Morning Glory

Aw! I used to go here all the time as a child. Kate, the owner and her friend are super friendly! They also own BBQ Town on the right when you exit! Go support them!

I love Morning Glory because of its items and the K-​pop merchandise that they sell. You can usually find K-​pop calendars, posters, socks, etc. However, I feel like they’re kind of overpriced but I understand since it’s hard to find a Korean store that sells K-​pop merchandise. My sister bought two keychains from here once, and it was way overpriced for something that was so small: $ 9 each. We didn’t know the price until we asked. We decided to return the keychains but instead of refunding them, the owner gave us store credit for the keychains instead. So buy wisely.
I’ve been here about five times and the experience is usually a hit-​or-​miss. The owner of this store (who wears glasses) seems like she doesn’t want to help her customers and she’s always busy working on something at the counter. She won’t help you unless you ask. I also didn’t like how she never greets her customers either. There’s no music and it’s usually silent which gives off a scary vibe. There’s another ahjumma cashier who works here and she’s way nicer than the owner. I haven’t seen her in a while, sadly.
The only thing I liked about Morning Glory was its big item selections.

Visited here with my sister-​in-​law. They have a pretty good selection here. I love the letter sets, stickers, and notebooks.

I can’t believe noone has ever written a review for this place.
It’s a bit tough to find because it’s hidden all the way in the corner. I’ve been looking for somewhere that sells cute morning glory/​sanrio merchandises and found the perfect spot. I remember loving all the morning glory characters when I was youger. I love the collection of stuffed animals and the stationaries they have here. And the owner of the place was extremely friendly. Her english wasn’t perfect but she really went out of her way to find me the perfect gift for my neice and nephew. Definitely will be back! :)
