Excellent food, excellent service. Staff is very friendly, place is even surprisingly kid friendly. Would highly recommend.

The lobster was extremely salty. The noodles that come with it were good. The waiter replaced my dish but the next lobster was no different. I’ve never had that happen and the level of salt needed to get a lobster that salty must have been tremendous. The pizza my husband ordered was not that great and he’s no culinary critic. The ceasar salad and the bread were excellent. Our dining companions liked the tuna poke and the wreck fish. Our waiter was great. Perhaps it was an off night. In our town the prices would be about the same, so I didn’t find them overpriced, but the quality was not there, at least for the items we chose.

Delicious. Friendly staff but definitely recommend reservations. Food is expensive but everyone’s was delicious(although the $ 16 kids meal was a surprise). BOGO from 5 – 6 made it tolerable. My wife had the Manhattan strip and I had the Yellowfin Tuna– both were excellent. Kids fish and steak were also very good for kids food standards.

I’ve driven by this place time and time again for years and never stopped. For some reason, I imagined this place to be a 30a version of the Ocean Club. If you don’t know what I mean then you don’t know what I mean… Anywho, it wasn’t like that at all. It was actually a rather young, casual crowd. Of course, we were there to hit up the 2 for 1 dinners between 5 and 6pm and there were lots of families there to take advantage. The 2 for 1 option is only slightly confusing. They run this special every day from 5pm until 6pm. You can order any of their entrees, but you can only select an entrée without a diamond(see picture) as your freebie. This means that you can’t get a free filet, crab cake, etc. With that in mind, hubs ordered the filet and I ordered the shrimp and grits. We killed the shrimp and grits, it’s slap yo mama good. It has sort of a cajun twist, I think it’s the celery in the grits. They are creamy perfection. The filet was tasty, but not right. It was a nice cut of meat and it was tender, but it wasn’t a beachy, summer dish. The filet is served and prepared much like a roast with a thick red wine reduction and plenty of root vegetables including carrots and potatoes. It would be lovely at my grandmother’s house in the middle of the winter, but did little to reflect the beautiful summer season. With that said, the diamond drama should be no big deal because you should get two shrimp and grits. Done and done. Our server, Jacob, was awesome. He actually invited us in and he is very enthusiastic about the restaurant. We had amazing service and enjoyed the atmosphere. The dining room is much larger than I imagined, but still has a lot of character. This is definitly a place to stop when staying in Seagrove. Tip: $ 5 Martinis on Thursdays and Sundays. I think this only runs from 5−6pm, but I’m not positive on the hours. Make reservations!

We showed up at 5pm without a reservation, and waited just under an hour. Even though we were seated at the bogo deadline, our waiter took our fm food order quickly, got it in the kitchen in time. The hostess’ were a little on the rude side, but the service once seated was spectacular. Our meals were delicious. Steak, seafood and even a personal pizza were first rate. If you are in town, don’t pass on this gem.

I don’t get it… The set up IS a café(unlike other reviews stated) not fine dining that deserves valet or $$$. Ambiance was more than lacking, food was okay… Not somewhere I would choose on vacation or any regular night! :/

Saturday night in the Bar Rollup to Café 30 A and the first thing you’ll notice is the tradewinds architecture, stylish parking lot pavers, underlit palms and valet service… all foreshadowing a great evening. It was a last minute idea to visit this place — and despite the full reservation book in the main restaurant we took a two-top in the bar and the adventure began. Nicely selected wall art, white cloths and a good vibe from our server set the tone for an incredible meal. No –this was not the two for one entrée window or $ 5 martinis, but nevertheless our experience was terrific. Not the usual chicken-chicken-fish-fish menu, but a thoughtfully curated, sauced and paired menu that has wide appeal and clearly was a «best meal» in a number of categories. Cobia and Pompano were plated magazine-shoot beautiful and delivered after the grilled octopus appetizers. Martinis suitably dry and one of the most rationally/reasonably priced wine list you will ever find. Wow– who does this any more except venues that are not after your last nickel. The meal was professionally paced with a good«read» by our server and friendliness from the bar tender who visited briefly. Training matters and it showed. Dessert was«last meal» good — a cinnamon bread pudding that should be entered in global competition. This restaurant has all the pieces of service, style, taste which resulted in our last night dinner being everything we hoped.

