I love sprouts marinara spaghetti sauce! Also I love the fact that they have lots of fresh produce and natural foods, since I’m going to be starting a change in my diet for the new year. I just wish the employees there would not make me feel horrible about me either choosing their line or store. Not discouraging anyone from going there, they are friendly, to others. I have yet to receive a greeting or even a thank-you unless I put forth the effort to say it first.

You need to be very careful about what you buy here.
The bulk cheeses often have plastic wrap that is ripped open, resulting in areas that are dry and discolored. I accidentally bought a ripped package once and had to throw out about ¼ of the cheese block. I’m always careful to check the packaging now, and usually have to dig a bit to find a package that isn’t ripped open.
They have good meat sales, but the cases often contain old packages with the old, non-sale price. Again, I’ve been hosed on this one too. Unfortunately, the cashiers aren’t able to refund the difference — you have to return the package and purchase a new one (waiting in those slow lines twice).

I’m a fan of Sprout because of their selection of organic produce and their reasonable prices. I find that the customer service I receive at Sprouts is courteous and friendly. It’s also conveniently located at the north end of town so I can pick up my groceries and head home to Espanola.

It’s Sprouts — great produce at decent prices, high priced body care products, etc. Lousy customer service at this location, though.
Today I got in line behind a Sprouts employee who was buying stuff. The cashier couldn’t figure out how to do the employee discount. It took the two of them, and a third cashier, almost 10 minutes to figure it out. Meanwhile, nobody apologized for the wait, or offered to let me go first, or even noticed me waiting.
When it was finally my turn, I greeted the cashier. Her emotionless response: «I need your zip code.» And then the bagger proceeded to bag my items (baby back ribs from the hot food bar) upside down so they would leak inside the bags.
Worst Sprouts experience I’ve had, between various locations in Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Denver, and Boulder. These employees need some serious customer service training and evaluation.

Yes, like everyone says, it’s not cheap — prices feel about normal, and if you shop their coupons you can get out ok. But it’s clean, the staff seem ok to be there, fruit and veg is fresh — and they do a great sandwich for $ 3.99…

A poor ending for Sunflower Farmers Market. Since Sprouts took over, prices have risen considerably. Whole Foods is now a reasonable alternative. Moreover, I was in Sprouts the other day and their «sale» price on several items represented a savings of, no kidding, one cent! Wow! Even Albertson’s does better than this. Looks like I’m shopping at Whole Foods from now on.

I’ve been shopping here a long time when it was called Sunflower. It’s easier to park than the north side Sprouts at DeVargas mall. Today I caught the cashier charging me for 5 heads of romaine instead of the 2 that I had. She quickly corrected her mistake but there was not a hint of an apology, not even an «oops.» This would of been unimaginable when it was Sunflower. I doubt I will go back to this location.

What I like best about Sprouts is their reasonably priced produce section and bulk foods. Also, they are busy but not crazy busy like some other stores. I think that the customer service has changed for the better (from the old Sunflower to Sprouts).

Very nice market. Clean. Friendly staff. I like that they have an iPhone app for their weekly sales. I think of all the grocery stores in town, I like the produce and the produce prices here the most.

I LOVE THIS STORE! The produce is all super fresh. Great bargains with the weekly add. Amazing meats/deli counter section. Fresh seafood. Tons of health care products that you can’t find anywhere else. This is now the only place I am going to shop!
