I used to go here a lot before I found out about Cherry garden. I think their tapsilog is better than Pinoy express next door. I also love their halo halo and sago. Too bad they closed down.

the people here are always so friendly and the food comes out fast and sizzling(made just for you). however, the silogs are always drenched with too much cooking oil. =( it’s cheap, though. so if you’re missing filipino food, want fast, hot breakfast, and don’t want to spend too much, this is the place for you.

Went here… it was closed. Bummer. Went to pinoy(next door) instead. Edited to one star… dunno why I posted 3 stars when the place was closed.

Not that many people know about this place. Its behind one of my friends house Food is fantastic, I always order the halo halo and the two meat combo with rice and an EGG on top MmM. thats the best There rice has flavor not like a general white rice. The service is also fast and very welcoming. EVERYONEPLZGOHEREITSWORTHIT!

I’ve heard lots of good things about this place, so I thought I’d check out their«silogs». They ran out of pork chops, so I tried the next best thing, the tocilog. It was Saturday and we wanted to order their lechon by the pound which is known to be available on Saturdays at noon(according to their signs all over the place). We were here at 12:30, and after we ordered breakfast/brunch, I asked about it. They said they were sold out, and advised us to call in next time if we wanted to order on a future Saturday. Wow. We sat down and watched whatever was on their big screen. Our food was delivered to us 5 minutes or so later. I thought the tocino was dry. My bf had the pork adobo silog, which was really tender. He didn’t like it because he likes his adobo saucy, but I thought the meat was tasty. The garlic rice was soooo good though, and the over-easy eggs smashed over the rice made my breakfast. The only condiments at the table was salt, pepper, and spicy vinegar. I wanted the soy sauce /lemon combination I see at other filipino restaurants. They have a limited menu, but everything looked good. You can order your breakfast with any style egg so you’re not limited to over easy. If you’re not into the breakfast«silog», you can also have your meal with steamed rice and lumpia shanghai. There are only a few tables, so I imagine it gets busy at lunchtime. But there’s more seating here than at Magic Wok in Sunnyvale. Overall, we had a good experience. I hope to try their lechon next time, and I’ll review that when that happens. While we were eating another patron had asked what their popular dishes were. The guy at the counter said pork chops and the beef tapa were popular. I guess that’s what I’m trying next time!

Had«brunch» here the other day. I really wanted to try the fried chicken but they ran out of the chicken the day before. We ordered the tocilog(tocino) and bangus with lumpia. Our meals were good – nothing to rave about but perfectly acceptable. I guess«solid» would be a good term. The husband’s friends from Chicago are coming in September for the draft pick party(ugggh… football season again? why can’t the NFL go on strike?) and we decided we would bring them to the Lechon Factory to satisfy their Filipino food cravings. Way easier than me cooking breakfast for 6 guys! I also had the Halo Halo with ube ice cream($ 3.50). I wish there had been more variety of beans/fruit/stuff, but it hit the spot. Next time we’ll try the taho(I missed it on the menu board the first time) and the pork chops. They also sell various Filipino desserts by the party tray – bibingka, cassava, puto, kutsinta, etc.
