Applebee’s

Poor waiter is all I have to say! The worst dining experience I’ve ever had! We’re on vacation and we are eating out three times a day. Worst management I’ve ever seen. They need to change that right now or they’ll be out of business. 2 people complained while we were there. It took forever for us to be greeted and then to get drinks took over 5 minutes.
I felt so bad for our server. The manager kept walking out, going over to one area, then walking back in the kitchen. He didn’t even ask his staff if they needed help. My server was swammped!
Horrible mf I’ll never go back.

It’d be 0 stars if that were possible. My boyfriend is Celiac and a group of my friends and I went to dinner the other night here. The last time my boyfriend and I went to Applebee’s, a waitress guaranteed him that what he was going to order was gluten free and all. He took a bite and realized that his allergen was in what he just ate. For anybody who doesn’t know what celiac is, you can’t eat any form of gluten, no wheat, rye, barley, and nothing gluten containing may touch anything he’s about to eat or he’ll end up VIOLENTLY ill. Then, the other night, we go and he’s too scared to eat there so he decides to run over to Mary’s to get a pizza that he knows WILL NOT make him sick like applebees did the last time, and they refused to let him in the door with it at all. Fucking ridiculous. Applebees is HORRIBLE. I will NEVER eat there again and neither will the two groups of people we went with both times. Applebees does NOT care about their customers whatsoever. We are FURIOUS. I will be giving applebees the WORST of reviews. Will never spread anything good about them again. That was the last straw. Oh, not to mention, the other night some lady starts freaking out on some early 20s man calling him a child molester and saying he molested her son and to everyone in there keep your children with them, and they kicked her out. The guy didn’t deny it, he just looked around at everyone watching. Applebees sucks. I’m done.

Our waiter was great, but everything else was mediocre at best. Some drunkin idiots were here hacking up a lung, yelling and screaming, swearing while the girl at the front was ignoring everyone and hanging out with them. They smelled so bad of cigarette smoke my husband and I had to move, you could hear them throughout the whole restaurant. They are even insulting the poor waiter who looks barely 18.
The food was bland as usual, I wish I could say anything but the waiter was good.

Ordered a 7oz grilled Onion Sirloin Steak w/​Stout Gravy cooked MEDIUM. There were potatoes, onions, few crispy dried tomatoes = $ 14.49. When it arrived I was surprised by how small it was. It was bush league. My 1^st cut into the end of the steak was noticeably cooked WELL done. I wanted to give it a chance and proceeded to cut thru the middle. It was WELL done… :(
Reality check: 7oz is a little bigger than 2 decks of cards. The waitress checked in with me and asked how the steak was and I was straightforward with my review. I showed her how well done it was and she agreed. She offered a corrected steak sent to me but I refused. I proceeded to efficiently gulp down the little steak as the manager approached me addressing the issues, offering a redo and or a complimentary dessert, I refused.
He explained how the steaks were cut based on weight. $ 15 isn’t worth it.
I was disappointed and went on to finish the steak, not enjoying it. It was meh. I went on to pay using the tablet and noticed they applied a 50% discount to the steak. I’ll take it.
What a pitiful dish.

Learn from my Misteak…

I am used to better service at Applebee’s. But they seem to be having less and less people working at any given time lately. The last time we went in, the entire theme all evening was: we waited and waited. It started upon our arrival… everyone seemed too busy to greet us and seat us. Once we were finally seated, they quickly gave us menus and then forgot us. Our drink order was eventually dropped off without the chance to order any food until we had been there almost 20 minutes. Then we waited and waited for our food.

Hard to really give this Applebee’s spot a stellar review. Only positive was the nice bartender who was very attentive for a sem busy weeknight. I stopped by because I was quite hungry from skipping lunch and needed a quick light meal.
Started out with grilled chicken wonton tacos, which were disgraceful to say the least. Lukewarm poultry makes me cringe on an app like this where it should be piping hot and tasty. Kept thinking every bite could land me with a case of hugging the old porcelain god by night’s end. Guess I got lucky, anyways semi flavorless and not too appealing. Finished with a grilled chicken caesar salad, where I found old lettuce in. Really just your standard run of the mill salad with grilled chicken on the top, I will say they give you a hefty portion.
All and all, it is a Applebee’s, so really you should not expect a michelin star meal, but just felt that it could’ve been a bit better. For $ 16.00 I cannot get too angry for the amount of food and service I receieved.

Wow. That is what I said when I got home after picking up carside.
Ordered fista chicken salad and boneless wing. Minus there was no chicken in the salad, at all. I paid $ 11 for lettuce.
Opened up the boneless wings to see 2 slivers of celery. Seriously?
Really really disappointed. Waste of $ 25 bucks geez.

First, your bus boy needs to learn better customer service, sitting us at our table and then throwing our menus on the table and walking away in silence is a huge turn off.
I dont know how long you expect us to sit at the table to wait for our server to at least greet us before we take our money elsewhere. We waited for ten minutes while the staff kept staring at our table like we are supposed to get up and go behind the bar to make our own damn drinks. thanks for ignoring us, i didnt want to spend my hard earned money at a 2 ½ star restaurant any way. Off to STARKS STEAK HOUSE. if you never been, its AMAZING!

