Hand’s down the best espresso on the West Side. Great, friendly staff with quick service.

Great coffee. We came on a Saturday at 12 pm and found a seat at one of their four tables. They also have two little counter areas to sit. Us and three other people were working on computers, but not sure if there was wifi as we weren’t using. Latte and cap were beautiful and delicious. Staff was nice. They have a bathroom. Space was a little sterile and not as cozy for my taste. Art and music generic but overall we had a good experience.

Weird vibe in that store, not too friendly. The big fellow is not nice. The cappuccinos are good but not hot enough. I asked for extra hot which was totally ignored. Too expensive for such attitude.

We come here often for coffee and pastries. The café lattes are really good and my favorite pastries are the raspberry vanilla tart and the apple strudel. The apple strudel has not been stocked in a few months so I’m really hoping it comes back soon(hint hint). Great ambiance too. My little one really likes the muffins.

Mediocre coffee and bad service. My husband and I have been going to this coffee shop on and off for 6 years because of its ambience. It’s as «European» as you can get in LA. But if you care for great coffee do yourself a favor and go to Groundworks just up the street. Or even intelligentsia in Venice or Silver Lake — hands down the best! Service this morning was just awful and the blond Batista with a ponytail does not deserve to make coffee for people. There was a HUGE line and I was holding my little dog — which I’m not supposed to do and I pledge guilty– but COMEON! If you need your coffee, you need your coffee! And this coffee shop was on my way. The blond barista kept giving me very uncomfortable evil looks while I was in line. I almost left before even getting to the register… that’s how uncomfortable he make me feel! I got my mediocre and f*** cold Americano because I wasn’t going to get a cappuccino from that guy… he looked like he could poison my coffee lol The guy at the register was clearly not a master on customer service and the way he handled the fact of my dog not being a service dog was just pathetic. And what if my dog was a service dog?! Their rudeness would had been even worse. Very disappointed! I guess mediocre will always be mediocre. Mediocre coffee, bad service.

Really nice cappuccino. Not too milky… Friend had an americano that had plenty of crema. Will definitely be back. The interior was a bit chilly(both the temperature and the hard aluminum design).

Great caffe latte, but not much vibe or traffic coming thru the place. I guess it was also 11am on a Monday — probably slow. Would definitely try again!

Great coffee here! I love the ambiance as well. It’s pretty quite and chill. I love coming here to work for a bit. They play really good music too. I like to just get black coffee whether it’s drip or americano. So far, everything i’ve tried has been amazing. Their lattes are also to die for! So smooooth.

Really tasty coffee, really yummy treats, and even good tea! Luxxe is a great spot for locals, and visitors alike. A couple things to note, there’s no wifi. also, the tables are pretty close together so if its a crowded day or time of day, its not the best for cozy/private conversations. If you want a tasty gourmet coffee though, this is the spot.

This might be some of the best espresso I have had in LA. Creamy, light, and amazing! average priced, and worth it!

Quite simply one of the best coffee shops on the Westside. This place is just consistently serving high quality drinks. I recommend the cappuccino, shakerato, and the Gibraltar.

Very good espresso based drinks and an out of this world almond croissant that I am still dreaming about. Plus the space is bright, open, and inviting.

My very favorite espresso in LA. I wish there was a location in the Palisades. The staff is really nice and I try and go once a day.

Their espresso drinks seem to be better than drip coffee. I came here bc everyone is nuts about it – I got a café au lait the first time and was super disappointed. I got a cappuccino the second time and it was mindblowingly good. Will definitely be back to try more of their options!

Café Luxxe isn’t cheap but there’s a reason for that: their coffee(really) hits the spot and their store looks like a true Parisian salon de thé! Highly recommend also if you want to have a better chance of spotting a celebrity than pretty much anywhere else in town.

I love coffee but can’t have caffeine because it gives me migraine headaches. I came in here for a decaf mocha. I even double checked when the cup was on the counter«this is decaf, right?» And the guy hesitated and said yes. Well, he was wrong. It was regular coffee and made me sick the whole day. I will not be coming back.

They have their own roasts, which always makes for a fun experience. Guys behind the counter were unbelievably nice, and happy to talk shop for a bit before I ordered. They seem to endeavor to be purists; one indication of this is that they serve a baby cappuccino, which I have never heard of, and that sounds like what most people are doing for macchiatos these days, so I assume that the macchiato is truly just a dollop of foam. Anyway, kind of cool, and worth a visit because they are doing something different. The service is truly«as good as it gets».(Particularly the young guy who I think was Kyle and seems like he may do standup of something on the side.)

Great friendly service who give great recommendations. Delicious coffee(though slightly on the pricier side). Outlets, chairs and tables galore(both bar stool style and regular seats). Natural lighting. What more could a person want out of a coffee shop?

This excellent coffee addition to Montana Avenue is what Montana needed. Although there is no outside seating, there is a chic interior with simple, yet classy feel. The knowledgeable, friendly, and fun baristas brew Luxxe’s own roasts. My cappuccino had the perfect blend of espresso, milk, and foam. The java itself is earthy and a bit nutty with an even keel flavor and a slightly bitter finish. Slightly bitter in a good way.

delicious coffee! parking can be tricky, theres a small parking lot in the back, but they share it with other businesses, so most likely you will be street parking –inside is small and decorative –employees are helpful and patient when ordering –i got the gibraltar and kenyan drip –both were good! they didn’t have that«acidic/sour» taste at the end, which i love –have a small section of pastries on the side

Great cappuccinos! ALMOST on par with Intelligentsia.
