Great housewares store with many products at a decent price. But service was horrible. I know I look much younger than my age but the lady said some very degrading, disrespectful things to me.(she told me I shouldn’t buy stuff I don’t know what it is and how to use. Mind you, I was buying a sealing ring for my pressure cooker I owned and obviously know how to use). She kept pushing(as if she didn’t want a sale) and continued to say things that was totally unrelated to anything in the store. I told her what she was saying was disrespectful and she asked for my mom. Seriously? I’ve got a husband, two kids, and a whole lot of years in me. Besides, I don’t feel this type of disrespect should be tolerated regardless of age. Anyway, two stars for the products but no more than that because I still would not support their business by buying their products.

I definitely wouldn’t cal this a gift shop. It’s basically a store full of Korean stuff that women would like, so think household items, cooking tools(including fancy rice cookers and other electronics), cosmetics, beauty products and a few edible items. They sell Shiseido cosmetics in addition to many different Korean brands. I only picked up a $ 3 pair of false eyelashes, but I considered asking about the skin care items because the lady working at the cash register was older but had the best complexion!

Very good selection of Korean housewares. They have a nice selection of good quality Korean porcelain dinnerware, which is very difficult to find in the U.S. Good place to go if you’re looking for a bridal shower or housewarming gift for someone who likes to cook Asian food.

Went here with the intention of looking at cosmetics. They had a few makeup samples laid out in the sale area. The sale prices were great, but what I liked was sold out in my shade so I ended up only getting false eyelash glue and a $ 0.50 eye mask. When I went to the register, the worker(I assume she’s the owner or maybe co-owner?) told me that she’ll give me the eye mask for free. While I was browsing with two other people, they laid out 3 sets of 2 samples for each of us. They even gave my sister the samples, even though she didn’t buy anything. Super good service and sweet people. Will definitely go again next time I’m in the area.

Great for traditional Asian household goods and makeup. I hate the smell when you first walk in though, ginseng galore. But, my mom vouches that their prices are usually a bit cheaper than other places, and she was right! The Cuckoo rice cooker I bought here was cheaper than HK Market. Quick and easy transaction, but no returns allowed here. They also throw in a lot of samples and face masks when you buy makeup here.

This place is great, cheap and the people there are super sweet. Genuinely polite. I came here with my sister because I was told that it’s the only local place to get a low price on a bento jar and it was. I got one for my sisters birthday so that was easy but like it’s been mentioned before they also have other things too besides kitchen ware. Like clothes and cosmetics, but they also have some nice ties too that if they were a bit cheaper I might’ve bought one. But I’m poor and so I’ve got to be shrewd with my moneys. But they also had a advertisement poster of some cosmetics and I asked if I could have it and she told me no but that if I’d give her my number she’d phone to let me know when I could get it. So I thought okay, she’s just being polite but a months gone by and she phoned and I picked up that Hyori Lee poster today for FREE!!! What a sweet heart! So most definitely I’m gonna make an effort to buy whatever I need to from that store from now on!!! And btw I’m not even korean so please don’t assume to think that she was nice particularly to me due to reverse racism. I LOVENICEPEOPLE!!!

This place is awesome — cheapest place in the bay area to get the Zojirushi BBCC-X20. If you know what that is and want one, then you’ll want to at least check this place out. My only qualm(–1 star) was that the nice lady working the counter didn’t get off the phone the whole time I was there(should probably add a half star because she skillfully completed a transaction through a series of nods).

I found that place a week ago. The prices were better than on the internet due to the shipping costs. A nice Korean lady manages the store. Anyways, this place is great for any household/kitchen thing you need.

Man, this place has everything. I only browsed housewares when I came here, but there’s no doubt that the other side is FULL of things like clothes, cosmetics, accessories, etc. There were so many kitchen gadgets and containers here. Man oh man. I could lose myself in all the products.

Best place to get Korean/Japanese kitchen stuff. Also the best place to find vacuum bottles(aka«thermos» bottles.) They have a better selection than any of the Korean, Japanese, or Chinese markets in the area. I’ve bought four of five from Cosmos(I use them for hot and cold teas, particularly when I’m riding my bicycle. FYI, I prefer Tiger’s bottles, Zojirushi’s bottle design seems nice but fails over time.) Staff has always been nice and helpful.

The store is large, two stores connected inside. It is like a small Korean department store from appliances like kimchee fridges and 3 types of roomba vacumns, to designer bags, mens suits, to childrens traditional hanbocks, clothing, bedding and outerware. On the other side of the store were underwear, socks, housewares, pots, pans, knives, servingware, small gifts, artwork, food storage, rice cookers and thermos. Found hair color for asian hair, the salesperson was very helpful in discussing the different brands and how they die asian hair since it is so course and thick. Excellent customer service and helpful, not naggy. In the same shopping center of the Rite Aid and Hometown Buffet.

To say this is a gift shop is really mis-labeling it. I went to this place in search of a food thermos for my son’s school lunch. I did a lot of research on line and found that there was this line of thermos most recommended. After doing more research, I found that this was the closest shop to my home which carried these items. So off I went in search of it. Basically, this is a Korean-owned store which carries everything conceivable. Handbags, clothing, cosmetics, household products, appliances, etc. They did carry what I was looking for and at about $ 20 less than the average price of what you can expect to pay if you purchased it on line(before the shipping costs). I was very pleased with my purchase. Now, I hope the thermos lives up to what all the reviews I’ve read on line tout it to be.