My husband took me here for our anniversary and he made the right choice! I had the seared tuna while he had the crab cake entrée. The crab cakes were the best I’ve ever had(even better than red bar). My tuna was fantastic too but I just couldn’t stop stealing from my husband’s plate. We also had the bread pudding and it was amazing. The service was superior and the atmosphere was intimate, perfect for a nice night out. We will be back!

This place certainly has a nice atmosphere but prices are way too high for what is presented. Scallop appetizer was ok and swordfish a tad rubbery. Service was great but overall we were pretty disappointed.

We came here for Easter dinner. That explains why it was so crowded. As a first time diner, I’m not sure if it is always so loud in there, or if that was because of the holiday and all of the families with kids. We had a reservation and we were welcomed and seated quickly. Every table was filled, and our server had two large parties besides us, but he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We started with the quail and grits appetizer. The grits were very good. The quail were so small, they were hardly a nibble. We took our server’s suggestion and split the golden and red beet salad. It was delicious. Our entrees took a while to arrive and my husband’s sea bass was only lukewarm. I had the red snapper with kale and white beans and turnips. It was tasty. We ended the meal with coffee. All in all a nice meal.

Banana benieghts were yummy but needs extra chocolate sauce. Lobster and duck breast were great. Salmon very moist. I felt the ahi tuna could have been a better cut, a bit stringy. Service was A– and not snooty at all. Loved the 2 for 1 deal between 5−6pm. Still a pricey meal, but nice for a special occasion. Pop refills free. What could make this a five star. Two for one kid meals like adults during that time frame. Why would they have servers carry the food near our table and then have us look at it sitting there till the waiter came by to pass it out to us? The wait time was probably like 2 minutes. But our food was just sitting there getting cold. That is not cool.

Our waiter couldn’t have been nicer or more attentive. The place is very cute. Sort of elegant beachy w dimmer lighting and candlelit tables. Of course the food is most important. We all had grouper, and it was delicious. We also had the beet salad and grilled Caesar. Both were very good. I didn’t eat the dessert, but the rest of my family raved about the bread pudding and crème brûlée. Everything was visually pretty as well. My family was here last year, and we made it a point to return. They also have incredible deals 2 for 1 entrees between 5−6PM. Apparently a $ 5 martini night Tues/Thurs which we missed.

We went here on a weekend trip to Alys Beach. It was such a quaint place and unexpected in décor. We loved the waitstaff, everyone was so nice and helpful. The food. Ermahgerd. The food was amazing! We split a salad and each had a wonderful entrée. Mine was grouper with cauliflower and veggies, a delicious low carb meal that was very filling. My husband had the langostine and it was amazing! As much as I loved mine, his was off the charts amazing. I wish we had room for dessert, but alas there was no room. it was very romantic and a perfect meal to end our weekend! Go early for the two for one meal deal. It will allow you to dine well for a really affordable budget.

Thirty-A, too damn good to be called a café. Wen you think café, you think simple, rustic yet appetizing fare. Nothing to write home about, but nothing too disappointing. Well, you would be WRONG Mr! Café 30A, from the moment you are seated to the moment you leave the doors is nothing less than a five star experience all the way. This dining experience began with a Grilled Caesar Salad for my wife and I to share. Grilled Romaine, Shaved Asiago, Toasted Crostini, Classic Caesar Dressing, all so beautifully done, and they even served it to us already split, a ice touch not usually found elsewhere. Followed by a main course. Wood Oven Roasted Grouper for my wife. It was accompanied by Spaghetti Squash, Butter Poached, Rock Shrimp, Roasted Brussels Sprouts, Cauliflower, Romesco and was simply too beautiful and fresh for words to describe. Myself I dined on the Butter Poached Langoustine, which came with English Peas, Basil, Roasted Red Bell Peppers, Duck Confit, White Wine, Orecchiette Pasta, Mascarpone. To say that this hearty dish was beyond any possible expectation would be a dramatic understatement. I almost licked the plate, I almost ate the plate and be careful not to get some sauce on your cheek because your tongue will beat you senseless trying to get at it. The meal was almost a religious experience, the service was beyond exceptional and the experience was one for the record books. Of you are on 30A, looking for dnner, please consider Café 30A, I believe it is from 5 – 6 that they have the 2 for 1 dinner entrees, although in hindsight, I would even pay full price for this meal, it is just that good.