What can I say, it’s Applebee’s. The service is what you would come to expect at a place like this for some people really will go out of their way to make you feel welcome and others could really just care less. I really don’t like how they keep changing the menu around but that’s not really this particular locations fault but rather the corporation. They used to have a more expensive menu with many burgers and stuff but now it seems they really narrowed the selection down and tried really hard to make their burgers look fancy which in my opinion is not a good idea. Always a good place to come and have appetizers and drink because the bar is always fun. Wouldn’t come here for steak because there’s far better places in town for that. The one thing that Applebee’s has going for it besides the bar is their dessert choices.

I love this place. I always enjoy the food I get here, I mean who doesn’t like cheese sticks or burgers?! The servers are awesome, the food is… well its Applebees. Haha I enjoy the atmosphere and the service I get. Not to mention the butter pecan blondie is bomb!

My fiancé and I recently used their online ordering service, but the curbside was closed. When the order was placed, it says to call the restaurant to confirm the order. When we showed up, the gift cards that were used online to pay for the order were saying no funds available at the register! After speaking to the manager, he said it was okay to take the food and he will look into what happened. I have always liked this location, so I will keep coming back with my family and friends!

My kids wanted burgers so we stopped by. Food was okay, a bit pricey for the amount you get. But what really grossed us out were the dogs present in the dining room! I’m not talking guide dogs — but old, dirty, unleashed, barking dogs! One was in the booth behind us and another a few tables across from us. Customers were getting up and the dogs followed. One almost tripped a server. They smelled like wet dog!!! I asked our server why were there dogs in the restaurant and she said she didn’t know. Don’t Applebee’s managers have the balls to tell people leave your animals outside?! Gross!

I’ve been here many time an lately it has be getting worse an worse. Tonight my party went for my grandma’s birthday. Service was horriable. Everyone’s meals came out at randoms times an even forgot someone’s dish. That wasn’t the worst our food was cold, we sent it back an then it was brought back just as cold the second time. Our drinks didn’t even come out until we asked for a third time. We saw more of the busboy then our waiter. Once the manager came over to give us our bill we told him how crappy our experience was he just told us that some people are training. No sorry or attempt to comp some of the bill. We ended up having to go find someone in the back to take our check to pay. Worst experience ever.

I am trying to figure how how Applebees gets 5 stars since most of their food is frozen?
I do try and avoid this place. But had to come here recently to meet someone.
My girlfriend and I both ordered this Blood Orange Margarita. And I honestly couldn’t tell that there was alcohol in it? I mean, neither one of us didn’t even get a hint of a buzz. And they were $ 10.50 each.
Sheeeesh…
I think your better off ordering a Jameson with 2 or 3 cubes. You will get more bang for your buck that way.
On the brightside, I have always liked every server I have had at any Applebees. Staff usually seems up beat, happy, friendly and rocking a bright smile.
In a pinch, I will come here to eat. But will not go out of my way to seek an Applebees.

I had a HOA meeting here recently and always thought this chain makes decent food. I had a sirloin steak and it was cut for me — found that kind of odd. It’s was okay — my expectations were low ordering a steak at Applebees and it was about what I had expected. We usually go to Carrows which besides the bar and ambiance, there isn’t much difference.
The service was okay — a young guy that would walk by the table oblivious to filling water or refilling soda for the kids. At least he had a good attitude. He would make a joke when he served a glass of wine or a beer by saying something like ‘here’s your vodka’ — funny the first time.
I would come by here for the bar specifically and a reasonable cheap meal — not for the food or the service. Nothing to ‘hate’ about it — just know that nothing is special. You can find special at the diviest of diners or the trashiest of dive bars — not here.

The food is OK although not great at all. On the other hand, the service is… maybe one of the worst I’ve ever experienced in my life, I could resume it this way «the service staff hate their jobs» seriously if you don’t like it, just quit and get another job.

Good place, decent price.
Nice place if you’re just grabbing a nonchalant dinner with friends or just want to get out of the house.
What it’s not — fancy. Don’t expect 5-​star anything here, but it’s a good, cheap, place to grab a beer and some grub.
Servers are nice, not haughty as I’ve experienced in some of the other eateries around here, and stays busy so they must be doing something right.

I have nothing bad to say about this Applebee’s. Great food, great service, and great employees. I come here all the time with my husband.

Gilbert is an amazing server. Every time we come in he remembers me and my family and our favorite dishes. We have been coming here for several years now and each time I hope he is our server. He speaks Spanish to my in laws and they love the special touch. He should be acknowledged for his kindness and dedication to customer service. I have worked customer service for 26 years and I would hire this guy in an instant!!!
And the food was fast and perfect.

Terrible service, if Thers more than 2 of you plan on waiting, they don’t seem to give a crap about seating you if Thers more than 3 of you. There was 5 of us and at the very least 5 other parties was seated before we were. We finally just left the people don’t give a crap
