Every time I visit this café, I couldn’t decide between the walnut or almond croissant so I have decided to alternate them each time. The best croissants this side of the world. Service was upbeat the friendly.

Pretty yummy. Nice quick quality spot close to home. Feta and spinach croissant was great, very flavorful. Croissant sandwich was also excellent — bacon, lettuce, tomato, Swiss… Yum!

I had the Normandy(sausage egg cheese) on a croissant. It was hot, the croissant was fresh, and my entire experience was enjoyable. Fast service too. And they were open on thanksgiving. 6 stars.

Meh… I was excited to return to this location to enjoy a hot, cheesy, freshly baked bagel and was really disappointed. Café Des Crossiants is not what it used to be. I used to order the jalapeño bagel as it had a nice baked on layer of cheese with a slice of jalapeño on top; once heated in the toaster it was the perfect amount of spice to the cool contrast of cream cheese. Today’s bagel was nothing close to the original recipe. Since the franchise has been sold, the recipe has changed and quality is lacking. Today’s bagel was a dry tasteless piece of donut shaped dough. I used to visit this shop when I was a kid twenty years ago and it is not the same. My reccomendation is to stick to the croissants; they are still tasty.

Went in on a Sunday mid-afternoon and there were very few people here. No line. No waiting. Staff stopped their conversation and immediately came to assist us. By the time of day we got there, few baked offerings were available. My companion had a small chocolate and almond croissant which she devoured. Not sure if it was that good or she was just hungery. We both ordered regular coffees. My companion is a coffee-a-holic. She only drank a third of her cup before announcing she wanted to «save the rest for later». She never does that. Ever. My coffee was lukewarm because adding milk to it made it cold. I’m going to guess her coffee was not even close to hot as well because what she did drink she downed pretty quickly. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was that the place looked dirty. I was in there about 18 months to two years ago and it had the same boring décor, but it didn’t seem dirty then. I’ll give it one more try, much earlier in the day, to see if there is an improvement. Based on what I experienced, I think they should close on weekend afternoons if they are not going to freshen their coffee or stock enough baked goods.

Love this place! Turkey sandwich is bomb! I can tell they use costco turkey meat but that’s ok… their croissants are so good it doesn’t even matter lol

I love croissants! By just the name of it, I like this place already. I came here probably twice and ordered the chocolate croissants. I’ve had iced mocha here once but honestly couldn’t remember how it was. Their mini croissants are so cute. I love the interior of this shop. It’s much different than most coffee shops and definitely a lot spacier. It’s one of those shops where you’d wanna order a cup of something hot, eat a croissant and read a book. I believe they started serving thai tea which I would like to another time.

Disappointed. I remember when the food was«okay» now it’s just bad. I just ordered a mini monster today and it was soggy and the eggs were brownish in the middle. So disgusting. The only time they ever got my order right it was disgusting. Sorry but I would not recommend this place. It’s a wannabe joes and grateful bagel

Great selection of goodies and great service, but they have a major fly problem. I was totally grossed out to find them everywhere!!! Hope they can get this situation under control.

Food and service is decent but the café itself is dirty. It was not very busy but employees were standing around. The Chante location is much better!

Café Des Crossaints looks like a sammie shop with it’s roominess and clean ambience, lots of baked goodies in the shelves: crossaints, bagels, pastries, etc Brew:(1.50,m) peerless coffee, 6 choices –french roast, smooth, some body, no bitterness –not 3rd wave, better than average brew. drips: –quick, friendly service. 3,5 stars

Today a girl was training another girl and she was so mean to her. Today I found a hair in my breakfast bagel. Asked for my money back but nothing happened. White mocha is really good though. Sometimes the pasteries are stale.

Found by accident around 11:30AM and stopped in because I LOVE croissants. I was surprised how spacious this place is and by the large menu. I also love almonds so when I saw the almond croissant, I knew I was going to get that. But they also had breakfast and deli sandwiches! This place is kinda like Noah’s Bagels but better. I have gone to Noah’s alot and am happy with their food but Café Des Croissants is a like a super duper version with many more options. I ordered an almond croissant and the Normandy egg sandwich, which was just simple sausage, egg and your choice of cheese on a croissant, bagel, or bread. They only had sourdough or rye bread to choose from so I got it on a cheesy bagel. The lady that took my order was nice, gave me my huge croissant on a plate and said she’d bring my sandwich to me when it was done. I wanted to charge my phone but the only 2 tables near wall outlets were already occupied by people charging several devices. The croissant was amazing and to my surprise was stuffed with almond slivers and almond paste. Because I’m use to Noah’s Bagels, I thought my egg sandwich was going to be tiny, but I was wrong. I had to ask for a to-go bag for my croissant because I knew I wasn’t going to be able to eat both. The sandwich was wonderful, came piping hot and was hot for a long time. I stayed in the café for a good while, taking my time eating my warm food, hoping someone near the wall outlets would leave(which they didn’t) and enjoying the calm atmosphere. I went back the very next day because I had to be in Santa Rosa again. Got another almond croissant to go and had a different egg sandwich which was very yummy. I was in around 3PM and the 2 tables by the wall outlets were already taken and oddly by the one of the people from the morning before. WiFi is free but you have to ask for the password. I think this place will be a regular stop for me whenever I’m in Santa Rosa.

I go to this location almost daily, but why only three stars? Its the owner. She yells at customers and the staff in front of customers too! Its no wonder the«Now Hiring» sign is always hanging. How is it they are ALWAYS out of ham&Cheese croissants at 7:30am?! Make more of them, you lose 20 dollars a week on me alone. I love their shop, food, and tasty coffee… all five stars. The owner lady is is a one star nightmare. Make more premade ham and cheese!

This place seemed cute. Went in around 3:00 on a Monday and it was rather dead. I was starving, since I missed breakfast, and was just dying for a good sandwich. I dunno. Not the greatest thing ever. Might have been better had the sandwich been made on a fresh croissant, not some stale thing that tasted like it was from yesterdays batch :/Since your a café, and croissant is in your name — I’m a little concerned when your croissants are pretty sub-par. So I won’t be making too many trips out of my way, while vacationing back home to come back here. Buuut, maybe for a morning snack… everyone else seems to be impressed with the morning pastries. Maybe late afternoons just not this place’s thing.

Best Bagel place in the County — I often get it to go even though they have a lovely seating area and good coffee. The Loxy Lady is delicious and there are plenty of Lox on there — I’ve asked other places to double it up to get what you get here. Then I always get the Bacon and Egg on a Sesame for my roommate and he loves it. He’s super particular so if he doesn’t like it — I hear about it. I’ve heard about it at the other 2 places that I used to frequent. So now it’s Café Des Croissants ONLY. They do run out sometimes because it’s popular — go early or call ahead.

I’m glad to see Café Des Croissants come back to the Marlow Road shopping center. For those who don’t know, this location was a Café Des Croissants. It closed and a Starbucks opened. Starbucks remained for about 10 years and then it closed. Now Café Des Croissants is back in the original location! I came here on an early Wednesday morning on my way to work. There weren’t that many people there, probably because they didn’t know it was now open. Anyway, this location has a very large seating area, twice the original size back in the 90’s. Their croissant cases were filled with all sorts of different croissants. The food there, I can only give 3-stars, though. It seemed like they were all soft. Of the half-dozen I bought, maybe only two had a crispy flaky texture. The service was only 3-stars as well. Half the time, I couldn’t hear the server. It wasn’t even loud in there. She kept mumbling. I hope these are only problems as it’s newly opened and as time goes on, these problems should go away.
