Started off great, very personable Waitress, knowledge of the history of Otto’s, funny just a great personality. Order is in and expecting nothing but the standard Otto’s overwhelming meal, I will not be denied. As expected and not disappointed. Wow, how can one chain be soon good everywhere. This place needs more space, aircraft and mostly more train stuff on the walls, way to bright., more like the original and the other locations, just getting started, I know but ask for help. I love these guys & gals. Until next time, God bless and watch the heat.

SO. MUCH. FOOD. Unique hashbrowns are what sold me. Biscuits and gravy are one of the best I’ve had. Will definitely return !

Huge portions, we always split a plate so we don’t have leftovers. Great value for the food and decent service. Breakfast there is like some of the GREAT places we went to when living in MN.

Pretty disappointed. I’ll preface this with: I love omelets and I love chicken livers BUT the bacon/chicken liver omelet was the saddest omelet I’ve ever eaten. The livers were completely unseasoned and were not browned at all. There was a lot of bacon but there was also a lot of onion and green peppers that looked like they’d been boiled. I couldn’t find the cheese. When I sliced into it there was a bunch of water on my plate like some of the components were sitting in water prior to assembling the breakfast. My husband had the Popeye omelet and there was this HUGE blob of boiled spinach in the middle. Also completely unseasoned. Also… — The waitress kept making faces and having shudders of disgust at my order. Not. Cool. — They had the radio on and the speakers were shot and distorted; this isn’t the ambiance I want to experience while eating out. We asked them to be turned down and were ignored. — I spent the next hour in the bathroom so something was definitely up with that omelet. All in all I recommend trying somewhere else.

3 stars because the ham is large and the SD toast is great, other than that the coffee is burnt, eggs are undercooked on the inside and over cooked outside, potatoes so oily there’s a puddle on the plate lol Oh and they have Apple Butter well worth $ 20.00

It’s a good breakfast place, good omelettes, great portions. Samuel B. You’re a douche giving it a 1 star, because of a silly mistake. I’ve been here 10 times not one mistake. How about paying attention when she’s going over your order with you. Can’t put all the blame on her, cause you’re a dumb*** not paying attention either. Anytime we work out here for the studios, we come eat at Crazy Ottos and the crew always loves it. Most every one can’t finish there food. Haha

Locals love it because of the huge portions, but the ludicrous sized portions are of mostly mediocre food, no better than Denny’s. The Chili Cheese Dog Omelette would be better if they were making a decent chili and using higher quality franks, but instead, it’s just a mish-mosh of inferior ingredients. I did appreciate that they made fresh biscuits for the biscuits and gravy. The place gets a good crowd, for weekend breakfast at least.

Well the portions are huge! I had their amazing omelet with mushrooms, onions, cheddar cheese, and tomatoes. Very tasty! This came with home fries that had bell peppers and onions, dinner rolls and I had a large glass of grape fruit juice.

Very disappointed in this location. Picked up pancakes for mothers day only to find they forgot to include the maple syrup and butter. The best part? The woman who gave me my food made a point to go through and check the bag for accuracy. Good job guys. I’ll stick with my normal breakfast spot.

They changed their cook? We use to come for the corn beef hash it was amazing, it was chopped and grilled. Now the texture taste like baby food. What a loss. They grounded a great peace of meat into baby food consistency. The main reason to go is now the reason not to go… Fix it or change your cook.

The date of this review is April 11, 2016. My wife and I came here on Saturday, April 9, 2016 to have breakfast. The waitress informed us that the wait time is approximately 45 – 60 minutes, so we decided to leave. Today, I decided to have lunch here. I arrived at 12:30 p.m. and I was seated right away; no wait. I ordered a well-done hamburger with mustard, mayonnaise, lettuce, tomatoes, no onions and no French fries. The waitress informed me that the burger comes with their own house dressing, potato chips, and coleslaw! The hamburger was cooked to my perfection and I enjoyed it. The service was excellent and the waitress came by a few times to see if I needed anything else. For my hamburger, I paid $ 10.09(tax included.) I only wished that the wait on Saturday was not that long.

Went here today for lunch for the first time. The food was good and the service was good as well. Ate the ½ pound bacon cheeseburger and fries. Cooked perfectly with lots of flavor. Although the food was good I have to say I am not sure I will return because of the language that a few of the employees were using. Now don’t get me wrong I am no angel and I use those same words but there is a time to keep that down. There was a small child there so it was a bit sad to have to hear all this. I would have given 4 stars if there wasn’t all the F bombs flying around.

Big Portions, plain but OK quality. Everything on the menu tasteless. Just heat and serve pre-frozen or canned institutional supply food. Nothing scratch cooked, nor fresh baked nor inspirational nor unique. Counter is way to high. Service friendly but can be neglecting and ignoring and arrogant. Some of the servers hate each other and you can feel it in the air. Had the Choritzo and eggs our latest visit and not much flavor. Hash browns under cooked and really greasy. The big portions are the draw, then it all ends there. Try the Way Station Coffee Shop known for way better food and half the price and is close by.

