Il Primo Passo

Great place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the am & do some reading outside or to grab one cup to go and have a nice walk on Montana! Lots of options nearby but this one is a pretty good! Walking distance from my place! :)

Beverly Hills shopping is overrated.
Too many tourists and the natives are intolerable. To say it is pretentious is being conservative.
So if I’ve just kicked myself off the reservation.
Where else can I go for high end shoes?
Il Primo Passo which I’ll refer to as IPP from this point forward, is the answer to my prayers.
Its on Montana, so that comes with its own level of pretension but once you step foot into this small little shoe shop, where the shoes are lovely and unique (Why hello, there Rupert Sanderson pumps) and the owner Beth and her staff are equally as lovely if not more so, I can’t imagine ever going back to Rodeo ever ever again.
Little sweet spots:
In the morning you’ll be offered espresso.
In the afternoon and evening they have complimentary wine.
(Wow, they really have me pegged. Coffee, wine and shoes– Is he taken?)
IPP «the first step,» made an amazing first impression. I’ll be back again soon.

I come to LA a lot for business and stumbled across Il Primo Passo on Montana Street. They have a great selection of high end harder to find designers. The staff is extremely helpful and they even have cute baby shoes for new moms. They also offer wine or organic coffee while you shop. Not to be missed!

Il Primo Passo is fabulous! The décor is amazing and very inviting. The staff is extremely helpful and Luca the dog is so cute! Definitely enjoy some wine while you browse… it is hard not to fall in love with everything!
