Place is a hit or miss as far as crowds but the ambiance is awesome and the service is typically quite good. I feel this place is a bit overpriced for the quality of food and since they aren’t that busy(went last Saturday and there were only two other couples there). We use our Groupon service to eat here and that helps with the overpriced menu. Overall, worth the try, and make sure to tour the hotel while you are here.

This place is cool. Lots of rumors of it having paranormal activity. And the theme inside is so old school i love it. The restraunt is small which i like is less people, lights dimmed with candles made it romantic for my honey. I had the lemon chicken with capers, cooked to perfection. Service was friendly as well

Incredible, incredible, incredible! I LOVE this place — not only is the location, inside the magical Glen Tavern Inn, simply beautiful, but the food and staff service are OFFTHECHARTS! We have never had a poor experience at Enzo’s — each time we visit, it feels like we’re coming home! The management and staff here are truly fantastic… and Oh, the food, the food! Mouthwatering, delicious… just insanely good! This is a MUSTTRY spot for anyone interested in a fantastic meal and a memorable, magical experience. I cant wait until my next visit!

Excellent food and service. Jordan was extraordinary and he made our birthday celebration absolutely fantastic. The ambiance is quaint in the historic Glenn Tavern which makes it even nicer.

Had dinner here this week, Veal Scaloppini, which was quite good with roast potatoes and veggies. Dessert of Panacotta was the best I’ve had. Great service, good quality for the price, and nice atmosphere. I recommend it. Would stop in again when in the area.

I have to admit after reading the reviews, it was not hard to decide to try Enzo’s. The highlights of the evening included: the chef visiting the table and the bus boy and the delicious food! Our waiter was a little lack luster compared to Kenny who was AMAZING(who was attending other tables)! In observing and listening to Kenny, I observed he was much more informative with the specials and advising his tables of details pertaining to the dishes. Our server was either under informed or chose to only inform us of the most expensive specials. I WISH I would have been advised of the fettuccini with prosciutto and cream sauce, We were only advised of the cod and clams linguini. Will return, but will request Kenny! We chose the Cod and Osso Buco which was amazing. OMG you must try the lemon cello cake. :)

Very delicious, I recommend this place. I had the Brussels sprouts to begin, the lemon aioli was good as well as the bread and my dish was a spaghetti noodle with white wine and olive oil and red pepper with large shrimp and my friend ordered a chicken picatta with capers and 2 mini russet potato halves and zucchini and red peppers. It was all so tasty! :) great customer service.

A co-worker had her birthday here. It was divine. Everyone was raving about their dishes. I had the rigatoni and loved every bite. Her husband brought in a cake(I think from costco) it was too bad because I was looking forward to ordering their chocolate cake. It looked amazing. I will try it next time.

Enzo’s has very good food and they are willing to make changes to the dishes if you want something done differently. It is a very nice Italian restaurant in an old fashioned but well kept hotel called the Glen Tavern Inn in Santa Paula. It was not crowded last Saturday night, an my wife and I really enjoyed our meals, music, and the ambiance. I had the Chicken Picatta and at my request they substituted fettuccini noodles and added more sauce in lieu of potatoes and vegetables. My wife had the lasagna, but I think she wants to get the baked eggplant and ziti next time. We also had the Tiramisu and it was very good. There is limited parking in the back, but we found a space across the street. Very nice waiters and staff. We will definitely be back.

The Glenn Tavern Inn was built in the early 1900’s and has had a few reports of unexplained occurrences. The were kind enough to let me roam freely and take a few pics. First 2 floors were nice, had that turn of the century feel. I proceeded to the 3rd floor where I got this weird kinda uneasy feeling, took a few more pics then proceeded back down to the lobby. I ask the guy at the desk if any particular room was having the most paranormal activity, he said room 307…

Of all the times I’ve hung out in SP, I can’t believe I never heard of this place. Located inside the Glen Tavern Inn, this place just very well may be my new favorite spot. We were greeted by a very nice lady as soon as we walked in. My first thought was that we were underdressed. I was wearing jeans. The place looked pretty fancy. Gabby promptly came over as soon as we were seated and got our drinks order. My friend and I both decided to get a glass of the Malbec so we decided to get a bottle instead. We started off with the calamari which was very good. I would’ve preferred for it to be a little bit more crunchy, but it was good nonetheless. The garlic dip that came with it complimented it perfectly. For the main, I got the veal. My friend got the rigatoni, and my other friend got the chicken picatta. All our dishes were perfect. The potato and zucchini that came with it tasted out of this world. We were all silent the whole time taking it all in. That’s a true sign of good food. When you want to focus on every bite to savor it so you don’t talk. We ended with a crème brûlée. Just one was perfect for the 3 of us. We all got 3 bites each since it was topped with strawberries. Great food, romantic ambience, awesome service… what more can you ask for. This is going to be my new hotspot.

