I have been going to this place for the longest time. Perla the owner is a great colorist and hairstylist. Every three months or so she dyes, highlights, cuts and blow dries my hair and I have never had a complaint… It is always perfecto!
All the people working here are very professional and friendly. They make Santa Monica seem like a small town with their friendly warm style which is a good thing in my book.

Great service, talented workers. Everyone here has a great attitude and work ethic, been getting my hair cut with a lady here for about twenty years!

I’m writing this review based on a fairly sketchy memory since I was at this place just one year ago. I went there because the Fantastic Sams in the same neighborhood had closed and one of the employees I liked had moved to Cindy’s. I don’t recall the cut I got; it must have been okay or I would have remembered it if it was awful.
What I do remember about the place was that their hours seemed weird; I asked when they closed and I was told it depended on how late their appointments ran. I also remember that when I was there, all the other customers were little old ladies with blue hair, so I figured one probably shouldn’t expect any trendy or radical cuts or styling at this salon.
After that I discovered the Fantastic Sams in the CVS Pharmacy shopping center at Santa Monica and 26^th Street, and I’ve been going there ever since.
