Agree with Kelly and Regina– customer service is AWFUL. Rude, unprofessional and not knowledgable about their products. You’d think with previous reviews regarding this issue, they’d overhaul their staff. Jeesh! I’m trying to shop locally but they lost at least 2 customers today and a bunch more once I talk to my many Santa Fe friends.

LOUSY customer service and unhelpful clerks. Very disappointing because they have nice inventory. I will not shop here again. Now We’re Cooking in Albuquerque has many of the same inventory and they are actually FRIENDLY and HELPFUL when you shop there.

I signed up for Johnny Vee’s Italian cooking class. I was very nervous since I am not exactly an expert in the kitchen. The class and my classmates were great! Very fun. My teammates and I pulled off a somewhat complicated desert with great success… If you are thinking about taking a class… you should!

I rarely go in this store because the staff is unbelievably rude and unfriendly. When I do go to this store, it’s because I need something immediately that I can’t wait for Sur La Table to deliver. I went in today and immediately approached by the rudest sales woman. She wasn’t helpful and was condescending toward me. This is why people don’t shop here and why this shop is always empty — the staff unforgivably rude. I’ll never shop here again. Get off your high horse, Las Cosas. You’re a kitchen shop, nothing else. Time to replace all the old grumpy sales people with a friendly staff.

This kitchen shop is beautiful and has almost everything you need. Unfortunately, the staff is rude, unpleasant, and haughty. The seem as though they are better than the people who shop there and just plain unfriendly. I live very close to this shop and have to drive all the way out of town to get my kitchen supplies because I’ve had so many negative experiences at Las Cosas.

We signed up for a cooking class here taught by a chef instructor representing a manufacturer of pressure cookers because we wanted to learn more about using our pressure cooker. He never washed his hands. Troubling at first and then a downright food safety nightmare when he used bare hands to transfer raw chicken to the pot. He then wiped his hands on a dishtowel and put the contaminated dish towel on a cutting board that was later used to cut up raw carrots. One of the owners of the store was sitting watching the demo and never spoke up. We left without tasting any of the dishes, not willing to risk a food borne illness. We spoke to someone on the way out and mentioned why we were leaving early. And since we knew there were two more classes scheduled the next day, we called the manager to make sure someone would speak to him. It was the first the manager had heard of it. Thanked us for the call but didn’t apologize or in any way try to win us back as customers.
