The customer service is a nightmare. The sales staff only works once in a while.
They don’t communicate on the phone, and sparingly communicate via email.
Confirmation is sent out less than 48 hrs before scheduled pickup, through email.

I am so grateful I found Let Them Eat Cake!!! We needed a safe bakery for severe peanut allergies for my wedding and my husband I wanted a huge dessert table and a winter wedding cake. Not only did she have safe products and facilities (and fully understood cross contamination and safe cooking facilities and bakeware) but her range of products and abilities to literally make anything we asked for blew us away! To top it off everything she made looked wonderful! Better than we could have ever expected. I seriously can not praise her hard work enough. She was easy to contact and we communicated through email as well as on the phone and in person. And super nice and understanding! She even delivered all our desserts in person to our reception and helped to set up. We ordered cupcakes, rice crispies, brownies, cookies, biscotties, chocolate truffles for each guest as favors, a cream puff tower and a wedding cake! Every single item was of the highest quality and was so amazing! I can. It thank Marji enough for giving us an amazing wedding sweets table and cake and not only that but peace of mind. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We plan on using her for any and all cake orders!

Marji of Let them eat cake! was amazing to work with for my wedding cake. When I first contacted her, I sent her a picture of the design I wanted and told her what flavors I wanted to try at the tasting. At the tasting, she was prepared with all the flavors I had requested, and had even done a fondant mock-​up of the zig-​zag design I wanted on my cake – I was so impressed. The cake was delicious! We opted for her carrot cake, chocolate chiffon with coffee filling, and chocolate chiffon with strawberries and whipped cream filling. After meeting Marji at the tasting, we were confident that she understood what we wanted and we were excited to work with her. She even offered to get a ribbon for the cake for us and make us a stand to work with our design.
Everything went flawlessly on the day of our wedding. Marji delivered the cake on time, and the entire set-​up looked gorgeous. The cake looked exactly like what I wanted, and I got a TON of compliments on the cake décor and flavors! It was beautiful!

We had a birthday party for my seven-​year-​old and asked for a peanut-​free cake. Marji was able to fit us into her busy schedule without any issues. The website was very helpful in helping us pick a banana/​chocolate cake with coconut filling. Marji was very prompt and detailed on communication about our order. Our experience was five-​star from start to finish with Marji. Our guests raved about how moist the cake was, and others couldn’t stop talking about the great combinations of flavor. It was no surprise that Marji delivers the cake for no extra charge. I was happy to received such personal and responcible service on a peanut free cake that we will always remember.
I an already planning to order another cake in September for my other daughters birthday.

Have been ordering gluten free cake from Marji for the past 3 years, very happy with the product. Every one was surprised that gluten free cake tastes better than the «real» cake.
Marji was very prompt, delivered the cake on time. I wish communication could be a little better (something that bothered me this year) — looks like they have trouble with their e-​mail service. Voice mails are also not promptly returned.

In the summer of 2013, I met with the baker/​owner, Marji Pros, months before my November wedding to do a tasting and some scheduling. I did the tasting and we emailed for a few weeks on details. Everything was fine for a while, and we were discussing options and design.
Then, inexplicably, she stopped returning my emails and calls. Literally, dropped off the face of the earth, around September for a November wedding. She never provided any explanation, and never called or emailed me back even though I emailed her several times just requesting a status update because I was getting concerned. The cake tasted good when I did the tasting, but overall it was a horrible and very unprofessional experience. I ended up finding an alternate cake baker on short notice, since this company never responded or followed up on the services we had agreed to.
From what I understand, this company used to be owned by two individuals who have moved to southern California. I would not use the current owner again.

Had their Gluten Free Red Velvet Cake! I was jumping up for joy!!! It was delish– it actually tasted like a regular cake.
