Worst service ever. I always shop at Nordstrom and get coffee afterwards but no more going to get coffee. Rude female workers and most of them look miserable. They should not be in customer service industry!

I alway look forward to getting my fav drink which is their vanilla chai latte! I accidental order something else and when I realized it was my fault the barista still made me the drink I initially wanted! Talk about customer service! I think this place deserves five starts for efficiency, and their great customer service !

Great prompt service and yummy coffee. I’ve been coming here for a year or so. Sitting area outside to relax and drink your coffee. I’ve had most of the coffee drinks and no complaints. Pastries, salads and sandwiches are delish and come in handy for a quick bite when you barely have time to eat.

I had little hope for this based on the location and the bland décor. Not to mention horrible customer service attitude wise but that is given based on the brand. They actually made a decent latte. Nothing to write home about but decent.

It’s an every day affair! Oh coffee– how I love the– let me count the ways… This is my favorite local coffee place in Santa Monica mall! I come here nearly every day and I must say that the coffee more than rivals Starbucks! What makes this place you ask? The people who work there– Kim, Leo, Bryant, and Rory are the best! Somehow they manage to make their customers feel really special. They are always really happy to see the regulars and they make sure to pay attention to the details. What makes the coffee special? They calibrate the machine very regularly to ensure that you’re getting the best cup of coffee you could possible have! Strong is an understatement– I feel buzzed the whole day after ordering here!
What do I like to get? I usually get the grande extreme ice storm with a little bit of whip and coco powder on top! This, trust me = SUPER YUM! And when I ask please toast my cinnamon raisin bagel till brown, they do! (The devil is in the details people, because I do notice!)
Stop in and say hi to my favorite baristas in the world! They got it right when it comes to customer service. If you want the people to keep coming back, be welcoming and sincere. And we do! (Nodding! Trust me, we do!!) :)
Extras — There’s a little patio just outside if you want to chat with a friend or sit with your fresh brew of java!

These baristas take their time to make an awesome coffee. They always seem to nail it everytime. I love coming here in the mornings before work. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Thanks guys for making it so awesome everytime.

Such a sweet girl in the counter. Everytime i go there she is smiling and greeting customers… I had the chai tea latte spiced 2 weeks in a row and my friend had the sick tea!!! Both were amazing. They also server wraps and salad cookies cakes. Of course they are on the pricey side but their collection is really good. Their chai tea is better than starbucks a lot more flavor

Ordered some sort of pineapple blended drink, waited over 10 minutes for it because I guess the girl who was making it was new, which is fine. However, the short haired Asian girl training her was so rude and made her so nervous that she spilled most of my drink on the counter. I was kind of bummed because I figured I would have to wait another 10 minutes for her to remake it except, SHE DIDN’T REMAKE IT. She poured whatever was left in the blender into a cup and gave it to me! It was only half full. I paid for a full cup, there should be no reason that she tried to pass this crap off as if nothing was wrong. I politely asked the short haired Asian girl to remake it, and she snatched it from my hand and tossed it in the trash. I could see her belittling the original girl who had made my drink. She finally made it and placed it on the counter. No apology, no «have a nice day», nothing! I walked off with the drink and it tasted like utter crap. I tossed it after one sip.
Bottom line: Don’t come here if you expect quality drinks and quality service.

Great little spot. I was starving and needed quick food fast. I ducked in here to check out their food options. It only appeared that they had pre-​made food so I spent $ 6.50 and took a chance on the Chipotle Chicken Wrap. Although it was nothing special, it was not soggy, tasted fresh and you could discern between all of the ingredients — lean chicken breast, tomatoes, red onion, lettuce, and a little shredded cheese. This isn’t a gourmet stop but when you’re in a pinch and need something fast, their food options looked similar but a notch better than what you would find at Starbucks. Can’t wait to try the coffee and other options.

Real time shopping is tantamount to fashionista/​frugalista boot camp.
Think about it.
There’s mental preparation to allow zero distraction from the item/​task intention.
There’s physical stamina to paw through rack after rack for hours on end to find the desired item (s).
There’s détente not only between fellow shoppers but also with retail staff.
There’s haggling depending on the shopping venue.
There’s fatigue in the form of hunger or thirst.
Enter eBar, an oasis to refuel, regroup to deploy reenergized. A Tropical Green Tea Refresher fully caffeinated did the job for me, a cool sip on their shaded, wifi equipped patio. Hungrier shoppers can recharge with light bites, sandwiches, salads or smoothies served up quickly by efficient, friendly baristas!

DO NOT go here unless you want to get scammed out of your money. I ordered a regular black and white mocha and payed almost $ 5 for it… and what did I get instead? A crappy cup of plain black coffee. What’s funny is that the guy, Hispanic wearing glasses that I recall, understood me perfectly and even asked if I wanted whipped cream on it. He was pretty quick to make it and hand it to me which I thought was strange but I figured it was normal since I was the only one there. I didn’t realize until I was in the car that I had gotten scammed. Bet he pocketed the money too. Never have I had an experience such as this at Starbucks or any other coffee joint. I used to love going to get coffee here but now I get so heated thinking about that experience that I won’t ever again. Thanks thieving ebar employee. –_–

I visit this Ebar on the daily since I work right near it, and always have a phenomenal experience. This incredibly personable staff is always able to put a smile on my face, and have me leaving ready to start my day. They’ve gotten me to step out of my normal drink routine, and actually got me to have a new favorite! Terrific job Nordstrom Ebar Santa Monica team, I will always be a loyal customer because of you guys! :)

Great coffee & food. Unfortunately, there were nats flying around & all over the food 3 different times I went there. Completely ruined my appetite

When you’ve shopped until you’ve dropped and shopped a bit more simply stop by E-​Bar for a quick «pick-​me-​up.» As a former employee of a local boutique, I spent my break time grabbing a two shot espresso macchiato with extra foam. This staff is always consistent on the outcome of the order who is working. A big win! Plus, they write your name on the cup :)

Great place to grab a coffee and a healthy snack! They also have different flavors of iced tea and even hard boiled eggs. When I’m in a rush I always come by here in the Santa Monica Place!

Love the staff here. Always so friendly and upbeat.
Don’t be intimidated by the long lines, they always get through them fast.
Also have great sandwiches and salads if you are looking for a quick bite but don’t want to battle the Café line. I love the Chicken and Arugula pasta salad, and also the chicken and basil sandwich. No seating around there to enjoy it, except for two benches by the escalators in the mall. I prefer to sit outside near the sky bridge and enjoy my lunch on my break.

This eBar has one of the best lattes in Santa Monica Place. I realize there are a ton of competitors including some high end coffeehouses, but the eBar somehow turns out a superior product.
Don’t buy the beans if you have a machine which makes your own lattes at home – like a Jura or Capresso etc. The House blend is really oily and will force you to go buy cheap Costco-​like dry beans to absorb all of the oil. (You can dump the finished product down the sink).

Its a coffee stand with a nice outdoor seating area Santa Monica Mall. Nothing special about this place. Does the job of getting a quick fix and chill.
