idiots. they were 45 minutes in delivering our order. some of the food was missing. complete incompetence. they should not be in business. beware if you’re order food for a larger party. They don’t have the brain capacity to handle it properly.

Decent food but no longer the same restaurant since its inception. Cost of doing business in CA is killing good restaurants like Specialtys. They can no longer pile on the bacon like they used to. Too bad…

I Went here a couple days ago and tried the hot chocolate(if you want to call it that). There was no coca taste. It tasted like warm milk with a squirt of chocolate syrup. I even commented to my friend that with me prior to getting the drink that it’s a good value since the price was cheaper than say a Starbucks. However, I would gladly pay double the price for something that at least resembles store bought hot chocolate. The staff was unfriendly and didn’t even greet any customers that walked in. Whenever someone got to the counter, the cashier would simply say what do you want. It wasn’t even busy so there should be no excuses for their behavior. This is by far the worst Specialty’s I’ve ever been to. ½ star for service and another ½ star for the lame«hot chocolate»

2 stars-parking is horrible-which shouldnt be the case since the other one is closed for renovations — delivery service times are pathetic which is why i had to pick up, kinda sub-par for specialty’s…

This is the nicest Specialty Café & Bakery I have been so far, and it was a new discovery for me, since i started working recently at a company nearby and there is not cafeteria inside. So food options are not many at a walking distance. This is one of the few, plus the place is huge and has very comfortable tables, especially like the big communal one that looks like you are in a living room of someone. Nice, fast, regular prices and very nice setup. A cool place to meet other people out of your working environment!

I bought a Hot Cheddar and Ham sandwich to go on Thursday. As I started eating the sandwich, I started to get worry already. First the bread was burnt. Then the lettuce was soggy! Within thirty minutes, I got diarrhea already. And I was not feeling well the whole afternoon. After I got home, I started having watery diarrhea, abdominal pain and fever etc. All signs point to food poisoning! I’ve been sick like a dog for the last two days. One would think that they charge more for a sandwich and they would have better food safety if not quality. I guess not!

This location is smaller and the parking situation is horrible. The one on Bowers that we normally go to for lunch or for pick up orders is currently closed for remodeling so we came here. Same as any other location. Order online, in line or at their machines.

The food is okay, but very expensive for such small portions. I need to eat 2 sandwiches to get full. It’s not bad, but definitely not worth the price.

Portions sizes for salad like chicken Cobb and ceaser are ever shrinking compared to other Specialty’s nearby. The salads here are pre-made not fresh instant. Service is ver slow and parking is lacking. Recommend other places for lunch.

I’ve eaten here several times in the past(our company is in the same building) and the food was so so at best but I will NEVER set foot any Specialty’s restaurant again after i learned they negotiated an exclusive contract with the building owner which will effectively evict a small 10+ year mom and pop restaurant from the same building. While I don’t mind seeing healthy competition, I won’t reward Specialty’s for their unfair business practices.

I tend to host a lot of lunch and learns, and let me tell you how sick a person can get of Panera. Why does everyone always want Panera? Anyway, Specialty’s is a really good alternative for lunch catering. My local rep uses them regularly and suggested we use them today for an event we had. Placing the order online was easy and the delivery showed up right on time. Most importantly, everything we ordered was made correctly(several people asked for«no» on an ingredient). Box lunches come with chips, an apple and an assorted cookie and our participants enjoyed their food. Pricing is in line with other lunch catering options — I’d definitely use them again.

Best lunch sandwich I had in a long time. Hot pastrami sandwich is a must try. Good meat and vegi portions and perfectly toasted bread. Only complain would be the line and constantly out of bread options.

No customized salads. Doesn’t seem like specialtys… Got an eggshell and part of the avocado skin in the Cobb salad. I like specialtys, just not this location…

Their prices are reasonable and they have 3 kiosks where you can order and pay yourself. And you pick your buzzer. There is also an option to order in the traditional way. Tried the Tuna melt, it came with tomatoes and lettuce. Was great.

Ample parking in the attached lot. Lots of seating and an electrical outlet next to every table. I think this would be a great café to use as a «work from home» or out of the office-office. I didn’t get a chance to check the wi-fi, but if they have it, this place is practically perfect. I got a croissant, which the cashier offered to heat up. I’m glad I took her up on it as it was perfectly flaky and delicious. I am also tempted to try a breakfast sandwich next time I visit.

Food is good, but service is not. Several times I have dealt with unpolite attendants in this place. I am writing this after 20 minutes wait for 1 sandwich. Specialty s at Bowers is much better in these aspects.

We use Specialty’s for office catering frequently. Plenty of options. Always fresh. Usually delivers on time. I rarely stop in on my own for lunch. But it’s super convenient being able to place an order online and customize your sandwich to your liking. 15 minutes later it is sitting on the pickup shelf ready to be claimed. I do have to say I find it interesting that no one even monitors the pickup orders to see if you are actually the person who placed the order. Since they are paid for in advance, who is supposed to stop Joe Shmoe from walking in and just grabbing whatever is available and walking out? Honor system here I guess. Maybe this is just a good sign that I don’t have to lose total faith in mankind quite yet. Or maybe they just cut their losses and it’s easier and more cost efficient to remake an order that occasionally goes missing instead of being the sandwich police. And then the obvious… This place is overpriced. It’s good, but it’s not THAT good. The some of prices are in line with what you would pay at an establishment where you are seated and waited on. I don’t get it. But I guess I don’t have to. These are popping up all over the place now, so clearly they aren’t hurting for business.

This is a convenient go to place if you want a quick bite to eat or a pick me up in the morning/afternoon. One of my colleagues who works at Intel nearby suggested that I go here to grab some desserts for a meeting. There are soups, salads, sandwiches, desserts, coffee/tea, etc. here. I would consider this more like a coffee shop, rather than a dessert shop. The items are typical and safe — ranging from muffins, danishes, and pasteries. I had cup of the creamed tomato soup. The soup was average good, with no unexpected surprises. My colleague had the vegarian lentil soup which he enjoyed. The ladies at the front counter are super sweet. Unfortunately, they are closely watched by the shift managers(two of them?) who were super aggressive and grumpy. Made for a bit of an unpleasant experience. Clean Specialty but wish there was someone walking around to clean the tables during lunch time like Habit or Panera. Extremely long wait to get a sandwich. I was so disgusted by the kitchen staff’s frequent use of the microwave to warm up the meat and drain excess liquid before slapping it onto a sandwich. Disgusting and definitely not gourmet, deluxe or special. Cannot believe I paid so much for these sandwiches. I tried the Thai coconut soup today and I prefer going to a Thai restaurant to eat a meal instead. The soup was as thick as the curry you get at Thai restaurants. Baked goods made this place a two star!
