Clean, quiet, really comfortable beds, good breakfast, price is right AND our dog was given a really nicely wrapped biscuit. woof! Will stay again!

I ended up booking a room here at the last minute as my car decided to die while visiting Abiquiu and this was close to where it was being serviced. It has obviously been recently renovated, which is something that they advertise. My room was extremely comfortable, quiet, and came with a fridge, microwave, and desk. They also offer a decent free breakfast. If you have AAA, and/or are part of the Choice Rewards Program, and/or are staying more than one night, you can get some shockingly good rates on top of what are already good rates. Just be sure you stress you want a room with the extra amenities, which will likely not cost you any more than their basic rooms. Yes, this is on the less-fashionable south side, near the mall and all the service industries of Santa Fe. It also does not offer access from any convenient side streets, which means you will likely need to make a U-turn in Cerrillos traffic to get here if you are heading south. It’s a little hard to spot from the street. Though there are many nearby conveniences and some very good restaurants in the area, getting around isn’t going to be as easy as it is on the Plaza — which is a good 15−20-minute drive from here. Still, if you are traveling on a budget, in Santa Fe on business which is not oriented to the Plaza, or found your 4-night stay in the area has now become a 9-night emergency(thanks, car), this is an excellent choice. I’ve stayed in trendier hotels that did not offer the customer service or amenities.

This hotel is great, friendly staff, ultra clean rooms and a fair price. Not too far from old town. We made a good choice.

Spoke with the Owner about our concerns. He took care of the problem.

I don’t know if all the other reviews were outdated, but we had a wonderful stay at the comfort inn. It was incredibly clean and the breakfast was great. The staff was very helpful for the price I don’t think there’s a better place to stay in Santa Fe. Highly recommended to anyone traveling.

We’re moving across country with our dog. This place is listed on as dog friendly. For the extra charge, we got relegated to the basement, in a room with no bathtub or closet, and a window facing a concrete wall 4 feet away. Workers are banging around in the halls and setting off alarms repeatedly… of course there’s nothing they can do about that. But my little dog lets out one happy bark in the afternoon and 2 minutes later there’s a call from the front desk, and I get lectured. If you’re not dog friendly, don’t claim to be.

Wow I am surprised by the horrible reviews, it’s not top of the line but not super nasty either. Checkin was great, freindly desk staff. I asked if my bike would be safe on my car, the response in four years she couldn’t think of any problems. Yes there are things that can be updated but I didn’t pay $ 200 for my room, I didn’t expect luxery. Overall my room is clean and comfy. I’m on the no smoking floor so don’t notice an odor. I am not sticking around for breakfast but I am guessing the workers that someone complained about taking up the breakfast room space were probably paying customers. My complaint the hot tub isn’t «hot» the shower was more soothing. The pool room definately needs a paint job.

Stayed here only because we not able to find another room in this town that had 2 beds and was on first floor or had an elevator. My son is in a wheelchair and you would be surprised how many Sante Fe hotels have more than one floor but no elevator. First the pros… we were able to get a room, staff was friendly … that’s it. The cons are its old, grimy looking, everything is falling apart and the AC sucks. Barely works. I really hate to gripe since we got a room but they need to update… and quick. Gross. Everything looks dirty.

Book elsewhere if you can. Hotel reeks of smoke and ??? despite«non-smoking» hallway. We are unable to get any other last minute hotel in Santa Fe because of an intl art festival. Wifi speed also unbearable. Using 3G to write this review since its faster. Going to bed then leaving ASAP in the morning.

The staff was not helpful whatsoever! The«hot breakfast» was the worst thing I have ever tasted. Not only that, when I went to get fruit because the hot food was so bad, there was only a couple of inedible oranges. I will never stay there again!

do not stay at this run down, smelly motel that has windows that wont stay open, breakst area full of workers so guests have no place to sit cant find front desk staff to complain, soap smell on carpet in room, dinged up halls, front desk clerk at comfort suites down street even talks how bad it is ! and dont forget to inspect toilet to see the feces smeared on the front!
