Zapparelli’s Pizzeria

The all meat combo is a must! Linguica is awesome! This place uses quality ingredients and the crust is soooo good… this coming from a person that doesn’t normally eat crust! If you like thick crust, then try it here with the all meat combo! The garlic chicken pizza was pretty bomb too! Super nice family owned business so it’s nice to support local business-​owners. Love Zapparelli’s!

Went in with my husband and son and paid $ 27 for a large combo pizza, one soda and two waters. Our only specialist request was no mushrooms on the pizza. The wait for our pizza was long and the manager apologized for the wait (and that’s OK), however when the pizza finally arrived it had mushrooms on it! There was an abundance of decent toppings but the crust was mediocre. It seemed undercooked in parts and not the tastiest we’ve had. We all agreed our experience was marginal at best.

My friends just moved to SP and I happen to spend my weekends there so we’re on a quest to try a bunch of the local spots.
This past weekend, we were hungover and craved pizza. Enter Z’s to the rescue. I checked the menu first to see if they had anything to offer that interested me. I was sold as soon as I saw the Garlic Chicken Supreme under the specials.
I placed the order for delivery even though we were 2 miles away and could have easily picked it up. I also got an order of their wings. A dozen, 6 bbq and 6 hot.
It only took 35 minutes to be delivered which is what I was promised so yay for being prompt.
Verdict — the pizza was bomb. We did shower it with sriracha so I feel like it could be much better with some fresh jalapeños. We’ll try that next time we order it. The wings were pretty good. I liked the bbq over the hot wings. And only because the hot wings weren’t really spicy. More American spicy. I’m not sure if the ranch is store bought or made in house, but something about it made me wish we were given more. Also, nice touch with adding celery in there.
I’m just bummed I have no pics. We were so hungry, everything got scarfed down quickly.

Family and I came in to celebrate my daughters 12^th bday this past Saturday and my party and I had a great time, we had the party menu which included several pizzas and some pitchers of soda, we also ordered a few extra pizzas and a few side salads and some draft beer pitchers and the price was just right, the food was great and service was excellent, considering the fact that we were a large group, overall very satisfied with service!

Good pizza but over priced. The restaurant needs some cleaning and friendly employees.

Tucked away in a strip mall in Santa Paula. Freezing inside, but then again everywhere was in Santa Paula. We got the lunch special personal pizzas and a drink. The pizzas were hilariously tiny, but hey, we weren’t that hungry. The glasses for our beers weren’t cold enough but the staff was friendly and the regulars seemed to love the place.

Pizza is great, we got a medium thick crust meat pizza. It was awesome, and arrived quick! We just moved to SP and wanted to try a local place and this pizza hit the spot and was the prefect amount. We definitely plan on doing future business here.

Sitting at home thinking where to go have a family dinner, my sister in law recommended this pizza place I wasn’t really up for pizza but let me just say this place is sooooo good. Their pizza is delicious, but their jalapeño and cheese is amazing we also ordered potato skins and wings and I must say everything was great!!! Oh yes and we also ordered a ham sandwich that rocked. We will definitely be back.

By far the best place to eat in Santa Paula! Well in my opinion! I usually call to place an order to have it delivered they always say about 40mins but they really beat their times I say they get here in about 15 – 20 mins great great great!

I am a huge pizza lover and I recently decided to try Zaps. I ordered the Margherita. It was delicious. However the tomatoes were canned and turned to mush when I bit in. Very generous with the basil, which I like but some people don’t. I ordered take out and picked up, I arrived 20 minutes after I order, which I think is enough time, but I had to sit around for almost 20 minutes more and wait. Yet so many other pizzas ran out the door for delivery. Small complaint really but that’s what ultimately brought it to a 3 star. The staff was friendly and nice. I’ll try them a couple more times and update the review if anything changes.

I wish I could give less stars. Came to the area for a wedding, no vegan food around. Hey, can’t go wrong with pizza, right?

They took an hour to deliver the no cheese pizza but then it ended up having cheese. They took it back and said they would be back in 15 minutes (the new cheese less one was already in the oven apparently) The supposed 3 delivery drivers who came to drop of 1 pizza confounded me. The first guy «waited 15 minutes» for me as I stood on the street looking for his car. It was the «2^nd time he came back» when he found me. Literally ludicrous. I hadn’t eaten since 9am and it’s 6pm, all my wife and i wanted was pizza.
I spoke with the manager and he was the most incompetent out of everyone. How do you not understand I have money and want to give it to you, just for pizza. That’s all I wanted. He refused to admit any error of his workers nor believe me as if I lying about being outside. It was an OUTDOOR wedding… I ended up canceling the order when it was 8pm and i still hadn’t eaten.
So frustrating. I hope there can be improvement and be weary my vegan friends.