Update, we keep coming back here, every couple months or so. Sometimes with a coupon, sometimes not. Matt is our favorite server — he remembers us and comments if he hasn’t seen us in a while. He’s got a fantastic attitude and great report. Their cheese plate is consistently good. Try it. But order extra breads because unless you’re playing at being Dagwood you’re not going to have enough breads to enjoy all the cheeses, nuts, dried fruits and honey. SO very good. Service is always well-paced and the food is good/high quality. My shrimp were undercooked to my taste this time and it made me think maybe they were last time too. I think I’ll skip the shrimp going forward(if I remember) since I like my seafood not at all raw in taste or texture. Pasta was good and my husband liked his fish special. Too full for dessert, which was a bit of a shame. Atmosphere is so cozy and lovely. Great for a romantic/date night dinner. Thank you Enzo’s and Matt!

A hidden gem in Santa Paula. Great food, staff and atmosphere. I highly recommend the crostini as an appetizer and the lomardia pizza. This place is worth the drive.

If you are looking for fine dining in Santa Paula, this is the place. The décor, ambiance and menu are Italian. The executive chef tours the dining room when he has time and will go over the menu specials and let you make special requests. Solid, if limited wine list with great picks in all price ranges. The penne puttanesca is some of the best I have ever had. Dinner and dessert specials nightly!

Same lovely historic dining room, same reasonably priced bottles of wine on a good wine list, with professional sevice after a slow start(Never make us wait before ordering that all important first glass of wine or you will hear about it in my review). Must have wine before choosing an entrée off the new menu. Only thing missing from the old menu is my risotto, but the added calimari is a must. Even better, the chef came out and chatted with us before our entrees arrived, and specially made us some polenta to try. Mine was topped with sauteed mushrooms and was delicious. My husband was bummed that I ordered the putanesca because he feels like he needs to try something else. I was so glad I ordered it because it was the best I have eaten in a long time– spicy and flavorful enough for me, the original spice girl. His pesto was well prepared, just not as good as my putanesca. We enjoyed the local wine, the calimari appetizer, and the whole dang experience. We need to come here more often.

Paula our server made our evening extra special… her local knowledge, extensive knowledge about the menu and sense of humor was a great compliment to the excellent gnocchi, meatballs, bruschetta and chicken piccata dishes. What a treat…Italian opera sung live by another server! Romantic and charming!

Came here for apps and desserts as we were staying at the hotel. What we had: Calamari: it was average as far as how it was cooked and the breading but the creamy dipping sauce was awesome. Prosciutto asparagus salad: so awesome! The balsamic glaze and the smokeyness of the prosciutto went sooo well together! And the star of the show! The chocolate and almond torte with the citrus marscapone! Seriously rich chocolate favor without being to dense and overwhelming. I was tempted to order two! You have to get it! We topped off with a bottle of Enza prosecco! I wish I could remember our servers name. He recommended the dessert and gave us a mini history on the hotel, gave us space to have a romantic dinner, but I was never searching for him when I needed water refills or was ready to order the next round of food. It was a great experience.

This place is probably the nicest sit down restaurant in Santa Paula so I can’t blame them for all the high reviews. However, this place is located inside a fairly old tavern and although you can dress up, you might feel out of place because everyone is dressed pretty causally. The waitress didn’t seem to know the specials and was merely regurgitating a script. When we ordered wine, they put the first glass down without knowing which wine it was and so we didn’t know who it belonged to at first. Once I finally figured out which one was my drink, I had to say delicious moscato! We ordered the chicken caper and it was mediocre. Their salad tasted better than their chicken. We ordered it with a side of potato and spinach but they made a mistake and have us double potato and no spinach. We also ordered two desserts — the peach cobbler and the chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream which were both good, not great. They also never refilled our water and we were there for a few hrs! We had to ask for a refill on the bread otherwise they didn’t remember to check on that either. The bread was ok. Def not driving out of my way to eat here.
