One star is generous. Called up Bill and made an appointment for a Saturday (their request, not mine) with the standard 2 hour window. 2.5 hours after the beginning of the appointment window there was no repair person and no phone call, until the following Tuesday morning. I wish I would of read the reviews before wasting my time, and at least they didn’t show up and waste my money too like a few of the other reviews on here. Save your time and money, call a professional.

My dad’s refrigerator was making odd noises and wouldn’t cool. I called Allied and Bill got his repairman out. The guy came out, took the back of the refrigerator off and said it needed a new compressor, didn’t test anything and was in a hurry to leave, said would cost $ 1500 to repair and probably best to get a new refrigerator even though this one was only about 6 years old. Had another large appliance repair company come out today to check it and they tested everything thoroughly and said it needed a new circuit board only and that would be $ 317. I would not call these folks again.

My 10 year old Bosch dishwasher stopped working just before New Years Day. I called Allied and Bill came with an assistant. They asked me what was wrong with the dishwasher, and the assistant went under the sink and checked a pipe for a clog. No clog. He never turned on the dishwasher, and kept asking me questions and saw that the water in the dishwasher was not draining. Both he and Bill told me that my dishwasher was too old and that I should just get a new one. They charged me $ 50. and that was it. I would not recommend calling Allied because they did not have a clue. Appliance Service Center came and saved the day and in a matter of minutes my dishwasher was repaired.
