haven’t cleaned those since that original post in January. Which made me question… SERIOUSLY, HAVEALLTHEREVIEWERSACTUALLYBEENINSIDE? I found the place to be quite dirty. Even better now you can see the web maker chef himself and in addition… you see his later meals bundled up(flies). BYOF? Bring your own food? LoL

Back in the day I would have 5 starred this joint. New owners ruined it. Last few orders have been all wrong and tasted like dookie. Get your business on track guys because I’m don’t ordering from you and would rather go to Walmart and but totinos pizza than put up with your bullshit product. I won’t even go into detail but you need to reassess what you’re doing. I’m so disappointed I don’t go to the belvedere anymore because I won’t eat your garbage.

I get it. You guys are busy, it’s Saturday night, I wouldn’t expect any different. But you have literally screwed up my order the last 3 times I have called. My wife and I love the food, it’s the weekend and we are having a few beers and we want to eat some grub, so we call Joey’s. We have been ordering delivery for over a year from you guys, but lately… like, do you guys even listen? Very simple orders that are REPEATED back to us, but still show up wrong to our door. It pains me to give you a bad rating, but your service needs a major overhaul. Hopefully something resonates with your management. Get it right!

Joeys Pizza is the best! Not pricey at all and so delicious! Every time I go in I am shocked by the freshness of the food and the quality of everything. Really great prices and such good pizza I would definitely recommend going here.

Just called Joeys, someone answered the phone and said, verbatim, «You Should Probably call another pizza place right now. Bye.» Literally. That just happened. Now, im a local home owner and Military Veteran. Joeys always gave killer discounts. So even when their moronic staff couldnt be bothered to remember if i said, «Pepperoni…» I know, tough one right? Orrrr when they repeatedly undercooked their pizza to the degree that i would just warm up my oven and pizza stone at home before going to pick up a pizza from Joeys. Orrrr when then would forget to put a topping on before they baked the pizza and then put it on right before it went in the box so that when you opened it your jaw dropped and all you could think was WTF? Or when they gave out simply ridiculous amounts of free pizza cards because they COULDNOTGETTHEIRACTTOGETHERFORMONTHS. AFTERALLLLOFTHAT, I would order their pizza cause it was decent and cheap. Well, they ruined the discounts a few months ago, and now some dork just pissed me off for the last time. FU Joeys pizza. May the cool people that have worked there or still do live long and prosper. Peace.

I came here with my friend and we ordered just mozzarella sticks for the appetizers. We also had a couple drinks along with it so wait time wasn’t too bad. The mozzarella sticks came out within like 10 minutes and waited for it to cool down because it was hot. My initial thought of the mozzarella sticks was that it was skinny based off of the past mozzarella sticks I had. We were also given ranch and marinara sauce. I’ve never tried mozzarella sticks with ranch and gave it a try — it didn’t taste as good with marinara.

Came here with my family and friends with kids. No liquor license so sitting here watching the kids color for a long wait. Not busy at all so should have had food 20 minutes ago. Still waiting. And waiting. Great old building, was probably good but must have lost their liquor license. The pizza is great if you are ready for the wait. Thin crust and good quality with interesting options. If the iron out the kinks will be excellent!

Randomly found this place on a Google search as we were driving north on 101. What a great find! First, the building is really neat, being an old house(possibly Victorian or at least turn of the century). The staff were welcoming and very nice. They gave us some fresh made soft pretzels while we waited for our pizza. We ordered the Mendo Monster pizza and loved it! Definitely going to stop here again when we are back in the area.

I love Joey’s Pizza! Thin crust and generous with toppings. I always get it to go or delivery so I haven’t dined in before. My most recent order was the Big Tone pizza with pumpkin cheesecake. Both were great and the cheesecake was huge slice. We will definitely be back.

This is it! I have been looking for awesome pizza and finally can say I’ve found it! I am critical when it comes to Italian food, while many places are sub par, this isn’t one of them! Nice options, impressive pizza and the large is huge! Full of toppings plus the drive home(20 – 30 min) and no sign of sogginess! Will be back! Plus the staff is nice!

