Unfortunately I didn’t make this review on time because they just closed down. I have been going to this donut shop for YEARS! They have been my go-to donut place since I was a kid! This place was a small family owned business, Their service was always warm and welcoming. They always had fresh batches of donuts coming out of the oven. I know they had their competitors out there, but I loved this place no matter what. Their donut holes were to die for. You couldn’t just eat one. They were so light and fluffy and perfectly glazed. I remember ordering two dozen… and being the pig that I am… I ate the whole 2 dozen and didn’t even realize it. They also had light and airy sugar donuts, glazed, cake donuts. homemade croissants… etc. All of their baked goods were just yummy. And with all that said… I am so heart-brokened to say that this donut place finally closed down. Though, I know there are other comparable places, like Stans donut shop, Krispy kreme donuts, and Fractured Prune… No other place had the heart and love that they gave to their customers like they did I am so disheartened to see them go.

Came in very quickly to grab a glazed donut and was immediately greeted by a lady who was very nice and welcoming. I had been craving a donut all week and she said«I had come to the right place» and she was right. The donut is so delicious and very old fashioned and traditional– just what I wanted. Thank you

Classic Korean donut shop. Homemade donuts that just melt in your mouth and coffee as strong as you take it. Very down home feel. I was at another location in Cupertino a few years ago and it was identical even though it’s not a chain.

It’s difficult to find a good quality donut shop, but this is the place. A family run business focused on freshness, friendship, and price. The apple fritter is to die for. Always fresh and warm. Stop by and say hello to Michelle and family

Small, family-run donut shop(but, aren’t most nowadays). The donuts are good and usually fresh. They have the standard flavors, but might mix it up with a different kind of jelly donut or maybe some apple fritter donut holes. With that being said, the reason I like coming in here is the service. Whether a new customer or a regular, they always have this insanely great attitude! That’s always a great way to start your morning! «Just the tip» — Regular donut holes are awesome when they are still warm!

I love how close this place is to my work, I’m in and out of there with the quick service. I’m assuming this place is ran by Vietnamese people since they offer Vietnamese coffee, never had it but I did have the regular coffee which was good. But the reason why I keep coming back here is the apple fritter, I’m not much of a fan of cooked apples but this place makes really good apple fritters. Please note the 4 star because sometimes they don’t offer the small apple fritter. the regular sized one is too dang big.

I’ve been coming to donut den since I was a kid. Before church or after or for a brunch dessert. Great service and even better donuts. I’ve never been disappointed with either. Definitely try it!

This store holds something that is lost in modern America. The 85 cent quality donut, with just the right amount of chewiness and fluff to cause a decadent calming sensation on your tongue. More than the donut, I would pay to experience the service that I did. Both the lady at the counter and the man who was working were extremely patient and polite. Everything here is neat and efficient, while not sacrificing the quality of the dish to any extent. My banana milk tea was stellar. I will be back here soon, and I recommend you experience the journey that is The Donut Den.

I have been buying donuts here regularly and they have never disppointed. This place has THEBEST donuts I have had in the San Jose /Santa Clara area. Sometimes they run out of donuts early, and I go to the Krispy Kreme only if they have run out of donuts here. The donuts here are super yummy, the best part is they are not over-sweet so you can have more of them.

Big inconvenience but not their fault. Parking lot was being worked on blocking walkways. The donut selection was great even had donuts holes available. Was only going to get a couple but saw $ 8.50 for a dozen. So chose several varieties. A surprise, the lady threw in 4 donut holes. Down side was the banana strawberry smoothie was small size for the price charged. It’s in small plaza so parking can be hassle especially having a delivery truck in lot while trying to get out of parking space.

This place is super convenient and super yummy, as all donut places should be. The couple that owns it is also so sweet. Get the cinnamon crunch donut — it is everything! Two dozen donuts for $ 19 — perfect for an office pick-me-up.

Very nice spot to grab donuts and coffee before a trip to Great America or California Extreme. Staff is friendly and the prices are right. Donut selection could be larger, but generally this store carries what you would expect from a donut shop. A nice mom and pop store to support!

Came here at 9:30am on a Wednesday to get doughnuts for work. The doughnut shelves were bare except for 2 apple fritters and a handful of doughnut holes. Confused, I looked behind the counter and the lady smiles and says«Out of doughnuts!» WTH? At 9:30am? YOU’RE A DOUGHNUTSHOP!!! Maybe they could change their name to something else ‘cuz if it’s doughnuts you’re looking for, Doughnut Den doesn’t have it.

The folks at Donut Den are helpful, courteous, and friendly. They have a decent variety of donuts as long as they haven’t just been cleaned out by one of the many construction crews in the new stadium area, and the donuts are damn good. I should also say this was not a one-off visit. I’ve been going there for office donuts once or twice a week for about 10 months. The price is also right. I got a box of about 18 this morning, including filled varieties, and it was less than a dollar a donut… with tip! I highly recommend.

Had a random craving for donut holes and decided to come here since it’s so close to my office. It was slow, I came around 2pm so I’m pretty sure most people aren’t hankering for donut holes… The donut selection wasn’t really big at this time, just an FYI for anyone who decides to stop by during non morning hours but there was still a small variety. They had a pile of donut holes, which was all that mattered to me! :D I thought it was pretty cheap $ 1.50 for a dozen. The lady who helped me was really sweet and on top of the donut order I decided to get a smoothie(I love smoothies!) cos I love support these small mom & pop businesses. They had a list of different flavors but she ran out of passionfruit so I got strawberry instead. I’m pretty sure they use a syrup. so if you’re a health nut or if you’re expected real fruit. you might want to pass up on the smoothie. It wasn’t too bad in my book, but it’s definitely no jamba juice. The donut holes were good, but more doughy than I am accustomed to. Usually I’m used to them being lighter and airy. But seriously, nobody in my office is complaining. Will be back here for more random donut cravings!
