Not sure how to report, but this business is CLOSED! We went during their presumably open hours, to consistently closed doors. Finally ran into some hoomins dismantling the place. Alas, they have closed.

I stopped in while waiting for the train back to Albuquerque. It was close by and would provide something warm to drink(and keep my hands warm). They have wi-fi and the salted caramel latter was pretty tasty. Nothing spectacular. It was a bit off-putting to walk in to a jumble of stacked tables and chairs(their outdoor seating brought in due to cold?). And the service was suuuuuper slow. Especially considering there wasn’t anyone in front pf or behind me in line.

Nice place/atmosphere and friendly service. Brewed coffee has sweet tones to it and is quite good, however it was not nearly hot enough on this day.

This place is simply gorgeous and relaxing. It’s a perfect outing and an awesome place to visit after dinner or for an afternoon stroll on the weekends. Me and my gf came here after our dinner at Vinaigrette which is actually within walking distance, maybe a 15 or 20 minute walk but we ended up driving here. At first, she mentioned that she wanted to go to REI and I was like sure! It’s not something super special but I just wanted to take a nice walk. And when we got there it was actually one of the coolest and ecletic mixes of shops/restaurants/sights I’ve seen. There are several other retail stores and about 5 or so restaurants. I think one of the first things you notice is this really big/wooden water tower that is right NEXT to the Express rail line. This just blows my mind b/c the rail line runs right through the middle of the of this area, so you can be shopping/eating and a rail just happens to be like 30 feet away from you. So cool. Walk across the street and you stumble upon a real gem. There’s a nice outdoor park/garden/playground area. It’s was really amazing to walk around here because everything was so well maintained. There’s an outdoor piano you can play, some bar bells, etc. I think some of it are just artists installations which is cool an unsual to see at a place like this. There was also a central focus on this area where there was a hanging bench where you could just relax and hangout. This was definitely one of the best places we went to in Santa Fe for me. p. s.- you may or may not sumble upon homeless people sleeping and get really surprised.

I had 25 minutes to get a coffee and catch my train, which was going to be right outside the coffee shop. I timed this, as I really wanted a lovely latte for that 2 hour trip back to ABQ. I walked in, there were 3 people in line in front of me… it took 15 minutes for those 3 people to be helped. When it was my turn, the man behind the counter didn’t look at me, opened the drawer, and started counting out his receipts. I just had to wait… I finally ordered my drink, paid, and went to wait some more. I then realized that ALL the people in the coffee shop were also waiting for their orders! The barista lady was washing dishes and cleaning up… I looked out the window and saw my train arrive! I knew I had a few minutes still before my departure. The next drink she delivered was to someone who wasn’t even in the line in front of me when I arrived… If I waited for my coffee I was going to miss my train. I went up to the bar and told her to go ahead and cancel my order, as there wasn’t time. She looked genuinely surprised and asked how many drinks I had ordered? I said just 1, and she gave me a coupon for a free drink next time… but honestly I don’t know if I would go back even for a free drink.(I gave 2 stars because she tried to make things right by giving me the coupon.)

Friendly staff, great atmosphere. I checked out the coffeeshop while in town on business. Would definitely come back the next time I return to town.

Station Cup is currently my favorite coffeeshop in Santa Fe. The location is beyond convenient for access to the Rail-yard, Plaza, Rail-runner and my house. They’ve redone the interior to make it more comfortable with purple cushions and some nice throw pillows. They opened their doors before the scheduled 8AM time to accommodate their customers. When I said«You’re open early,» they didn’t even realize! Shout out to Robert the barista– so nice and friendly. All the staff are super accommodating! They have an all-day free refill policy on drip and iced coffee. And they really don’t mind refilling!!! If you’re lucky, they’ll use their frozen coffee ice cubes to keep the brew strong. If they don’t use them, it’s a little weak. Overall, love the vibe, staff and location! Pastries didn’t arrive until 9am so eat first if you’re on the early shift. FREEPARKINGIFYOUPARKINTHEIRLOT! Don’t pay on the street.

These guys are located right by the Railyard so you can see the trains passing by. The coffee is nice and strong here, plus they’ve got a multitude of frozen drinks that are great for summer time that will cool you down on a hot Santa Fe day. The staff was really friendly and quick. Looking at the menu, I believe they had food items as well… I’ll be back to try some other items soon!

Such an inviting place! The barista was a character, personable and enthusiastic, made my kids laugh. The décor is unique, with interesting art pieces and installations, chandeliers and a huge mirror. My cappuccino was just perfect. We stayed for quite a while, watching the trains and people outside.

Ok coffee but the girl who works there was sweeping and mopping floors 2 hours before close. The guy that works there was taking out garbage and taking down umbrellas 2 hours before close. Gross and unprofessional.