YUM! We love good pizza(a notch above the chain stuff) but hate paying $ 30 for a pie. Joey’s is just right for us – great pizza, great price! $ 15.99 for a large on a Monday or Tuesday night makes for the perfect cure for the Monday blues! $ 25 flat got us a yummy pizza AND delicious breadsticks! I’ll take that deal any day. The pizza was delicious and hot. Took about 7 minutes longer than promised, but I won’t knock them for that considering it was CRAZY busy for a Monday night. Next time I’ll know«30 minutes» means 30 – 35, not 25 – 30. But yes, there will definitely be a next time! Oh, and they have a little punch card – buy 9 and get a free upgrade from small to large. I always love incentives like that! We got take out, but I would like to go back and dine in. The old house gives it a really unique and fun atmosphere. Lots of small rooms, looks fun and a little romantic. All the staff were fun, courteous, and all around great to deal with. This is my new go-to pizza place!

Very annoyed that our daughters food arrived burned. not just a little but black cheese bread and burnt chicken strips. They were apologetic and they did offer to put in Oops book or redeliver. Since both were for my 6 year old had to have redelivered. We called back a few minutes later and asked to add on French fries and they were very polite again and said sure no problem. Well the problem is they did finally redeliver but NO French Fries! all of our food got cold n soggy waiting for her food to be delivered. The reason for the 3 stars is the sub’s and pizza were decent even cold and the staff and delivery guy was friendly. Working in food for decades, I get accidents happen but I would have surely delivered those fries after that. 70.00 order was such a waste.

Sigh. Thank goodness(most of) the food is good, and the people who answer the phone(especially Kayley, Melissa, and Sarah, whose names I hope I’ve spelled correctly) are cordial(and, when necessary, appropriately apologetic). Because at least yesterday and today, Joey’s delivery service was incredibly disappointing. In 2013, I gave Joey’s four out of five stars on Unilocal, and said that those who visited or ordered food for delivery would not be disappointed. However, after the ordering experiences we received yesterday and today, I have no choice but to rescind that recommendation. On Sunday, May 31, we ordered from Kayley a well-done sausage-and-mushroom pizza, the lemon cheesecake, and the dark chocolate raspberry cheesecake. We also requested the«local’s discount,» an «insider» benefit we really appreciate. However, our pizza was not only not well-done, but in spots was almost underdone.(This was the second consecutive time this particular disappointment has happened, by the way.) There was so little sausage on it, I feared that the«local’s discount» resulted in a reduction of toppings. Some of the slices had no sausage at all, while others had only one or two tiny bits, something that has never been an issue with past orders from Joey’s. And the cheesecakes? Well, the dark chocolate raspberry had a layer of chocolate on top that was as thick as if not thicker than the actual cheesecake. Disappointing. And the lemon cheesecake had lemon seeds throughout. Apparently, whoever made it either didn’t know how to keep lemon seeds out of the recipe, or didn’t care enough to do so. Unacceptable. I called the restaurant to let someone know about the lemon seeds. The young man who answered the phone was nice enough, but never did respond explicitly to my suggestion that he tell someone who might do something. So I decided to write. No publicly accessible e-mail address.(The« address on the e-mailed receipt for my last online order didn’t work.) No «comments» option online. No active Facebook page. Not even the ability to receive faxes, on paper or electronically. Thank goodness for Kayley and Melissa. Upon hearing my tale of woe, Kayley put us in Joey’s «‘oops’ book,» as she called it. We were credited for a large pizza and a slice of cheesecake, which we could enjoy gratis upon our next visit, or alongside a minimum delivery order of $ 20. A very nice make-up move, we thought. The next day, we decided to exercise the delivery option. In addition to the make-up pizza and cheesecake, we ordered some chicken wings, a meatball submarine sandwich, and Joey’s warm cookie ice cream sundae. To keep the ice cream from melting on its way here, I asked to have the warm cookie packed separately. All well and good so far. That is, until Melissa called to apologize, because they in fact did not have enough ice cream to make my wife’s sundae. She said she’d remove it from the bill, and that our order would arrive soon after we got off the phone. Which it did. In fact, it arrived at precisely the same time as another call from Joey’s, to say that they had found enough ice cream for a sundae after all. Yay! Or so we thought. The pizza was a vast improvement over yesterday’s attempt. The meatball sandwich was delicious. The chicken wings were tasty. But the ice cream was visibly, obviously freezer-burned — it looked like it had been scraped from the walls of a freezer, not scooped out of a fresh container. The cookie, packed separately as requested, had been burned. There were no sundae toppings to be found, packed separately or otherwise. And the strawberry cheesecake’s bottom crust was a soggy mush, as if it had been sitting around long enough for the cheesecake to start leaking liquid. I called the restaurant again, this time connecting with Sarah, who had just arrived at work while all of this was going on. She informed me that she had heard enough to have already removed the non-sundae from my bill. She also said the most professional thing I’ve heard from a business representative in a long time. In addition to apologizing profusely, as Kayley and Melissa had previously, Sarah also said she hoped Joey’s hadn’t lost our business, but that she’d understand it if they had. She also said she was leaving credit for a slice of cheesecake in the«oops» book. I’m going to think about whether or not I’m going to use that credit while I go out and get my wife the sundae she wanted. Meanwhile, if you’re in the neighborhood or drinking at the Belvedere downstairs, by all means, check out Joey’s. But if you’re ordering food to be delivered, you might take this review as a caution.