Far and away the best pizza I have ever eaten. And I have had pizza all over the US of A, and Italy, too! The staff make you feel like you are part of the family. Go in two or three times and the owner remembers your name! All the ingrediants are fresh, and good quality. They have a great red sauce, and the crust is wonderful. I’ve tried the deep dish, but really love their regular crust… lets me eat a couple of extra slices. Beer on tap to wash it down, or go Italian and have a glass (or two) of wine. If you want to try and keep the weight off, they have a good mix of vegies at their salad bar. And the back room has video games for the kids to stay busy between slices. Good family atmosphere, but if you want to avoid the hubbub, sit up front where it is much quieter, or have them deliver if you live in town.

We love Zapperellis. It’s the same as Round Table. The pizza is the best. We love their hot wings too. Great place. Friendly staff and pizza is ready all the time when we call to pick up.

Food was good, prices were decent. The salad bar was pretty janky with cold watery iceberg lettuce. The place was pretty popular and you know its got good grub when SPPD walks in to grab a bite.

I would like to say that the pizza is solid/​taste good and under different circumstances i would love to have given them an awesome review. unfortunately my last experience at Zapparelli’s was a bad one.
I was there for my best friends kids birthday party and everything was going normal. got myself a little salad and minutes after eating it i could feel like something was wrong. Left the party and went immediately to CVS next door to calm the stomach down. didn’t work. turns out i had full blown food poisoning and lost my voice from vomiting so profusely.
Really do wish i was writing this review under different circumstances but it something i needed to share.

Was in the area for the 4^th and wanted something other than Mexican, which either means pizza or fast food. We opted for pizza.
The staff was nice and the selection/​menu was good. The quality of ingredients was much better than we anticipated getting and they have a decent salad bar.
I would go back again!

Love this Place! Pizza is juicy and delicious. Garlic Bread, Potato Skins, Sandwiches and Salads are delicious too. Everything is Amazing. Great place to grab a bite to eat. Great customer service. It’s a must try Pizza Place.

I decided to come to this pizzeria because I was in town and it had really good reviews lol anyway, I ordered a medium thin crust style pizza which was a really good size for a medium and for two people. One half was pepperoni and pineapple (my half) and the other half was sausage, bacon, and pepperoni (My gf’s half). We were both so satisfied with our pizza it was honestly one of the best pizza’s we had ever tasted. This pizzeria also has more than 10 pizza toppings but I like to keep it simple and stick to what I know which is pepperoni & pineapple only, but for those who love multiple toppings on their pizza this place has a good variety of different toppings. I highly recommend this place to anyone. It’s delicious.

Alrighty then! Zapparelli’s is really good! They remind me a lot of Round Table pizza. Moreso than Toppers. some people might say they’re similar to Topper’s… but I say nay, they are similar to Round Table. Their restaurant used to be a Round Table Pizza Joint… when you walk in, you can tell if you are familiar with the style of restaurants that Round Table has. Okay now onto the review:
First of all… all of their pizzas are good. Everything here is GOOD! I love their salads so much!
I love everything so much. There is not a single thing to complain about, and they don’t make you wait very long at all. Even their fountain drinks taste overly amazing.
If you do not like cheese, and you want a cheeseless pizza, you will not find a better place to get one. I have never had a cheeseless pizza that tasted as good as those here at Zapparelli’s. Matter of fact, it tastes so amazing that you don’t even miss the cheese!
I love the cheese too though I have a daughter who doesn’t like to eat cheese… so yah!

Super great place for very large groups of people, super for kids (video arcade) and super amazingly clean bathrooms for us women! We love a clean bathroom!

Lots of families with kids eating up really good thin crust pizza here. We tried their potato skins and they did not disappoint.
Ordered an XL Pepperoni, Linguica, Sausage, and Mushroom pizza. The four of us ate about ¾ of it. More for later!
The owner and staff made it a point to thank us for coming even though they were working hard in the open kitchen when we left.
Oh yeah, they have 805 on tap. Woo Hoo!
