This is one of those places where all the employees are a bunch of guys hanging out, and it’s not very professional. One guy behind the counter took his time greeting us, while another sitting in front of the counter checked out my body as a greeting, before telling us he didn’t have the part we needed. You’re only as good as your worst employee.

I was refered to them by a distributor for a product I needed, a thermostat for an old electric wall heater. I contacted them via phone. The woman that answered the phone was a non English speaker and did not understand why I was calling. After finally getting transferred to sales I spoke with a very rude gentleman. I provided him with the part number I was looking for, it had been provided to me from the corporation that made the heater. He took down the number and promptly told he would call me back and hung up. 24 hours later I still have not heard back from him. i ended up ordering the part elsewhere, I would not recommend anyone even bothering with calling or trying to business with this company! Total waste of time!

(I am a general contractor in their neighborhood) It continues to befuddle me as to who these people’s customers are. Frequently they are indifferent, and uniformed. They will leave you on hold forever. They will overcharge you(i have seen them try to gouge experienced electricians. Uck !

They are a lighting wholesaler: LED lighting, halogen, CFLs, etc. While a wholesaler, they cater to contractors/electricians but also service the smaller client(like home DIYers and project people, of which I am the latter). Walked in there today to get some LED lighting and the guy who helped me(I think his name was Michael) was super helpful. I was working on a school design project and he helped me immensely — from locating the right LED strips, transformers, connectors, and dimmers. The price was also reasonable. It’s tempting to buy stuff from online stores, but it’s always good to support local business, especially when they deliver a level of service that makes solving your problem a lot easier(and the pricing, after you account for shipping, is comparable). I’ll definitely be going back for future lighting projects. They have stuff for DIY home improvement types to do under cabinet LED strip lighting, lighting fixtures, and all that. They also had a ton of electrical related products — wire strippers, tool pouches, line testers, etc. I have a feeling I’ll be coming here for more lighting projects in the future, especially since I’ve been bitten with the electrical tinkering bug.
