Wow this place is meth tweekers paradise. Some of the zombies walking around this place definitely have warrants out for their arrest. Plus this place sucks went looking for a bathing suit, not one. Was told«we are a seasonal store». No not really your a low income slave chain that coaches workers how to live off government supplement’s cause you don’t pay your workers a living wage.

I went into the Wal-Mart on Cerrillos Road in Santa Fe, NM recently and I was appalled! I witnessed a man pushing his«BIG» dog inside the grocery cart. It was NOT a service dog. One of the customers said he does that all the time, and she wasn’t impressed either. She said«He takes his dog everywhere». ARE U KIDDINGME!!! If you HAVE a service dog you are required to have a service vest on them. ANd they walk beside the owner. This is very unsanitary and I am sure it is a Health Code Violation. When I approahed the manager he said that I should email the corporate WALMART that there was nothing HE could do about it. This sets a VERY bad example and will only fuel the fire and become«THEIRSTATUSQUO.» Is this an acceptable practice for a store who handles food for the consumer, I THINKNOT! With all the Ecoli and unsafe practices, do we need to push the boundries further?

I never thought I’d review a Walmart, but now that we are temporarily homeless evacuees… we are needing some essential items that it’s been nice to get so cheaply here. I got shorts and a t-shirt for $ 12, plus a $ 5 dress for my daughter and $ 12 swim trunks for my husband. I realize these are not items that will last forever, but for this week’s purposes I am grateful for the rock bottom prices Walmart has on everything from makeup to cleaning supplies. bonus: they have a neat art section where we found lots of fun things to do projects with… crucial for killing time with a 3 year old!

My Green Shopping Scheme Revolves around Walmart Santa Fe~~ Driving all over town and Santa Fe County trying to find things for the household and kitchen is a gas-guzzling proposition. Walmart is your one-stop shop. Need a prescription filled? Start doing it at their pharmacy, and let the husband go look at tools, fishing poles and plants while you wait for them to fill it. Beauty products galore await you at Santa Fe’s Walmart store. Need comestibles? You can survive on what this regular Walmart offers; they just don’t have fresh produce like fruits and vegetables. However, one can buy frozen berries and meats at Walmart Santa Fe. For a real selection of necessities including fabulous fresh produce, I recommend Walmart Española. When the left-wing powers-that-be finally allow the planned Walmart Superstore to be built, everything will be available there, consumers in Santa Fe city and county will be able to save even more gasoline, and perhaps traffic will be eased on Cerrillos Road. Walmart sells wonderful bicycles and sporting goods. You can stock up on tennis balls there, too. I bought a nice mat for Pilates, made by Gold’s Gym, for less than twenty bucks. I detest shopping, but will tolerate a trip or two to Walmart Santa Fe once or twice a month. The store’s staff-members are pleasant and helpful, mostly natives of Santa Fe. You can cultivate a relationship with them, and will be welcomed warmly each time you shop there – if you have the right attitude. People who used to scorn Walmart and Sam’s Club are now showing up there, ever since the burgeoning threat of having their future ransomed by trillions in «stimulus» giveaways raised its hideous head. Yes, as the old saying goes: in a storm, the upper branches of a tree can touch the lower ones…
