Santa Fe Oxygen & Healing Bar

Definitely check this place out! This is one of my most beautiful, peaceful, innovative and healing spaces I’ve ever been in.
I came here while on a road trip through Santa Fe, and I’m so glad I stopped by. I liked it so much I had to come back again the next day.
I didn’t do a healing session so I can’t comment on that, but I did do an oxygen session. The staff are very knowledgable, personable and cared so much that I really got what I needed.
The drinks are delicious, they make their own coconut milk and many amazing herbal teas, lattes and elixirs.

My first stop in Santa Fe after a long day of travel. I am sensitive to altitude and oxygen seems to help. I don’t know if it’s hocus pocus, but I enjoy the relaxation. This trip I got a 45 minute weary traveler package. Now I’m recharged and ready to roll!

I found this place by accident. I was leaving one establishment walked down the street and saw an open sign on the second floor of another establishment. It was 11pm, and the only places open in the Historic Quarter are bars or variants of bars. This place was literally a breath of fresh air. The owner and her staff were extremely polite and took the time to go over their menu and treatments. What really impressed me are the health infused cocktails, alternative remedies, and other items.
Typically I shun these types of places as they are usually run by complete scoundrels preying upon peoples insecurities or pressing health issues. However I found this place to be the complete opposite.

Santa Fe is well-​known for its WOO-​WOO creative crystal-​waving population — but our local woo-​woo is often so real & effective, it becomes a major WHO-​YOU experience. I spent the afternoon at such a place, offering a combination of energy-​shifting reiki, cranial-​sacral massage, aroma-​flavored oxygen treatment, flower mandala & crystal arrangements along energy meridians. followed by a flower-​essence spritz and herbal-​infused ‘cocktails’ with properties related to the treatment.
Verdict: unique & charming; these are very effective healers, having now gone for an additional session ~ and an ‘only in Santa Fe’ level experience for any visitor to The City Different.
If you are used to more traditional forms of massage & energy well-​being, be open minded to new experiences & give this place a try. it’s pretty awesome.

Fantastic experience. The massage is just what is needed after miles of gallery crawling. The drinks are refreshing and healthy. A really fun and healthy part of your visit leaving you ready for more. I highly recommend.

This place is awesome. Unusual, but great concept. Very nurturing, caring environment that I appreciated. Family run business. I would go back in a heartbeat!

For starters, the entire experience was effective and was well worth it. The only problem, was a big one, in my opinion.
After meeting the owner/​healer, you are asked to select a service based on time of session. I selected a $ 130 session that somehow turned into more than $ 300. After receiving a couples blessing of over an hour (I asked for 30 min), I was so relaxed that I wasn’t in the position to request an itemized list of services and/​or to protest the fact that I wasn’t informed that we would need to go OVER the agreed upon price.
Unfortunately, this business practice took away from the positive impact of the entire experience. I began to question the integrity of the business. This didn’t have to happen. A simple request by the healer to go past the time limit would have sufficed. Providing a range of pricing for this type of work would be even better.
I was also given the impression that drinks were included in the service, but that did not seem to be the case. Had the pricing been dealt with in a more respectful and business-​like manner, I would have easily given this place 5 stars.

Since you are reading this: #1 Congratulate yourself for finding this place and #2 Go there right now and be treated like royalty, and begin to feel well.
So, to tell the truth, places that claim to heal you are not usually my cup of tea since I am a classically western-​trained doctor (MD). However, upon traveling to Santa Fe for the first time, I came down with altitude sickness and a colleague recommended this oxygen and healing bar. I was suffering from acute mountain sickness (AMS) and had the classic symptoms of headache, dizziness, sinus pain, nausea, and lack of appetite. I came here while holding onto the walls for balance! The proprietor saw that I was unwell and immediately seated me, gave me a tonic water and suggested a sinus/​headache treatment with oxygen. I was taken to a back room where I was assisted in laying down on a massage table with a pillow under my legs and offered my choice of aromatherapy with the oxygen. A heavenly neck/​shoulder/​face massage was performed during the entire 45 minute oxygen treatment. Following the treatment I was offered my choice of refreshing (non-​alcoholic) cocktails and given advice about products for take home use. (The staff seemed genuinely concerned with my wellness, were not pushy, and were not put out when I declined.) The entire cost for the two driinks, the oxygen treatment, aromatherapy and massage was about what I would expect for the massage alone!
For those of you interested in the science: #1) 0xygen treatment is listed on the CDC website as useful for the acute relief of headache caused by AMS. #2) While claims of health benefits of oxygen therapy for those who are healthy are controversial, the health benefits of massage are well documented and most experts agree oxygen (in the concentration and duration given at oxygen bars) is not likely to be harmful. #3) hydration is important when treating altitude sickness and at Santa Fe Oxygen and Healing Bar they offer you tasty drinks before and after treatment. [PLEASE NOTE: If you are experiencing severe altitude symptoms (severe shortness of breath or mental status changes) go get medical help right away in a clinic or the ER.]
My summary: these people are amazing (thank yous to my therapists Noah and Eli!), caring, and professional. They made a rather unpleasant episode of altitude sickness improve dramatically and saved my vacation! This Unilocaler recommends without reservations!