Awesome place! My friends and I enjoyed the Chaucer’s cup and Fiji teas! The Chaucer’s cup is a blend of apple, mango, and mixed spices. The Fiji is a blend of pineapple and papaya. Both were really good, I recommend adding some honey in to add a bit more sweetness to the drinks. Overall awesome place, they also sell ice cream!

The coffee here is pretty good, not awesome, but the service is what takes it over the top. Folks at the counter were super nice — and get the lavender ice cream if it’s around. Preferably as an affogato.

This coffeehouse, located trackside in the Santa Fe Railyard, seemed so promising. I was especially excited because we were looking for coffee and ice cream and this place has both! But a place that boasts so much about being«always glad to see you» had better have above and beyond customer service. This was not what I saw and heard. More on this in a bit. You’d think that a unique coffeehouse like this one would also carry some funky and cool local roasts, but it’s just illy coffee. It’s fine, I guess. My HABANEROFUDGELATTE was good. I tried to order the most unique drink on the menu. The ice cream is local though… TAOSCOWICECREAM! Back to the customer service… While I waited for my drink, I watched the barista make a cappuccino for a customer. When he handed her the drink, she(obnoxiously) remarked that it seemed milkier than other cappuccinos she’s seen. Instead of calmly reacting in a customer-first tone, he snapped back and said that’s the way he makes it and if she wanted it done differently he would have the cashier make it. Yikes. She walked off and he went back to his drink making, clearly not glad to see her. Customers will be rude every now and then, but The Station needs to train its staff to react better. This played out in front of me and it was nothing but awkward.

Station is the coolest coffee house in SFe. However, cool does not mean you have the best coffee in town, it just means you’re cool. You’re thinking, but Patrick what the hell do you mean? Trust me dude this is an awesome chill place with great service and old timey Illy coffee. What is so cool about this place is the atmosphere. Dude it’s a part of the old railway station at the railyard. It is so sweet and cozy in there I could hang out all day. Only drawback is that they serve espresso drinks from coffee that was only great in the 1990’s and just good in the 2000’s. Today is 2013 and coffee has changed a lot. I don’t know what they have in Trieste Italy that they think their coffee is so good but I think it’s the crack they smoke because its not okay coffee. You want amazing coffee for an amazing coffee shop like the Station. Sorry for the rant, but with so many awesome coffee roasters here in the US of A today there is no reason to get canned coffee from Italy anymore, that was the 90’s. Back to my review of Station… Everything at Station is classy and classic. The service is fantastically amazing as the baristas and other servers are super nice and very attentive. The food they offer is minimal, just something to cater to the coffee, but still good. Like I said, the atmosphere is why I come here and what makes it so great. It’s totally a five star coffee shop minus the five star coffee. I know it’s harsh to ding them for the Illy coffee but its totally justified. If Better Day Café can import second tier micro roast beans from the Pacific Northwest then what’s to stop Station from importing beans a little closer to home and a lot better in taste.

I am a weekday New Mexico Railrunner commuter to Santa Fe and love this coffee shop conveniently located at the Santa Fe Depot train station. What a relief to have an option other than Starbucks! I never stray from my 12 oz cappuccino with skim because it is always made to perfection. If you stay and have your coffee, they give you a complimentary biscochito, which is always a yummy morning sweet treat. If that isn’t enough for your sweet tooth, you can always try any of their Taos-made ice cream – I highly suggest the lavender! They have free wifi which is always a plus. All in all, a fun stop on your morning commute.

We stopped at Station at the Railyard during our time in Santa Fe. We were pleasantly surprised with our order and experience. + Dog friendly patio + Delicious smoothies + Friendly staff The location is next to the train station and we happened to catch a stop while we were on the patio. It made for good people watching. :)

I want to like this place, because it’s in a hip area and it’s not a Starbucks. But I just can’t do it. I’ve been twice, each time to get a coffee-style drink and something to eat. Both times — 2 for 2 — they’ve forgotten about me and my food. My food and I? Whichever it is, I just can’t go back. I suppose, if you’re not in a hurry and don’t mind waiting 25 minutes(not an estimate, I got mad and started looking at my watch) for them to take the pre-made sandwich and set it on a grill(might’ve been a microwave!) for you, that’s fine. But both times, it’s clear that they’ve forgotten, and I’ve yet to receive an apology. (Why didn’t I go to the counter and ask about my food, you ask? Good question, with two answers. First, I shouldn’t have to. Second, the person at the counter never gave me a glance as he went to the next customers AND proceeded to make their food/drinks — while I waited for mine.) All that said, two stars because the coffee and food are fine; but the service is really, really disappointing.

The Good: Coffee cubes in the iced coffee, interesting sweet drinks for the pseudo-coffee lovers(try the habanero fudge latte), and friendly staff. The Bad: The espresso is a little off, lacks the warm nutty flavor of fresh bold beans. The Ugly: I cannot believe the barista used a plastic straw to put designs in my latte! BAD barista! Latte art is a craft, look it up, there is no straw involved!