Ordered in last night due to back injury. The young lady on the phone was so helpful and patient. I have gone past this place so man times. After my bad ordering experience with Pizza Hut .Did I say BBBBAAAAAAAAADDDDDDD! How refreshing. Got the best kick ass hot wings. I am from the east coast and I sucked the bones dry. The pizza had beautiful air pockets. A real pizza. I am now a walking commercial for this place. When my back gets better I intend to take some friends there and say another thank you!

We had this food delivered. Got the ‘mix’ wings with BBQ and buffalo mixed together and the sauce tasted SUPER store-bought and sweet and there was a lot of it. The pizza was pretty okay, got half an Aegean and half… something D– chicken garlic white sauce. The crust was floppy and it was all really salty. Not terrible, pretty okay overall.

Have any of these customers been inside? I went there on 1÷27÷15. It smells like a real old house with a mold problem. The menu’s were filthy and the windows up in front had lots of spiderwebs with dead bugs in them. I took a picture of that. Won’t be going back to this place.

In California, «pizza can be all over the place.» I mean that it’s meaning can be so many different kinds based on where you go to get it.(Or what valley, ha ha) It can be a gourmet experience with a semi-soft egg placed at it’s center, it could be a wanna-be version of a Chicago or NY style or it could be something of its own. My five star rating is for the experience the owner hoped to instill with patrons because I was lucky to meet him on a few excursions. What I would come to enjoy as a happy hour, on some afternoons, after the early workday was a slice of pizza baked fresh to order. In their humble restaurant hung a board of employee & local favorites and other tasty combinations. One could also opt to ordering their«own picks.» I recall a conversation with the owner when he warmly said to me. «I want my customers to enjoy something that was prepared for them.» Another time, I was one of a very few that came in on a rainy day and he made a warm pretzel, fresh as an appetizer while I waited for my slice. There are other occasions that while seated at the bar, I had conversations with random people sitting nearby. It’s that welcome feeling that I adored most. The hospitable customer service, the warm welcomes and atmosphere. And of course, the tasty, enormous slices. Reviews have their highs and lows in rating. But when you notice a trend, as in, more stars for those that«dined in.» Perhaps you should heed that as advice, to, dine-in.

The pizza is gooooood! But really, you’ve got to come in here to sit in one of the most amazing old buildings in Santa Rosa — try the pizza(it’s good!) try the ice cream(it’s local!) but when you’re eating, sit down, entire the tall ceilings and designer windows, and soak up the old old victorian style of the place!