Best place in Santa Fe!!! I love this place!!! I felt like a whole new person when I came out!!! The staff is wonderful, friendly and super awesome!!! I’m glad I decided to go in for oxygen therapy… Along with the oxygen I was given the most relaxing massage and their bar is AMAZING!!! If your in Santa Fe you would be crazy to pace this place up!!! Absolutely will return!!! Nothing but love and relaxation to be found in this beautiful place!

This is the most beautiful and thoughtful oxygen bar and healing place I have ever been to! My treatment was so relaxing and rejuvenating. I felt really special here!

It was my first time visiting Santa Fe or anywhere really with a high altitude and I started feeling sick a few hours after arriving. I had a headache, felt dizzy and pretty nauseous. I was willing to do just about anything to stop the sick feeling so that I could enjoy my stay here and that is when I found Santa Fe Oxygen and Healing bar.
I walked in, was hooked up to oxygen and given an amazing mineral «martini» and felt better within minutes. Just a quick 30 mins later and I felt like a new person and was able to walk around the city feeling fine.
I am a true believer now! Thank you Santa Fe Oxygen and Healing Bar.

Totally casual and relaxing. We walked in off the street and I opted for the minimum-​recommended 20-​minute oxygen treatment for $ 20 to ease my altitude sickness. I would totally do it again. I left feeling relaxed through my whole body and like all of my air passages finally had received enough oxygen. Also, very nice employees. I recommend it.

What an amazing place. Such a great energy and exactly what we needed after our long trip up there. I would recommend some of the drinks, along with the oxygen and healing treatments. She is truly a healer with a great intuition and great energy. This is a family owned business and has an incredible energy. It made our trip in Santa Fe!

I was in town for a few days and was interested in all the spas and massage being advertised in Santa Fe. If you are looking for a full energetic restoration and recharge, this is the place. I highly recommend one of the «healing sessions» offered, coupled with the oxygen treatment.
After wandering upstairs to the reception area, I was immediately welcomed and felt very comfortable with the open space. The healing sessions are done out in the open, clothed and very casual. For me, I was fortunate to be paired up with Austin and opted for a second session with Noah and Austin. These two guys are very humble and gifted healers. There is no ego here, just good feelings and healing energy if you are ready and open to receive it. The session was a great combo of light massage, reiki, cranio-​sacral therapy, chakra cleansing/​balancing and visualization. A wonderful experience that I highly recommend. Relaxing, energizing, balancing and recharging all in one session. Stop in and see for yourself. These guys are on the cutting edge of intuitive healing and energetic bodywork.

Kadeema greeted us at the street and instantly sensed that my wife needed her help. We agreed to try the oxygen, with a foot massage for me, and a shoulder and neck tension reliever for my wife. Without being specific about the treatment that was given, I must say that the results were fantastic! Their ability to «listen» to your body is amazing. Her associate, Austin, was very thorough and found other spots in my body that needed attention, just by being in tune with my body. Great therapy! Be open to trying new experiences.

Nice people, terrible results. My blood oxygen level actually went down after a 30 min./$ 30 treatment. I told the woman that was helping me it didn’t seem like any oxygen was being given, but she didn’t believe me. Save your money and get a shot of caffeine…