A friend recommended this place to me, talking about the huge portions and the overall breakfast yummyness. After all the talk I had to check this place out, especially because it’s not too far from where I live. We arrived around 7am and were quickly seated. I choose the Ham and Cheese omelet and she got the Grilled Bacon and Cheese sandwich. After a short wait our food arrived and omg the portions are ridonkulous! My breakfast which consisted of an omelet, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, could have easily fed two very hungry people. I was pretty impressed with the amount. And even better it tasted good as well. I mean really how can you mess up an omelet, but still the food was served quick, good and hot and for the price I will come back.

Crazy Otto must really be crazy if he’s eating meals like this every day. I mean, the size of these portions is epic. I can’t imagine how unhealthy this stuff must be. But… NOONECARES!!! Crazy Otto’s ROCKS! It’s like Denny’s on steroids. It’s like the Barry Bonds of diners. The menu here is pretty extensive and there’s a lot of interesting things I’d like to try. For my first visit I went with the Eggs Benedict. The meal was cooked well and the hash browns, in a rare twist when it comes to diners, weren’t burnt to a crisp. A lot of restaurants seem to struggle with hash browns for some reason, but not Crazy Otto. Dude’s a frickin’ G. Chef Joey is the MAN. Keep up the good work, everyone! PS — please consider lowering the counter or getting bigger stools. It’s kind of a weird angle to eat at as it is. But… WHOCARES? THISPLACEISAWESOME!!!

Tried Crazy Otto’s for the first time and it was pretty«crazy» in the place. There was about a 20 minute wait for a table but being a Saturday it was not to bad. My daughter and I shared the three pancakes, eggs and sausage combo with a side of hash browns. Like others have said, they give you a lot of food. I would highly recommend sharing, unless you’re a big eater or want a second meal for later in the day. We still brought home food after sharing. The food was ok, nothing great, but not bad. Good tasting pancakes and hash browns. Service was good, refilled my coffee multiple times without having to ask. Prices seem to be ok, again being that they do give a lot of food. Would go back again, but now that I’ve tried it, I wouldn’t be in to much of a rush to go back.

Several Years ago, after having a sublime diner experience in Newhall, my buddy Felix told me to check out this place called Crazy Otto’s up in Acton. Under his advisement I went there and I was pretty quickly hooked on the place. Massive portions, and true to their advertising, if you leave hungry… it’s your own fault. Years passed, and I found every single opportunity I could to drive up to Acton to get their massive omelette with my name on it. When I saw signs for a location opening within a mile of my home, I was quite excited. I was also a bit worried. With unfettered access to Scotty’s Chili Cheese dog omelettes, that might be quite unhealthy for me. When Facebook told me that their Santa Clarita location was now open for breakfasts, I knew I had to plan a visit as soon as I could. I arrived the following day, late in the morning, and was quickly seated at a table. They’ve cut and walled up the old mexican place and are effectively sharing what was once one large restaurant space with two other restaurants that are opening up soon. They’ve got this place painted nicely, with large comfy booths on the sides, and tables scattered in the middle. Artwork is sparingly hung around the walls, I’d imagine they’re still decorating. There weren’t that many people in the place. Just a few occupied tables. I was handed a menu by a friendly waitress, and my beverage order was taken. She also helped me to sign onto the Wi-Fi bubble they’ve got free for their customers. Since It was still early, I asked for some coffee, as well as a glass of water. Friendly waitress took off, and returned very shortly with a cup o’ joe and cup o’ h20. I then shared with her my dilemma. Every trip to the location in Acton, I’ve always gotten the Chili Cheese dog omelet. It’s wonderful and delicious and even has my name on the thing. But since this is a new location, I really should change my order, and finally try something different. She then informed me of some other restaurant favorites. One of those was the Crazy Otto’s Burger Meat omelet, and since I was in the mood for breakfast, I went with it. Not too long afterwards, a crazy huge platter was placed before me, in addition to a pair of biscuits with a side of gravy. Massive servings here. I ate the omelet, did my best to work on the hash browns and gravy blanketed biscuits, but could barely put a dent into them. As I usually am after a trip to Crazy Otto’s, I was stuffed to the gills. Unfortunately I couldn’t pack up the leftovers as I had places to go after. I’m sorry third world children. While the hamburger omelet was quite good, I do think I’ll go back to my old standard, the Chili Cheese dog omelet. I took care of the bill, as many others have noted, you do pay for what you get here. My omelet + coffee + tip was around $ 20. So I do welcome Crazy Otto’s to Santa Clarita, and I really do hope the best for them. I’ll most definitely be back again and again for a massive sized breakfast.