Nothing was terribly memorable and the prices are really quite steep for what you get. While my NY Strip was good, for $ 34, it would have been nice to be given some sort of side with it other than a small wad of onions, mushrooms, a few leafs of spinach and a cherry tomato or two on top(the menu said baby squash was also supposed to come with it, but that was mysteriously missing…). I finished my steak… and was still kind of hungry. For that cost, that should not have been the case. My husband had the salmon and, again, he ate it, but just wasn’t really wowed by it. I suppose when I pay $ 30+ for a dish, I expect it to be something special that knocks my socks off and that just simply was not the case here. On a bright note, the bread they bring out is quite good and the service was attentive. Would I come back? Not sure. Their menu changes regularly, so hopefully, another night would bring better offerings.

From the moment we stepped into the restaurant we were taken by the old world ambience of this Floridian style plantation restaurant. I had an out of body experience with my dinner of lobster and truffle Mac and cheese. And that’s not just the dirty martini talking. My dinner was hands down on my top ten-no make that my top five– meals of all times. My husband also loved his grouper dinner. They make a spot on Makers Mark Manhattan as well as dirty Martini. The Beet salad was a perfect start to our dinner-fresh and not overly done to detract from the essence of the fresh earthly beet flavors. We finished our meal with the bananas beignet– highly recommended by our amazingly friendly and highly competent wait person Joe. This restaurant made our trip all worth it.

The food was so good I didn’t even have the will power to take photos. A group of us went on a Saturday night. Pretty crowded, so we put in our name, went to the bar and right as we got our drinks we were in in less than 15 minutes. Our server was great. Can’t remember his name but he was Australian, super attentive and recommended great dishes to all of us. We started off with the beef carpaccio with horseradish aioli and came topped with caper berries and truffle vinaigrette. Highly recommend. My friend and I split the filet mignon & the lobster. The lobster came with truffle mac n cheese that was to die for. The filet was cooked to perfection; a tad bloody just how I like it. Pricey but well well worth it. One of the best Filets & Lobster dishes I’ve ever had.

Fantastic place for dinner! Everything we had was excellent. The NY Strip steak with corn risotto was cooked perfectly! The Maine lobster tails came with 3 tails, mac and cheese, with crawfish tails and asparagus.(Pictures posted of both dishes.). Food was out of this world! The kids steak looked like an adult sirloin and was huge! Be sure to take advantage of the 5−6pm 2 for 1 deal. For a party of 4, we saved over $ 58 with this deal. Highly recommended.

Evidently, the most romantic table in the restaurant is a two-person table located right smack in the middle of one of the server stations. How do I know? My husband phoned in a reservation, asked for a romantic table so we could enjoy a date night that doesn’t often happen sans kids — and that is where we were put. We kindly asked to be moved and were; and then moved again. right back to where we started as the ladies at the podium were not impressed with or inclined to grant our request made via server. My husband went to the podium to ask the lovely ladies himself if we could please be moved a third time; and with a huff, and a puff, and a massive eye roll … we were. Kind of tainted the entire experience at this point. We both ordered the arugula salad; he ordered a pizza and I ordered the truffled mac and cheese for us to share. Sadly, while we did enjoy the salad, unimpressed with the pizza and pasta. Our waitress was sweet, but didn’t save the experience. I see great reviews, but our visit definitely did not hold up. We’ll be heading back to Great Southern Café and the Wine Bar in Seaside; both having consistently excellent food and service.

This place is suppose to be the bomb… Don’t get me wrong it’s nice but a little over priced for what you get. First, they have valet which is always a plus in my book. The restaurant has a very cape cod feel all painted white wood. The tables are nice but seriously time to upgrade the chairs. They look cheap and feel wobbly. Our server was fantastic very attentive and our wine was always full! The sommelier was helpful and love the proper glasses for each wine. I thought the wine list was nice, and reasonable price points for some excellent wines. Our entrees were ok… I had the filet which was done medium rare. The problem was it just didn’t have a flavorful taste. I would do the strip next time. We also had the gulf shrimp and pasta, which again was just ok… For the price, homemade pasta would be so much better. Overall my opinion is that you are paying for the pretty atmosphere and the service.
