They wouldn’t sell me a dress on the mannequin because it was«damaged». When I asked to see where the damages they couldn’t prove it. What a joke! Don’t come here

The worst service in any store I have ever been in. Plan on spending 25 minutes waiting to pay somehow it takes them forever to ring you out even if there are two people up front and you are the only person there. The staff is ridiculous. I walked in to a blonde staff member texting who didn’t say a word to me. I saw a dress on a mannequin that I couldn’t find in the store I went back to ask the blonde girl who was now chatting with an equally rude co worker. They simply glanced at me and said te dress was sold out. When I went to try clothes on no one was there. You have to go find pane one and then are only allowed 5 items at a time. The lady never came back to replace my items with the other ones I wanted to try on and when I asked for a size she never came back. I had no where to put the clothes I was done with because not only is there NO customer service but there is no rack. I made a pile outside my room not knowing what else to do and she rudely and loudly knocked on my door. I hoped she had returned with the shirt I needed a different size in or the rest of my clothes but when I said«yes?» She simply said«oh I was just seeing if there was anyone in here» clearly angry because of the pile of clothes. I should add that at this point two other customers had added clothes because they too had no where to out them.

I make my way into an A&F store maybe… 6 or so times a year — so it’s not a regular occurrence, however, I can spend several hundred dollars in there per year. I got an e-mail from A&F about how they had 50% off jeans and went to the mall to check them out. I really liked them and while I was there I saw a full price fleece cardigan for $ 70. I decided I really liked it and went ahead and splurged on the item. In the following two weeks I decided I really liked the jeans I got for ½ off and went back to buy another pair. In store they were all sold out but I figured I could order them online. I also saw that the fleece cardigan I had purchased was now 30% off and I knew A&F had a 14 day price adjustment policy — what I did not know — however, was that they, unlike any-other-store I have ever done a price adjustment at, was that they required the merchandise be present. Why? It was purchased on my credit card. I had the proof of purchase(the receipt). And besides that, I had already worn it — although not for any extended period of time. So, I only discovered this arbitrary store policy when I had already returned to my house and picked up my receipt not ever dreaming the merchandise would need to be present. So, I questioned a man who identified himself as a manager over this policy and he said just that — that it was the store policy. So, since I had to go all the way home again, and waste all that gas, again to jump through hoops to fit in with the cool kid’s store policy I decided I would return it. And I did. And then I witnessed them automatically refund my card. I have no intention of purchasing anymore jeans or… anything else from A&F!

This store is terribly stinky. It smells like a boys locker room after they all discover Axe Body Spray at the same time. It is way too dark and WAY too loud for adults. That is the point(so I hear) to make the parents want to just say ‘fine, just get it’ and get the hell out of there without thinking about the ridiculous prices. This is not a boutique, people — it is no different then the Gap or Old Navy or any other store in the stupid mall. It is just more expensive. Why does everything need to have the name of the store written on it? Everything, really? Plus they have giant posters of barely legal young people without tops on… classy stuff.
